desklaser didn't get online yesterday and I've been out of the house pretty much all day for the past two days. I'll be around tomorrow so hopefully he'll get on and we can play

Raiders d. Colts, 24-20

Colts had the lead the majority of the game, but after the Raiders backups pretty much hurt the rest of the Indianapolis defense, Pierre Garcon started playing cornerback. JEEEEZZZZUS.

I flat out knew I wasn't going to win this game, and I let myself get flustered over this shit way too much ... I usually end up panicing and fucking up somewhere -- and that's just what I did here.

Either way, good game Doom. I'd hate to see you with your starters out there, good lord. lol

No playoffs for me. :(

Great game man. I played the whole game praying for no injuries. That one challenge where I lost the fumble, I was challenging because the refs said that the ball fell forward 5 yards when it clearly didn't. Oh well. Gradkowski had a decent game for me and I had to use him more than I would have liked.

Lol, yeah. Also it was plain as day that one of your guys fell on that ball. Another reason why I tend to dislike the randomized "Fight for the Fumble" crap. Even when they said it was Colts' ball, it shows your guy's stats at the bottom of the screen stating you had a fumble recovery. That just drives me bonkers.
 
I'm leaning towards play all my backups in the final game...

but I can still lose the division with this late season collapse that I'm having. We still dont know what the tie-breakers are?
 
I've been out of the house pretty much all weekend so i couldnt catch Desklaser but i'm on now and i see he got offfline about an hour ago. I would really like to play this game so it's not simmed since my last two games have a lil bit of meaning... my division is still up for grabs

Looks like just this game and Lions/Dolphins are left. The other two are double CPU games.
 
well, we had a time set up on saturday but he didnt get online and i had to leave after that. I'll be on til about 8 but i'm wondering if he aint on by about 7:30, would it be too much to boot him so i can play the CPU?
 
Go ahead and feel free to boot me so Deuce can play the CPU. I likely won't be able to get on Madden until late tonight anyways. So let him go ahead and play his game to make sure that it doesn't get too late for him.

I think we can probably go ahead and sim the other game, since it no longer makes any difference in terms of playoffs, with the AFC all locked up. Unless of course they're on to play it right now.
 
we're playing it now...wow..

we scheduled it for 7, i got stuck in some traffic and he's 10 minutes late...certainly doesn't make it sim-worthy...we've been in constant contact....

yeah, playoffs or not, people deserve to get a chance to play their games if the deadline hasn't passed yet. not everyone can be fighting for a playoff spot, bv!

with that said, I'm back from my mini vacation. BigAT, I can take back over whenever you can make it happen. It sounds like we'll be ready to advance in the next 30-45 minutes though with the last game in progress now.

Looks like Madden has decided to put the Ravens in front in the AFC North. The Steelers should actually be in front based on the 4th tie-breaker I think, but it looks like the Ravens will take the division assuming they both win.
 
Ugh, bad connection problems in the Redskins/Giants game. We would connect fine, the game would start up without an issue, kickoff occurred without even a bit of lag. Then, without fail, we would get disconnected as soon as it came time to select the first offensive play of the game. This happened like 4 or 5 times in a row.

The really messed up thing is, being divisional rivals, we've already successfully played against each other this season. Neither one of us remembers there being any problems that first time around.

this is, by far, the most interesting season I've been a part of. ironically, I enjoyed having every game mean something instead of having a playoff spot locked up halfway thru the season. even the tomfoolery was entertaining lol
 
Hopefully by season 2, EA will have ironed out connection issues for those of you that are having them. Knowing them, probably asking for a bit too much.

I have 3 sim losses (all due to random dcs in games) this season and that is the difference between a winning or losing season for my Pats.

I had 3 serious issues this year too with connections, yet, strangely, with you, both of our games went extra smooth with no lag or problems.

I officially suffered my first loss in fantasy football this year...it wasn't looking good in the first place (I was down by 17 and had Adrian Peterson, but my opponent had Percy Harvin). Harvin of course had a monster game...Peterson didn't have much of a chance when they were playing from behind the entire game. I had horrible luck, both Mark Clayton and Jermichael Finley went down with serious injuries early in the 1st quarter so I got 0 points from each of them. And Greg Jennings is proving to be really overrated in fantasy football...
 
I'm watching the games closely to see what happens. Lot up in the air in the AFC in terms of seeding..

I was kind of hoping to be the 5 and match up against the Steelers as the 4, considering all their injuries.. Now that it looks like the Ravens are taking the division, I'm not sure who I want.

I think I'll probably split the difference and play my starters for a half.
 
playing the CPU Bengals and the game is literally seconds from being over.... and the power goes out. Luckily, there werent any ridiculous stats that i wanted to brag about lol. Ed Reed did have a INT tho (just FYI for MasterAwesome)
 
Lol phew...asking for 2 picks from Beason in his last game is a little demanding. I was looking at Reed's stats earlier...he has what, 13 picks and 5 deflections?? It looks like he's pretty much the exact opposite of Chris Gamble for me this year. He (Reed) has something like an 82 catch rating though so I guess that isn't too surprising....and I can't really complain since I have 12 picks and only 3 deflections with Beason this year lol.

And I feel like just about every single week my game is one of the "Games of the Week"...it is quite nerve-wracking!!
