:whistle2:k... ok. I have been spoken to by a couple people and my pride chipped in too and i have to finish out the season. I love my Panthers and it'd be wrong to abandon them cuz they cant win a game. I stuck by them thru the 1-15 and 2-14 season, so i have no excuse for not standing with them thru everything else (Madden or RL lol)
1-4 to 14-5 is entirely possible.

Anyone have any speaker advice? I'm getting sick of the poor quality of the built in speakers on my tv. Any experiences with sound bars? I don't have a lot of room right now so full surround isn't necessary though for a good price I don't mind investing in them now. I would say my price point is 75-150, without topping 200. Just something for movies and games that's substantially better than built in crap.

In the wake of ikeem smiths season ending torn rotator cuff, the titans have signed shitbum tyrone mckenzie
Kansas City @ Miami should be going down tonight.
If i don't come home in a drunken stupor...perhaps.

Drunk + Madden = not a winning combination.

But if you're going to do it against anyone, might as well be Doom, who's likely to stomp everyone anyway.

Oh, and... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Is anybody friends with cobra IRL? I pmed him yesterday asking if he could play today but I got no response.
I think i had to go the XBL route.

Pioneer is on the cheap side and sound good or if you wait best buy always throws a 5.1 setup for 300
When you blitz with a LB/CB that you have user control of.
Ahhhh. That does suck, several times against the Steelers i didn't even get a single step back in the pocket. I tried varying the snap going but it didn't work.

Doom and BV do it so I'm assuming it is ok.

I don't see why manually blitzing LBs would be a problem. Half the league does that, including me. Always have.

I typically never get sacks with that strategy actually, since I'm usually only blitzing one guy. All it helps me with is occasionally blowing up running plays in the backfield.

I mostly do it because I don't trust myself to control safeties the way most of the better players do.

Week 6: Jets @ Bills

Jets 52
Bills 28

Jets
Mark Sanchez - 25 for 37, 388 yards, 6 TDs, 0 INTs
Santonio Holmes - 165 yards, 3 TDs
Dustin Keller - 99 yards, 1 TD
Jarvaris Belton (R) - 50 yards, 1 TD

Jets Defense: 3 INT, 2 FF, 2 SCK
DROY Watch: Khaynin Stewart - 1 INT, 2 tackles

Bills
CJ Spiller - 216 yards on 11 attempts, 2 TDs
Devin Hester - 115 yards, 1 TD

Bills Defense: 2 SCK

Quite the game for Sanchez. This was a shootout in the first half. It was 21-17, Bills at the 2 minute warning, but the Jets scored twice before the end of the half to take a 31-21 lead. After that the Bills didn't get within 10 pts again. Spiller beasted the Jets run D as you can see, but he fumbled twice killing an opportunity in the redzone and another drive. After that, the Bills were forced to pass more and that turned into a tough assignment for Fitzpatrick. He had a bomb to Hester in the 3rd and a couple of good, deep throws but 3 INTs hurt and swung the game in the Jets favor for good. GG, pitfall.

The Jets go into their bye on a high note, but still just 3-3. Can they ride this hot streak through the rest of the season? Can Sanchez continue to throw as often and as well as he has lately? Time will tell!

Yes. This signing is fine because of the injuries to your safeties, but you need to post these things in the thread.

You ready?

I have to sign a replacement SS since both of mine are injured. Also, Cowboys owner, we do in fact play this week as I said so let me know about tomorrow, please.

I just played the cowboys...

I messaged the Broncos owner on xbox live when we advanced and never got a response yet, but he has been online since then. I won't be on tomorrow until late due to a Christmas party for work.

Yeah, I was looking at the Madden 12 site and it said he's my next opponent, but for week 7. Didn't realize i had a bye week. My mistake.

If you're seeing him on Netflix, it's probably his wife.

That's fine. Just make sure he's below a 72 and that you post who you add.

Why below 72? Is that a new rule? Not that I expected much to be available in the first place.

Especially with Patrick Willis!

You two were the only one's I can think of. I typically roll with my Saftey, it is usually a mistake too.

Okay, here's where the confusion comes in: I am guessing you went to player management and checked my roster. That does list him as a 72. However, my depth chart lists him as a 75 overall. So which is the real rating?

This will basically decide if I get the 74 OVR SS or a 69 OVR.

MA has done some research and is fairly certain that the depth chart is the correct ratng, not player management.
Thanks staticz. I'll still wait for commish approval just to be safe, but that's good to know.
That works.

i'm posting this before the game's even over.

IF i'm ever asked to play Doomtime again in a "league" match...

Just give him the CPU win.

No disrespect meant to doom, but it's like he's playing the computer. I could be in bed sleeping.
Well shit, Jamaal Charles is down and out for the count.
For how long?

Week 6: Dolphins @ Chiefs

Chiefs: 34
Dolphins: 0

Chiefs Defense: 1 Interceptions, 2 Sacks
Chiefs Offense: 153 Yards Passing, 1 TD / 245 Rushing Yards, 3 TD

(does this section below here even really matter?)
Miami's Defense: 1 Forced fumble, Maybe?
Miami's Offense: 136 Yards Passing/ 64 Yards Rushing Yards

Only Good news for those of you in the next 3 games for the Chiefs....
Chris Clemons broke Jamaal Charles Ribs for 4 weeks.(user hitstick)
Merry Christmas to the rest of the league.

Box score shows I had 251 rushing Yards. I can assure you this is absolutely False. Game was over in the 1st quarter.

GG Doom.

GG Fero.

I thought I was done when Charles went down. Luckily, McCluster filled in nicely, though yeah he did drop the ball once which I expected. Looks like it will be the Jackie Battle/Dexter McCluster tandem for the next few weeks.

McCluster 11 Att 117 Yds 2 TD
Jamaal Charles 6 Att 68 Yds

Moeaki had a great 85 yard quick strike catch at the start of the 3rd to seal the victory. Miles Austin also caught a clutch 49 yard bomb on 3rd down during the 3rd quarter.

Play of the day definitely belongs to Matt Cassel. A broken play designed for Dwayne Bowe resulted in Cassel stepping up into the pocket and then taking off for the endzone. 36 yard scamper for the TD. I was shocked.
