Either way, I think we sit at 13-14 good for Saturday and 1 (Hydro) potentially not good for Saturday.

Doing that draft that early on a Saturday isn't exactly fair to people on Pacific time. That means it'd start at 9 A.M. here. I already get up early Monday-Friday, and then Sunday for morning Packers games (AKA most of their games).

I vote for tonight, even though Thursday or Sunday would have been better. I need to be in this draft since I have a high pick.

I think you should probably just pick a time and go with it.

You're never going to satisfy everyone with a time, so find one that suits most people and let the few adjust. Sounds like Saturday has a lot of support.
 
Yeah, noon EST Saturday is pretty much locked up.

Saints, Rams and Browns are the only teams that can't make it as of now. 17-18 teams can make it Saturday.

edit: Looks like the Eagles are added to the can't make list.

So the draft is officially set for 12pm EST on Saturday. It sounds like we will be done with the Super Bowl tonight, so once I advance us past that you will be able to take a look at the draft class and prerank if you will not be around. I should also mention that you can draft via the online franchise website for those of you who cannot make it simply because you won't be near your xbox. I'm also pretty sure if you have an Android phone you can access the site and draft from there as well, so that's another option.

I think that should handle just about everything, but if you have any questions or if there's anything I can do to help you if you can't make the draft let me know.

From what I recall last year, drafting through the online website is actually the better way to go since it's easier to chat.

Also, please everyone keep in mind the number of picks that have changed hands, including ones from trades made prior to the league start.

ubernes - Can you repost that master list? Everyone should try and go into the draft knowing both which picks they have from other teams as well as which picks of theirs they need to give up. That way you can coordinate with the other person to make sure they pick the right player since ubernes will need to transfer them manually after the draft I believe.

Yes, I'll have it up before tonight is over. I'm really not sure what we'll do if someone can't make the draft and owes someone picks, which is why I didn't like trading picks in the first place. Worst case scenario that person owed the pick gets whoever they get auto selected and if it's not a player they need then they can hopefully use him in a trade.

Yup, that's the only way to do it. That player will at least be best player available at the time most likely.

If you post the master list I'll volunteer to be responsible for monitoring when a traded pick is on the clock and reminding the owners (hopefully a few picks in advance), assuming they're present. I can also keep track of who was picked so you can make the necessary moves after the draft.
 
Ten pm might be late for me doomtime since I still have to drive home but we can cross that bridge if we get there right now I'm just focused on the match up in front of me.
 
Another great, close classic of a game. Unfortunately I found myself on the wrong end this time around.

It went back and forth until the end, literally. Neither one of us scored more than once in a row until the final score. I had the ball with about a minute left, driving to set myself up for the game winning score hopefully. Unfortunately, Cru had a fantastic user pick. The subsequent return and a Frank Gore pass that followed setup the 49ers for the game winning kick as time expired.

Too many turnovers for me and my defense failed to capitalize on any potential big plays. Couple of balls that bounced off my defenders hands and a failure to recovery a Frank Gore fumble. -2 in the turnover department, which just can't happen (and probably didn't all season for me).

Final:
49ers - 27
Giants - 24

Great right that was probably the greatest most heart wrenching game I played in madden, great play calling displayed by both users and Big At plays some of the most disciplined football I have ever seen in madden. I often force a lot of turnovers by baiting people into passes and usering with the player I am controlling but in the three seasons I have been here it has never worked against big at and his giants, he will take the sack or scramble before he throws an ill advised pass, which I can respect. I was fortunate enough to be able to contain brandon jacobs decently. The game basically came down to that last pass which if I wouldn't have taken control would have been caught and placed big at in field goal range. Again Great, Epic game Big At.
