Three or four, but it was 4th and inches every time, and three of them on the final drive I think. Furthest one out was from my own 48 I think with about 3.5 minutes left. Was gambling there that if I could get it I'd be able to run out the clock.

Once I figured out I could just play them as a power running team I played very well. Just like you figured out I couldn't stop the Wildcat. (Don't get any ideas future opponents, I'll be practicing)
 
Not offended. I probably wouldn't have mind as much if i didn't have ppl over and they are bored watching me play already, so now their watching me watching the clock tick haha. With 3 mins, 2 mins it's fine. But over 4 is a bit much. Winning is cool, i understand the need to secure the lead but I also want to just play the damn game. And the clock is already down to 10-15. Maybe I'm nitpicking.

It's fine, I understand. Normally I wouldn't do it but like I said I didn't want you to think I was running it up. If we meet again in the finals and I'm lucky enough to go up I'll give you more of a chance to come back.

I also remembered we scrimmaged way back in the beginning of the season and IIRC you came from way down and almost beat me, so that was in my mind as well, haha.

Anyway, good game. Playing with bad teams is definitely a challenge. You could probably tell it took me a while to adjust to not having Chris Johnson (no more bread and butter 15 yard screens for me, haha). I'm not used to a more powerful runner, I adjusted in the second half though. 14-3 the final.

Matt, let me know when a good time for you is?

Just so I'm reading the bracket correctly: When it comes down to the final game, the winner of the loser's bracket will need to beat the winner's bracket team TWICE to win the tournament? Right?

Yeah sure 5:00 sounds good. I'm gonna be relying on you to invite me to the game or whatever cause I've never really messed around with Madden online before so I don't know how to invite someone to a custom game or whatever. I'm sure it's not hard, but I don't know how to set everything up like the quarter length and stuff too.

I'm going on right now MasterAwesome.

Edit: Had an intense and amazing game with MasterAwesome, Both our Defenses failed and Offenses Thrived. Combining for a total of 972 Yards. I got ripped bad by Steven Jackson, He kept breaking tackles. He had about 220 Rush Yards -_- I was down in the hole early 28 to 14 but I battled back with 21 Points in the 4th to make it a Tie Game, MasterAwesome hit a Kris Brown FG with 3 Seconds to win 38-35, I had opportunities I could've converted, chances missed but overall it was a great game. I definitely need to get better wtih the Jags lol

David Garrard: 24/33 - 368 Yards - 3 TD - 2 INT
M. Jones - Drew: 7 Att - 86 Yards - 2 TD
M. Sims-Walker: 9 Rec - 223 Yards - 2 TD

Yeah wow that was a crazy game. Sorry I got off so quickly without messaging you back, I had to be somewhere at 6:15. Who knew Steven Jackson was capable of running a 98 yard TD? One stiff arm and he was gone...I thought for sure one of your CBs would have ran him down though. Steven Jackson ended up with like 13 carries for 222 yards or something (all I remember for sure is that it was 220+ yards with around a 17 yards per carry average) and 2 TDs. But man...there were at least 5 fumbles in that game too. I was so scared of fumbling in the 4th quarter cause it seemed like Venom was hitting LB to try and strip it every chance he got. I thought that was why Steven Jackson broke so many tackles...but maybe I'm wrong. He was successful a couple times late in the game and I cannot seem to win a "fight for the fumble" worth my life. Like seriously...I am the fastest button-masher out of every single one of my friends and yet I win about 5% of those online against other people...I don't know if there is some technique to it or what.

But man lol, at the end of the game with 3 seconds left it just popped into my head "wait a second...isn't this the guy that knows how to block FGs really well?" I was so nervous at the end but I appreciate you not using that exploit or whatever it is on me, so thanks for that :)

Playing with the worst teams in the league is definitely quite interesting. I never expected 2 of the worst teams in the NFL to put up almost 1000 combined offensive yards that game. Our defenses are definitely quite horrid...my best CB is rated 81 and the next best after him is like 63 or 66 maybe. Luckily I at least have Otogwe who got I think 1 or 2 picks that game and a fumble recovery or something...I wish there was a way to go back and review the stats. My LB play was so bad that game though...I think I would have been much better off just letting Laurinitis (?) play for himself. He's definitely a significant downgrade from Urlacher though.

Alright I'm not exactly sure who I'm playing next but I'm pretty much free anytime this weekend so let me know when you wanna play.
 
Haha Completely Random question, but it's LB to strip the ball? I always thought it was A for some reason and Haha Yeah I'm pretty good at mashing the buttons, I used to have some pretty epic Last Man Standing matches with Friends in Smackdown and such. I suppose that helped.

Okay, I now have a headache from all the rearranging I just did, haha. Lions are still in the tournament, but have their first L. Same goes with the Fins. He isn't available until Monday the earliest. Anyways, here's the updated bracket. Not too much changed, flipped the top and bottom to move along it a bit. Other than that, everything is the same.

Sure. I slept from 3:30-10 P.M. Eastern today, and I have to leave by 8 Eastern tomorrow at the very latest, so I'll probably be up all night and day. I'm leaving soon, but let me know if you have a more exact time, as in closer to 12 or to 1.

Alright BigAT, tomorrow sounds good, give me a time frame to shoot for cause my sleeping schedule on the weekends are ridiculous. I went to bed at 6 a.m. yesterday and woke up at 6 p.m. today but if you wanna do sometime in the afternoon just let me know and I'll set an alarm or something.

Haha yeah, that was the big change. With both of you guys essentially having byes, I decided to swap some things around so you guys didn't have to wait so long to play. Hope everything is clear though.

I see no reason to mess around with your sleep schedule if we don't have to. It's not like we're holding anything up. How does 7 PM EST sound? Let me know if you get up earlier I guess, I'm up and atom pretty early even on the weekends.

What's the story with the Lions dude, is he in? If you are hit me up and let me know what time is good. I've only used my mic against the Dolphins guy and Ubernes that's it, Haha.

And I don't use a mic for any game, haha. If I wanted someone's voice in my ear while I'm trying to play, I'd just let my gf come in and bug me. I don't really play any games that require it I guess.
