The Jags are already 0-1. I filled in for them in Week 1 and found them to be pretty useless, though a lot of that could be because I was completely unfamiliar with their playbook and personnel. Garrard is woefully inaccurate, even though it was raining in the game he missed several wide open receivers by ridiculous margins. Their offensive line isn't that great either, I had a tough time getting much going with MJD.

Ah okay lol sorry about that...I like that new addition :) I was always going to suggest we add that on the front page but I didn't want to make you go through that extra work. I don't know how long that's been there though...probably a while. I went ahead and PM'ed him, hopefully we'll be looking to play our game tomorrow night sometime.

Looks like Cru will be the sub. If you guys can't work out a time Mon/Tues that works for both of you then Zurezo would be next up.

I'm going to take the Jags. Sorry. I didn't realize Browns were more of a 3-4 defense and they don't have too many good trade targets to make it a good 4-3.

whats the word on picking up Free agents? I know I can pick up a CB to replace shawn springs (who retired after I picked him up last year), right? But what about other players?

probably open it up officially at the start or end of week 3. just want to make sure everyone has a chance to replace retirements and pick back up players dropped due to the draft.

I never saw a clear answer on filling out my depth chart, I have several spots without backups. I think this is due to player drops, but since the game did that automatically I'm not 100% sure who was in those spots..

fuck no. Not at launch anyway. Fable II was the most disappointing game I have ever played (and I've been playing video games a long time). I may pick it up eventually, but I'm definitely in no rush.

I will, however, be getting SW:TFUII, since I actually enjoyed the first one quite a bit.

I assume those are mostly accurate, but you can try googling another source too.

edit: So my answer is pretty much... no, you can't pick up players to fill out depth. I assume once everyone fills in the holes from retirements and pick up players dropped then that should solve all depth issues since you should have the same depth as last year.

Thanks, I'll take a look at that tonight and make sure I pick up the right players. I already picked up Strickland and Bingham since I knew they were on my team, not sure who my backup RT and RG were though..

I was thinking about it too, but with Assassins Creed: Brotherhood coming out in a month I dont see mylsef having much time to play Fable III.

Man I did the buy 2 get 1 free deal at Toys R Us earlier this month and got: Castlevania, Dead Rising 2, and Fallout New Vegas with that. I also preordered Fable III because I had a 20 dollar Amazon promotional credit that expired at the end of September so I have that coming in a couple days too. This was a pretty bad month for my wallet...I haven't even opened any of those games yet either.

Between FFXIII on and off (it's not THAT bad so far), Madden games, WoW on and off (still torn on whether I'm actually going to play Cataclysm), and new purchases such as Super Meat Boy, I'm not touching any of these new games. Not even Rock Band 3--and I was HUGE into GH2 + 3, and RB 1 + 2. My left hand, though, actually cramps up after only a couple songs on guitar...23, and I'm already screwed up D:

Saying that, I might be picking up DKC Returns at launch if Amazon does a credit, specifically $20 like they did with Other M. And I'm waiting for a price drop on RB3+Keyboard. After Fable II was a whole load of meh, I can wait for III to be $20 I think, if I even bother with it.

I really enjoyed Fable II. Definitely looking forward to III. Still haven't played FFXIII.

Also fericious1, let me know when you want to play our week 2 game. My secondary is ready to give up another 400 yards passing.
 
I see it's faults, but I like it a lot better than XII, which felt like a watered down MMO with ZERO story to me.

Speaking of watered down MMOs...god, was XIV terrible. Played the beta--terrible UI, no direction, super user unfriendly, etc...just not even worth a look. And I know XI had such a huge fanbase, and even most of them have given up on XIV at least until they fix things.

I'm still hoping The Old Republic turns out OK, but I just don't know if I trust it. I have a friend working on Guild Wars 2 and that game shows a lot of promise as well.

Also, I only paid $20 for FFXIII, and it was completely covered by my $20 Other M credit. (Which I traded in for $33.25.) I think I'm doing OK recently on not wasting too much money on vidya games...but Black Friday will probably ruin that.
 
So ubernes, what time are we advancing tomorrow? Yesterday, Eddie (Bears) said he might be able to play today, but I haven't heard back from him since. I posted earlier that we had communicated, but you didn't respond directly. As I said earlier, I will be available tomorrow to play our game most of the afternoon Pacific time, up till as late as 7:15-7:30 P.M. Eastern for a start time.
