Lol yeah his SAC MAC and DAC are all pretty bad...I wouldn't trust his overall Accuracy rating. 97 THP and 86 ACC sound too good to be true for that guy so you know something is up. But a lot of seemingly good players have a low overall rating in this game...my kicker is 92 Power and 93 Accuracy and is rated 75. Speaking of that...I was looking closely through all the rookies drafted and I think New England got one of the nicest steals of the draft...an 81 rated running back with 97 Speed, 95 Carry, 99 Acceleration, 99 Agility...he seems pretty amazing.
 
Okay so we need subs for two games:

Steelers vs Jags
Eagles vs Cards

I just used random.org (haha literally just googled "randomizer") to put the subs we have in the order for the season. It came out as:

  1. BV
  2. ubernes
  3. MasterAwesome
  4. Cru
  5. Zurezo
  6. siradam134
  7. gregthomas
  8. venom
We'll keep this order as is for the season. So BV will take the Jags, I'll take the Cards, and MasterAwesome will take the next available sub, and so on. If more people want to play sub I'll add them to the end, more than 1 new sub and they get randomized!

How do we determine which is the 1st game and which is the 2nd? The order they are listed on the website, which I assume is the same order listed in game.

And there you have it folks.

edit: amendment to the rule...a sub cannot sub in vs a divisional opponent. he gets skipped over in that case.

Lol, I drafted Christopher Warden based on those ratings. Then I saw his Potential was an F, so I was like ehhhh.... sorry buddy, unemployment line for youse!
 
Oh and I'm interested in trading for a good TE and an 80+ DT...I have Jonathan Stewart (89 OVR) and Matt Moore (78 OVR) on the trading block...as well as possibly some draft picks.

Jets vs Texans III scheduled for tonight at 830.

Deuce beat up on me last Madden and I adjusted the following season, so hopefully I don't have to wait until Madden 12 to do the same for Rames haha.
 
hey ubernes question about the sub in for computer thing, I don't think you should be able to sub in for a computer team which is in your division, i don't know if this has been mentioned before but if its your turn and the computer is playing a member of your division, it should just goto next available. just my opinion.

Yeah, we discussed this a few pages back. Definitely should be the case.

Zurezo - Let me know when you want to play vs. the Jags. I've never used them before so I might be pretty crappy.
 
Wow, just checked my schedule.

Texans, Giants, Raiders, Chargers, Steelers.

All I needed was the Niners, Saints and Panthers and I would be facing the whole top 8 in the league, according to the last power rankings.

Well losing the turnover battle by 2 never helps. The key play of the game came in the 4th down by 2 with 4 minutes to go. Holmes fumbled it after a catch and his safety returned it for a TD. I was able to score again and had one chance to get the ball back, but I foolishly played deep and let Eric Smith cover his TE without help.

It's sort of funny because I was going to play as Harris and watch the middle, specifically that player because I think I knew Smith was out there (god knows why he was in there, he's not even listed on my CB depth chart). And instead I took over Leonhard to play further back and it cost me a chance there.

Besides those two big moments, the 3rd came at the end of the half. Again I dialed up what was probably the smart play and switched out of it. I think I was on the Texans 15 yard line with only 30 seconds or so left and I was just going to run it. It might have even been 3rd down and closer to the endzone and my first instinct was to just settle for 3 and end the half. Instead I audibled out to a pass and threw a pick. It wasn't returned but it was close enough for Rames to get into FG range after a play or 2. So within 30 seconds I not only didn't get 3, but I had 3 scored on me. It turned the game from potentially 24-10 to 21-13. Huge difference. Can't do that in these close games! GG again, Rames.

Anyone want to give me their opinions of some fantasy deals? For whatever reason I've dealt S.Moss and Torain this week in both my leagues. Torain I don't trust 100% to be a solid #2 all season and Moss is relatively hot to start the season so he's good to package with.

Trade 1
S.Moss and Torain for Moreno and Harvin
My logic: Moss wasn't seeing much time on my roster besides at the flex (I have Wayne and DeSean Jackson at WR 1, 2., This league only has 2 WR dedicated spots). With DeSean out I wanted someone with more play-making ability in Harvin. Plus Moreno's value is pretty low right now, but he looked decent vs the Jets last week in limited action so he could turn into a true #2 RB. I can't really afford for Moreno to produced less than Torain here on out, but Harvin I assume will out work Moss more often than not so that'll make up for it. Right now I'm running Ivory as my flex, but when DeSean is back and Ivory loses carries I can run out Wayne/DeSean and flex Harvin.

Trade 2
S.Moss, Torain, Josh Freeman for Romo, Colston, Hightower
My logic: Most of the same as above. His other QB is Matt Ryan so he didn't need anyone besides a quality backup back. Colston is under-performing as of late so I'm buying low on him a bit. I can afford to give up Torain more so in this league because I have Jacobs, Bush and now Hightower. And I would be running Austin, Welker and now Colston as my WRs 1-3. I would say big improvement at QB and hopefully Colston breaks out so if my RB2 doesn't perform like Torain, it won't be as noticable.
 
Love the second trade. Not as sure on the first, but it's not that bad. If Moreno stays healthy he'll be alright (I have him on my team) but the Broncos really don't run much.
 
49ers over Rams 42-14 , good game gregthomas, would have been closer if it wasn't for early mishaps.

Well on to preparing for Big At in the Big Rematch. lol, ooo yea and i lost tedd ginn for 4 weeks this sucks every year, Ted Ginn's new nickname is Mr. Glass.
 
Raiders 38, Chargers 31

Awesome game. I think about half of the picks I've thrown in this franchise have been to Doom, he never seems to drop 'em against me. Rivers had 3 today, 2 on circus catches by defenders. Definitely can't do that and expect to beat a player like Doom. Still, I'm not unhappy with the game I played since I moved the ball alright and really spread the ball around well with 4 different guys catching 6 balls (though Jackson caught none, and was the target on all three picks).

I have the latest rosters.

I wish they would just patch this and admit they have a problem. I know it is supposed to be fixed in the next update whenever that is, but I will believe it when I see it.

I have definitely taken for granted having a competent NFL quarterback. To call David Garrard cartoonishly bad would be an insult to cartoons. I can't even count the number of wide open receivers he missed in this game. Granted it was raining, but yeah, he's pretty crappy, haha.

I'm pretty happy Malcolm Floyd, Legadu Naanee and Antonio Gates are out for the Patriots Game. That gives us an even better shot of beating San Diego! Game starts at 4:15, It's gonna be a good one.

I thought Gates was still a gametime decision? I'd still bet he'll play, but he won't be 100%
 
I heard Gates was out, but I could be wrong. Either way I think if he plays he's not going to be 100%
