Oakland Raiders v. Houston Texans
The Oakland Raiders started off the game with 2 fumbles on back to back drives. Houston made it 10-0 quickly after connecting to Kevin Walter on a nice streak route.
From there, Oakland was able to settle into their routine. The next three Oakland drives resulted in touchdowns and it was 21-13 at the half.
Oakland opened up the 2nd half with another touchdown drive making it 28-13. Similar to their first meeting, Houston would not go away quietly. They struck back making it 28-20 going into the 4th quarter.
50 seconds into the 4th, Oakland scored again making it 35-20. Houston's next possession ended quickly as Schaub threw a costly pick to Chris Johnson. A few plays later, McFadden found the endzone for a fourth time on a 46 yard run, making it 42-20. Houston made quick work on their next drive, capping it off with a 7 yard strike to Owen Daniels. After a failed 2 point conversion, the game stood at 42-26. Oakland recovered the onside kick and was able to run out the clock, clinching their first Superbowl bid since getting trounced by Tampa Bay in 2002.
