Yeah, I take that back, although I am extremely skilled in madden I am not one of those type of players.

I am not trying to show anyone up with my madden skills the point is that I clearly do not need to cheat to win games.

I always have though of it as good sportsmanship, you've got the game well in hand by the 3rd qtr, just tone the game down. I've played in my fair share of Madden leagues over the years and I have taken my losses but you just were running up the score the when the game was already decided.

The way you play Soodmeg is disrespectful. I guess you are a Belichick fan in terms of coaching. Further listening to to this espn segment it appears you have the same attitude as him, no wonder you were against rules.

And blitzed the whole game, you need to mention that you dishonest liar, and funny you must bring a situation that you have no actual knowledge about into this conversation. I actually had you in check the first qtr. and the game was within reach at the beginning of the 3rd before you got excited.

I haven't heard anything from Itlnstln since he responded to my post a few days ago. My response to that went unanswered. I'll PM him now.

I tried to play my game with you multiple times but we just didn't match up.

Alright, one day removed from that whole situation I would like to take the time to tell everyone exactly what happened and what prompted the dialogue between myself and seen. This isnt to disrespect seen this is to simply clear my name of any wrong doing as I feel its imporant has I have a knack for coming off like a bad guy even when I feel I have done nothing wrong. Here is the entire situation as I saw it, seen feel free to add your side. Seen, I will also address some of the comment you have made against me. Everything I am saying can be backed up by checking the stat page on the website or online franchise. I hope this clears up any and all confusion.

Seen and I decided to play our madden game last night. The first half of the game went smoothly it seem and we ended the half with me winning 17 to zero. Those scores were from a CJ run, and a PA pass plus a last second FG.

Now in the 3rd qrt I scored 4 times. A CJ run at 2:41 seconds, a TD pass at 2:08 seconds, a CJ score 1:21 seconds and a returned INT with time running out at 0:00 seconds a total of 28 points.

Notice how little time is between each score. That can only happen if your opponent constantly goes 3 and out/ turns the ball over a lot. Seen went 3-11 on 3rd down conv and had 7 total turnovers also going 1-3 in the red zone.

In the 4th I scored a total of 5 TDs. A returned fumble on a kick off at 4:52, a 22 yard pass at 2:11, a Returned INT at 1:54, a CJ run at 1:19, a L. White 35 yard run at 0:29 seconds.

Once again notice how little time is between each score, I was a perfect 5 for 5 on 3rd down conv. and never even got to a 4th down to punt it. I scored on every drive expect the very first one.

I attempted 17 passes and 25 rushes. That is a fairly evenly called game not a single one of my players had over 40 yards receiving.

Now with 1:57 seconds left in the 4th qrt seen seemingly stops playing. I sit dumbfounded watching his Pats false start 21 times in a row. During this time he sends me a message about throwing his controller and breaking it.

I send a message that says for him to calm down but receive nothing back. During the time that I am stuck watching him false start my girlfriend and her friend request to play rockband, I say cool after this game. I send seen a message saying, "dude I know you are mad but I need to end this game." No response. Some time later I send another message saying that I am getting kinda pissed and that he should at least turn off his xbox so I can play the CPU and end the game. No response. My third message is full of swears because I think its bullshit for him to make me wait while he was doing whatever he was doing, I also post this on CAG because I figured he would be on his computer typing something about me.

After 15 min of false starts he comes back and turns of his xbox and I finish out the game vs the CPU. I then send 2 apology message to him about my harsh post and delete the post from CAG. Seen this sends me message saying that I am a jerk and that I ran up the score and cheated during the game. This sparked us to go back and forth for a while on the boards, I eventual deleted all of my negative post as I felt they made me look made.

I will now address Seen comments:

I didnt know being up big meant I was suppose to play cover two for the rest of the game. I dont understand what you wanted me to do, let you score points? Let you run any play you wanted? Set the controller down?

As for play action I can tell you exactly why I ran it. I find it disrespectful to call a goal line defense when I am trying to be nice and just run the ball. I am already trying to just run the ball but I will not let you simply smash all my guys in the backfield. If you noticed I only PA when you at 10 guys in the box every other time was a simple HB dive.

Again, explain to me how I could have tone the game down any more than I did? I ran the ball but kept getting huge gains, what am I suppose to do? Run backwards? QB kneel? This also doesnt factor in the amount of turn overs for TDs I had. Those are your mistakes not mine. You yourself admitted that you gave up on defense after I had the game well in hand so I dont understand how you give up on calling good defensive plays but then complain that I was scoring too much.

I dont really see how I am disrespectful when I wasnt the one that made you sit for 15 min watching me false start over and over.

I was against the rules because they were stupid. I also wasnt the only one that was against them. They also made it illegal to run plays that went against the norm even if those plays are completely legal as you see in the next point.

Your subs which create mismatches since you line guys up and run WR routes. 0 WR set yet there are 3 guys split out like WRs.....hmmm...

Yeah, those guys would be Tight Ends not WR which is why it says 0 WRs. The formation is set in a way to confuse the defense. Its a default formation I didnt sub anyone anywhere. Its basically a goal line formation but it splits guys out. Thats why I didnt like your rules because they outlaw things like this. They dont allow you to make good football tactics based on your own roster, I have 3 receiving TE in Bo, Crumpler, Jared Cook JR, I picked the play book based on formations that allow all 3 of them to be on the field at the same time in a base formation. They were not subbed there. Have any one of you actually went through each play book? There are a ton of unique formations its not my fault you havent seen it before.

The bottom line is this Seen. It seems to be like you took the 80-7 loss as a blow to your ego even though a good portion of it was your mistakes. Lots of turnovers, lots of 3 and outs, giving up on defense all of those were on you not me. You seem to have wanted me to go out of my way to not score and though I am fine with toning it down I am not going to QB kneel or run backwards in the middle of the 3rd QRT just because you cant handle loosing big. I have beaten other people in the league by large margins and everyone else has joked it off and had something good to say about me after wards. It seems like you have a personal problem that is clouding your judgment of how the game went. I am extremely good at madden, I dont need to cheat to win games and I especially dont need to beat a 0-5 team to make myself feel good. The game just didnt go your way that time.

With that I have no hard feelings towards seen or anyone else.

I havent said anything about this yet because I like both of you guys. The false start stuff is bad sportsmanship in my opinion. Unless, there was no way to let you know, thats just rude. I 've broken a controller b4 due to terrible games but you cant act that way. Is there a way for mercy say 40-0? I would be mega pissed too, but i also would respect you for your skills. Just my opinion, thanks for the post...hopefully everything will be cool between you 2
 
Soodmeg, I've said what I have to say and regardless of you 30minute write-up I stand by the statements I have made. This isn't surprising you spent all that time on your write-up to make yourself look not at fault.

Further, I'm not denying you are good at this game. Say everyone in the league is about my level (hypothetical) and you blow everyone out like that, why even continue to play in the league where is the fun in the game? I have no problem losing, just don't rub it in the losers face.

This whole thing of running the score up is a complicated topic i believe i think we all have a certain criteria that we would call running the score up. I mean i have been in a game before up 27 points going into the fourth and given up 28 points in the final quarter,this happen due to one good drive by my opponent and 2 forced fumbles by my opponent and an onside kick to top it off.

That being said i really don't call it a safe point margin until being up around 35 points. Looking at this game between Soodmeg and Seen, you (Soodmeg) were up 45 - 0 going into the fourth quarter of play, so its kind of hard for me to see how toning the game down gets you five touchdowns or 35 more points in the final quarter. I do see that you returned a fumble and a pick in the last quarter which is understandable.

I will complement you and say you are definetley better than the average madden player here and when i see the point diff in your games it just makes me even more hungry to play you, i am hoping i get a chance to play you in the superbowl, if we do meet feel free not to tone your game at any point.

Thats what I am saying. It might be because I am a huge soccer fan played in high school and was on college scholarship to play. In soccer there is no bullshit imaginary respect rule that a lot of American sports have. You play until the game is over thats it, in fact most of the time its considered a sign of disrespect to mail it in if you are winning because its saying that you are so much better than the other team that you dont even need to try. Even in soccer video games you will never see someone just passing it around the back waiting for the time to end.

Its only when you deal with American Football and Baseball fans were all these crazy rules about respecting your opponent pop up it and you have to completely go out of your way to not play the game in order to not offend them.

Dont score too much it hurts their feelings, dont watch a home run leave the park it hurts their feelings, dont slide in after a home run it hurts their feelings, if you are winning dont pass the ball it hurts their feelings.

This is one of the reason why I love soccer, there are very few excuses. You either win or you dont it very rare that one team says makes a claim that another, "didnt play the game right."

Whatever though.
