Yup. Unless you're in the playoffs. And if you are you can still work out deals, but they won't be put through until after both teams are out.

I'm willing to trade any of mine, probably would need a king's ransom for Jackson though.

As for the draft, either time works for me.
 
Hah! I can't seem to remember how I started the poll in the first place. I was going to edit it with more options and see if that helped some people. I'm still not sure it will, but obviously the idea is to get the most people there as possible.
 
I hope there aren't any scary rookies like in my offline franchise. The Tampa Bay Bucs drafted a 6'8 260 lb running back who is impossible to tackle.

Hey Big at I just saw your post about yankees game maybe we can play our game tommorow than sorry for not being available sooner my schedule has been everywhere I'm going to go ahead and play a league.
 
My internet was at fault for that one Ram, sorry. Of all the times Comcast chooses to do temporary maintenance, of course it had to be right now when I had the lead. Ridiculous. I'm ready when you are.

Okay, seriously, how do I edit this poll? Cannot figure it out for the life of me (I checked the FAQs too). It seems we need to open up the poll options to include something for late Sunday or Monday or we're going to have at least 6 people (as of now) missing.
 
Helo fellow madden players. I am the new Bucs owner. I am looking forward to season 2 and getting the Bucs to the playoffs. I will be considering all offers for trades except for Josh Freeman. Look forward to playing you guys as the season progresses.

Welp, I suppose we now need to find another time since it's split at 7-7.

My next suggestion would be Monday at 10pm EST. It'll cut into the end of MNF, but I'm thinking it may be too late for the East Coast if we waited until after it ended. We could also try Tuesday at 10pm EST, but I feel like that's a bit too long between the Super Bowl and the draft. Thoughts?

Oakland Raiders v. Houston Texans

The Oakland Raiders started off the game with 2 fumbles on back to back drives. Houston made it 10-0 quickly after connecting to Kevin Walter on a nice streak route.

From there, Oakland was able to settle into their routine. The next three Oakland drives resulted in touchdowns and it was 21-13 at the half.

Oakland opened up the 2nd half with another touchdown drive making it 28-13. Similar to their first meeting, Houston would not go away quietly. They struck back making it 28-20 going into the 4th quarter.

50 seconds into the 4th, Oakland scored again making it 35-20. Houston's next possession ended quickly as Schaub threw a costly pick to Chris Johnson. A few plays later, McFadden found the endzone for a fourth time on a 46 yard run, making it 42-20. Houston made quick work on their next drive, capping it off with a 7 yard strike to Owen Daniels. After a failed 2 point conversion, the game stood at 42-26. Oakland recovered the onside kick and was able to run out the clock, clinching their first Superbowl bid since getting trounced by Tampa Bay in 2002.

McFadden- 14 attempts 226 yards 4 TD's

I'm sensing a pattern here... haha I don't think we'll ever get everyone. Depending on how we advance through the rest of the playoffs I'll just make the executive decision to have it either Thurs or Sun. Unless everyone starts chiming in on a time that works for everyone, after SNF? after MNF? I don't know really.
 
If Grand Cru can give me a solid time he can play today, we might be able to do the draft tonight (assuming Doom can play pretty soon after the NFC Championship is done).
 
thursday works for me... I can make myself available anytime after 5.

what about saturday... somewhere between 11am and 1pm... that way, after the draft, some week one games can get done
 
I should be able to play tonight around six thirty , my internet went out last night but ramesu is going to let me play at his house so look for me between 6 30 and 6 45 depending how long it takes to recover a gamertag.

As far the draft tonight would be to soon for a couple reasons some people that won't make it wouldn't have even got the chance to set a draft board , and I would like at least some time to look at the talent. I would rather wait a week and have it done right than to rush into it.

Hey ubernes can you repost that link to real life draft picks owed so I can start making arrangements.

Yep I should be able to play it today. Although I do have class from 5-630 pm pst.

Let's make it closer to 7. The Yankees start up at 4 today so they should be finished right around then. If it's a blowout, which seems to be the unfortunate norm for this series, we can start up earlier.
 
So 11pm est tonight and 11am est Saturday look to be on the table. I'll send out a round of PMs about it in a bit.

edit: I'm going to make the 2nd option noon est Saturday since I realize 8am for west coasters is rough. Though I really hate the idea of wasting my Saturday afternoon drafting. :/

not too happy about drafting all afternoon but I probably won't be in the draft after the third round and I'd be excited to get the next season kicked off so that would make up for it... this league is the only reason I even put madden in my 360
 
If I remember from last year, the draft doesn't take nearly as long as a fantasy draft would. What will be most time consuming is dealing with all the trades. We should probably figure out how exactly we're going to monitor the picks which have already been traded.
 
anyone interested in willis mcgahee, let me know. ideally, I'd want to package him with my first to move up in the first rd or pair him with my second rd and get a late 1st/early 2nd
