To be honest, I'd prefer if you guys wouldn't switch teams, because its kind of unfair for somebody to start with an 0-6 or 1-5 team. That being said, if for some reason you'd like to downgrade, let me know.
And frankly, I'm not really sure you would want to switch teams, as these are 2 of the worst ranked teams in the game.

That's what I was hoping. I'll wait till tomorrow to see if anybody ACTUALLY wants the 49ers, otherwise I'll give them to the guy that posted a few pages ago.
 
Sorry guys but I (Falcons) am going to have to drop from the league. Having connection problems again. Got an open NAT, we both tried to play being directly connected to the modem and nothing worked. Don't know what else I can do. I got to assume it has something to do with my internet since it's never happened to IvanHood before.

Some good ones are still left. From the online franchise menu, go to Rosters>>>Player Management. FREE AGENTS are an option via the LT button. Feel free to grab anybody you'd like (just 1).
 
Azu, Raiders are obviously not checking in here. I've messaged him once here, made a couple posts and sent him a few messages on XBL. I don't want to seem like a pain, but the only response he ever gave me was 'you on now?' when I was away. I asked multiple times for a time frame he planned on being on XBL so I can log on then. I don't want to just pray we're on at the same time or wait around all day.

Maybe I'll get lucky and run into him, but this isn't exactly a great team manager from what I've been experiencing here. Frustrating!
 
Is there any reason you didn't draft out Block D? It seems like taking the extra 10 minutes to do it would be better than just allowing a feeding frenzy at noon.

You can also only pick up ONE, 1, Uno Free agents at this time. So choose wisely.

Titans Sign Veteran LB Donnie Edwards

It a move to sure up the line backing core the Tennessee Titans sign 13 year vet Donnie Edwards to a 1 year contract. Donnie should fit in well in the Titans 3-4 defense his speed and outstanding awareness. Edwards joins the leagues #1 defense and should be able to start right away.
 
After deliberations and considerations the Carolina Panthers signed established linebacker Boss Bailey, Bailey in recent years hasn't produced the numbers he would have liked to, but he as maintained his speedy presence on the field. Bailey told reporters he plans to join the currently undefeated Panthers and play on a high level to help maintain the perfect record, we will see if Bailey makes an impact this week against the Buffalo Bills and their high powered offense.
 
wow so just played neworlbush, great game very competitive came down to the wire, i was winning 19 - 17 when time expired in the fourth which is a win, but the server says we tied 17 to 17, lol this is the first time i saw that anybody seen this before on here or any other leagues ?
 
i don't think the commissioner can fix this can you Azu ?, if not no big deal it wasnt a division game and a tie is better than a loss i guess ? lol

Umm, I was playing a good game against the Steelers, but it booted me from the server :(. I'm not sure if he's continuing against the CPU or not, but he was up 14-3, and I could feel a safety coming on my part... :)

It was a good game indeed, then all of a sudden during the 3rd quarter it says your opponent has quit the game. Sort of puzzling I thought, haven't ran into any issues so far. Defense was playing pretty stout on both sides of the ball. I went ahead and just finished it out against the CPU.

I'll agree on that -- the QB situation with Rosenfels, then T-Jack was pretty dire. Alot of passes thrown were literally at the receivers shoelaces, where I know a decent QB would at least make it a catch-able ball. For the first drive I was like "where is Favre...oh wait, we don't have him in our league" I do have to say, that adjustment to Jared Allen threw me for a loop, quite a bit of heat coming from both ends that way!

I can't win until I get some competency at QB.

Well I'm actually willing to trade Palmer. I played without him for a quarter and used J.T. O'Sullivan and he played amazing. He made my suckass tight end actually catch a ball and everything was spot on.

Not sure if you'd allow it, but I'm definitely open on offers.

I don't see why not if I was to throw somebody like Tarvaris/Sage into the trade so you have a starter even if you want to start O'Sullivan.
1st round pick/Chester Taylor/somebody else?

I'm more interested in the somebody else because a 79 overall HB and a 25th overall draft pick aren't exactly appealing for a 90 overall starting QB. How often do you see starting QB's traded around? I'm looking for something bigger because I doubt anyone else in the league will trade away their starting QB. :)
