Right after he finishes with the Lions, he's down. So like 7 pm est.

Edit: Lions/Eagles playing at 6 est, Chargers/Chiefs officially 6:15/6:30 so we'll advance after that. Then Giants/Eagles I would guess at 7:15/30 est.

Ugh, yes. I was told it's happening sometime tonight. If I don't hear a definite time in the next hour then I'm going to sim at 9 est. Hope I'm not being too strict here but I'm trying to push things along.

Bigat, Eagles said they can start as late as 930 est tonight so if we advance by then let me know if that works for you.

Hold the phones, Chargers/Chiefs are telling me they are setting it up now. If it actually happens I'll definitely wait for them to finish. I guess Eagles/Giants will have to be another day if that's the case. I'll keep everyone updated.

Alright, phew, we made it to week 3. Let's try to make this week a little bit easier on me. Hard deadline: Thursday 8pm EST. I'm not tracking down people any more! There's also only 3 h2h games this week with Giants/Eagles playing now. So this should move quickly.

2-0 now with Colt Brennan under center. He hasn't had to do too much though, considering my defense has yet to allow a single point this year. I'm sure that will change against MattYoung next week, assuming his 360 doesn't burst into flames between now and then.

I may score, but I'm pretty sure you'll kick my ass. You were already much better than me, and I haven't played a human opponent since near the end of last season- in either of my online franchises. I don't remember the score of our last league game, but I think you won by at least 21.

FYI: itlnstln, I PM'ed you about our game. I should be able to play any day but tomorrow.
 
Overall okay game for me. I threw too many picks but got screwed twice (a strip after a first down and then a wack safety after my guy decided to catch the ball going in the wrong direction). Those 9 points and the two 4th and goals that shouldve been FGs instead of TDs and I was looking decent. Hah still wouldve lost 24-23 though.
 
I like it. Though there's rumors Washington is also included in the deal. I'm not sure why they would give up him + a 5th rounder. So I'm going to assume it's just a rumor as of now.
 
I don't get why the Steelers did that deal. I mean I bet some team would have ponied up at least a 3 or maybe a conditional 2 based off performance. I'd take him on the Pats
 
I don't get it either. Yeah, he's going to be suspended but it's just for 4 games. I'm sure there's a team out there who would have put together a better package for him. If the Steelers were suddenly so concerned about image, they'd have to trade half their roster.

Oh well, at the end of the day the Jets are still starting the terminally mediocre Mark Sanchez, so as a Pats fan I'm not too worried.. Though they've definitely improved.
 
Man, if terminally mediocre was all they needed to get to the AFC Championship game and a 9-7 record with one of the tougher schedules in the NFL, then I really look forward to these new improvements and seeing Sanchez mature next season. :)

He also had a 92.7 QB rating through 3 playoff games. He was of course protected by a great running game, but not exactly chump change in a high pressure situation.
 
I know I am probably WAY too late but are there any teams not taken? I play madden constantly, and I would like in if possible.
 
There are lots of open teams :). I recommend the steelers because I want to play 2 less CPU games. Check the op for a somewhat updated list and repose when you see a team of interest.
 
Well seeing how my team is taken (Cowboys! :p) I would love to play as the Steelers. I was a bit confused since it says they are taken but you did mention that it's only somewhat updated at this point. :)

Hey i only took the pokes because the Pats were taken the madden gods have made me pay on a weekly basis. Using Tom Brady made me develop some bad QB tendencies

Jesus fucking Christ. I should have traded this game in when it was still worth something. This was the third time in 4 attempted games over the past 2 days that the fucking thing has frozen on me.

In one game yesterday for the league I run, it froze at the beginning, but it let us play again. That second game did not freeze. Then I tried another one last night, and it froze in the 3rd quarter. Now, my game against itlnstln froze at halftime.

There are no scratches on the disc. My Xbox plays all other games just fine. What the fuck?
 
And of course, itlnstln just finished the game against the CPU without even having the courtesy to message me and ask about what happened. fuck him for that, and fuck this game. I quit.

My bad son, it wasnt meant to be a dick move... i've been in games where i try to play ball control and i get hit with all kinds of BS so i just didnt want to give the ball back to your offense. In other leagues, Mark Sanchez has lit up my defenses for over 500 yards and i know you're not a bum on the sticks. Next time, i'll just have to run Ray Rice and Willis McGahee til the clock runs out.

I definitely don't mind people throwing the ball late in the game up a lot. No one here should, really. I like my secondary and it only helps as far as the clock goes (plus it's easier to get a pick than a fumble). My problem was the fake on the chip shot field goal. I didn't even have the controller in my hand at the time, haha.
 
This is the second evening in a row I've come online, seen MasterAwesome, messaged him and nothing.

I'm sorry but the times I log on Live are very sporadic. With the nature of the rest of my school year, my schedule is very hard to predict. But I've been trying.. I've seen him twice and haven't managed to get it going.

Thanks... I'm just pissed off because my games have been disconnecting. First, it just sucks to have whatever progress you've made erased and your time wasted, and second, I hate doing things over that I've already done. But I guess I don't have to worry about the latter, since itlnstln finished against the CPU like a jackass.
 
Are you serious? DUDE - I was kicking your ASS 20-0 and figured you were pissed because you SUCK AT MADDEN!!! You were still logged into XBL while I finished the game with the CPU - why would I quit and redo the game. It is your mistake that your game froze - on my end it said you quit. I had no choice but to finish the game so we can move forward with the league.

Is there any way that this game can be cleared and replayed so this CRYBABY can stop giving excuses as to why he SUCKS ASS???
