Madden 11 League-OFFICIAL CAG LEAGUE-That's all folks! Mini-tourney still coming tho!

Uber I talked with the rams owner I believe we worked out a deal for his hb reams I belive is name is a potentiaL dunno his age. Was a first draft rookie being sold for a second round pick sending all of my picks to the rams unfortunately....

Sprice, I don't completely understand your trade.
Could you break it down like this?

Rams receive;
(List draft pick(s) here)

Sprice receives:
(Player, position, overall,potential, age)

Rams get second rd pick chiefs get halfback rheams a potential..... I'm on my phone at work he came out of the first rookie draft I assume I do not know his age but I believe ballhawk said he's now a 89 ovr on the site he's a 83 but its not updated... I apologize but this is the best way I can post it

So....To Clarify:

Rams Receive:
2013 2nd Round Pick

Chiefs Receive:
Zefross Rheams, HB

89 OVR,23 Years Old, A Potential,
88 Speed,98 Agility, 98 Acceleration, 85 Awareness, 86 Trucking, 95 Elusiveness, 89 BCV, 86 Spin Move, 87 Juke Move, 80 Carrying

I don't think a 2nd round pick is enough for this guy, personally. Granted, the HB Market isn't the same as the CB Market, ....but earlier this year we had a 79 ovr cb traded for a 1st round pick, and an 81 ovr cb traded for a 1st round pick.

A HB who went up 6 Points in overall in 1 year is slated to be a 93-95 ovr next year.

in my opinion, a 2nd round pick doesn't cut it. I think the rams are getting shafted.

2 pages back it was offered to everyone for a 2nd pick I didn't make the deal I just jumped on it.... he has first rd pick and I'm pretty sure he is looking at the rb posistion..... thomas jones retired id prefer to use my second round pick all I have left on an a potential player wen I have the chance..... I feel since anyone could have hopped on it its a fair deal.... but thanks for posting it how its supposed to be done.....

What's up I'm the rams owner. Man I know what I'm doing I jus need picks bc I'm gona get galvin copeland on my first pick n jus tryna rebuld my team man jus let me know if it is good to go!

With that said its on the league to decide its favored to my side for sure...... but he offered him for a first rd no one took it. then a second rd as of yest and you can't pass up on that in my opinion......

I agree with Sprice here. I saw the offer posted and I could have jumped on it as well but he didn't offer a substantial upgrade over what I have and I'd prefer to improve other areas of my team through the draft.

The Rams made an open offer in the thread anyone could have jumped on, and no one else did. If it was so wildly ripping off the Rams there would have been 10 guys in this league all over it I'm pretty sure. As I recall when looking at the guy his Speed didn't blow me away (I forget what it was, you didn't post it) which is why I didn't make an offer.

I say allow it.

(speed posted)

Sprice has got Jamaal Charles.

That's one of the factors i took in here... 90 Ovr, 97 speed. Isn't he set at halfback? lol.

Bvharris, i'm all for players trading away great players for bad reasons...... But isn't that how teams get gutted? If ballhawk had been in the league for a considerable amount of time, i'd have not a single problem with it.... But he joined late last season (jan 22,2011)..... I don't want this to turn into another "i traded with my friend and then my friend got bored of the league and left" situation. I'm not saying this will happen (so please don't take offense with this, ballhawk)....BUT we've seen it before.

And...back to work.

Considering it was my friend in the situation you're talking about, I'm not convinced by that argument.

If anything I'd say him having Charles actually lessens the impact of the trades as opposed to if he was going to a team that really needed a HB.

I dunno, my opinion isn't the last word on these things or anything like that. I just think that everyone in the league had the opportunity to jump on him.. As long as ballhawk wasn't offered a higher 2nd rounder than the Chiefs' (which is pretty low) and turned it down to trade with his friend, I'm fine with it.

To be perfectly honest, I didn't (until you pointed it out) even remember who the trade had gone down between. Anyways..

Fair reasoning.

Have u ever had a back up back in a close game situation big play fumble the ball cause he sucks lol..... with thomas jones departure I'm scared to take my 2nd round pick on a rookie rb.... id rather go with rheams.... and honestly mayb I'm retarded but I sware it seemed like thomas ran so much better then charles.... jamal charles is excellent for screens and passing situations which like u siradam I love to throw the balll and enjoyed our race last season to have the top qb.... so do I need the rb no could prob use a cb but u guys are like wolves on cbs and I don't gotta chance of getting one much better then the 2 rookis I've raised since the first draft.... so he adds to my running attack hopefully

I'm listening to offers on Antonio Gates if anyone is interested. He's 96 OVR A Potential, 32 years old. Hasn't regressed at all the last couple of seasons.

I hate ray rice on the video game...... I would possibly give up charles for a first and second rd pick but again id need to hit a rb in the draft that matches charles speed and catch cus thatss wat I use him for most

Almost needs to be a unreal deal to get rid of him I would not trade him for any other back because its not that I don't like him but if I could get a good cb or lineman out of the draft with his departure it wouldbe worthwhile to get a high first second round value

Well uber I'm taking calvin copeland with my first overall pick an I'm willing to trade zeafross rheams to sprice for a 2nd rd pick unless anybody is willing to offer me anythin better that's jus all I can see me gettin out of him cuz his speed is on 88 n guys like faster running backs so let me know if its good to go! An I'm not gona leave the league siradam I'm jus picking up a rookie rb in this years draft thts y I wanna get rid of him n get some depth on my team with this draft!?

So You'd only give up your 90 rated HB for a 1st AND 2nd round pick....

Yet, me laying opposition to ONLY a 2nd round pick for an 89 OVR HB is wrong....

hmmm...I suppose i'll just silence myself now and not make comments about any trades moving forward.

Difference is speed and catchin ability... ray rice I would never trade a first round for.... charles play making ability is off the charts..... complain as u wish but its my opinion... also rheams can't catch downfall

sprice, u kinda confused me with that last post. ray rice is the same age as rheams (I think), and he's clearly better. not to mention a point faster... I get not trading charles because of play making ability but let me throw two things out there:

#1. Ray Rice is one season removed from leading the league in rushing.

#2. if all you'd be concerned about is speed, there is no shortage of it in a cpu generated draft class. also, charles as a playmaker basically means he's being used as a receiver... which there are plenty in the draft with dangerous speed.

I could care less about the trade... I just wanted charles for his speed and cuz I'm a LONGHORN 4 LIFE. I can't forget that you traded eric berry for picks and role players so i guess trying to comprehend your style of dealing players is a waste of my time

Wat I ment is I value charles way more the rheams or rice being his speed and cath so id want high value.... id never give up a first rd for either rheams or rice but being all I have is a second rd pick and ball hawk is willing to give rheams up so cheap id rather spend a second round pick on him then a rookie.....

Lol just making fun of your double post.....

And Deuce I haven't had a chance to put any time into proposing a trade for Ngata and don't think I'll get to before the draft...sorry, maybe after the draft if you're still interested.

I don't have time to read this thread now but I just wanted to check in and let everyone know we're still on for 10. I should be back around by 9-930 to do any last min prep or sign off on any trades.

Went through the thread... Have some downtime between laundry and dinner. No issue with the Chiefs-Rams deal. Pretty much what bv said. Bv, can you update your spreadsheet to reflect that trade and the eagle-jets one? Thanks

Hey guys I know I haven't been around for a while just going through some events in my personal life , I'm going to try and make the draft, I know I owe the lions a pick so I feel bad about possibly having to miss it , if you need to get in contact with me and you don't have my number let Duece know he pretty much gets in contact with me when need be or Ramesu. I'm not planning on missing any games but if I need a sub early on ill keep the league posted.

I know its late but congrads to Mog on the superbowl win over me in both leagues. I shoulda took the game in this league but shit happens I called him after the game and let him know that was his last Superbowl over me.

I wish I had time to get in this trade talk , y'all know how much I love trades lol

Cru, I hope whatever personal issues you're going through get taken care of, man. You're a good guy and from the little bit I do know about you from here and Facebook, you seem to keep a positive attitude than a lot of people, including myself. Best wishes to you in whatever troubles you are experiencing.

Just make sure to set the freaking timer for picks higher then 5 seconds like last season.

I'd like to trade Bernard Pollard SS, 79 OVR, 76 SPD, 89 POW 28 years old (80+ @ outside LB) for a late round pick any offers???

How late? I'd give up a 5th rounder for him.
HALOTI NGATA PEOPLE!!! Come on... nobody needs a DT?
I do, though it really depends on the price. If you'd let him go for a 2nd I'd be all over it.

i'd really want either a 1st or a LB, OL, or CB of comparable value... seeing as how he's 29, i could let him go for a 2nd but i'd want a player or two along with it...
i'd really want either a 1st or a LB, OL, or CB of comparable value
I'd give you Brandon Siler - MLB (82) and a 3rd.
