Down to 4 games. Have we heard on the Pitt v CLE game? I think it is the only one I haven't seen talked about.

SEA - 10
CIN - 3

GG Itlnstln. This is the second time we played and both have been extremely close. If not for a huge run by RRice this game probably would've went into OT.
So, who wants to make some bold playoff predictions?

NFC:
Saints over Lions
Giants over Falcons

Saints over 49ers
Packers over Giants

Saints over Packers

AFC:
Bengals over Texans
Steelers over Broncos (by a whole lot)

Ravens over Steelers
Patriots over Bengals

Patriots over Ravens

Super Bowl:
Saints over Patriots
I like a lot of this. Actually everything in the AFC but I think Baltimore will beat NE in the conference match up. And the only thing I disagree with in the NFC would be Giants over Falcons, which I think would then match up the Niners with the Packers. Either way I like the Saints out of there and if I'm looking at this right the Niners potentially upsetting the Packers in the round prior.
if I'm looking at this right the Niners potentially upsetting the Packers in the round prior.
The Niners are the 2-seed, so the earliest they could play the Packers would be the conference title game.
Assuming this is still valid (posted yesterday):
Browns and Steelers are trying to schedule our game for later tonight or tomorrow night
We should be good.

Staticz yes I'll play tonight.

NFC:
Saints over Lions

Falcons over Giants

Saints over 49ers

Packers over Falcons

Saints over Packers

Those seeds coould be wrong

AFC:
Texans over Bengals
Steelers over Broncos (Not by more than 14)

Ravens over Texans
Patriots over Steelers

Patriots over Ravens

Super Bowl:
Tom Brady gets a fourth ring after a Gostowski boot with time running out, or a qb kneeel in victory formation.

Ah yes, duh. That's what I get for just guessing randomly on seeding without thinking about who has byes. Saints have a tough road then. It's unfortunate to say, but it looks like whoever comes out of the NFC will win this one. Of course, it's anyone's game in the Super Bowl but I just like a few teams on their side as opposed to 1 at best on the AFC side. The Broncos and Bengals getting in doesn't help that either.

The NFC definitely has the stronger teams. Assuming their representative is either the Packers or the Saints, they will be the favorite. New England is the only team I think could give them a tough game. The Steelers (particularly if Big Ben isn't 100%) and the Ravens don't have the offense to keep up with those teams. I don't care how good the Ravens' D is, I'd have a hard time envisioning Joe Flacco outdueling Brees or Rodgers.

dont rule out big ben and the steelers guys although i hate to say it becuz i fuckin hate that fucking team more than anything but i think that can make it to the superbowl

its either the pats or steelers for the afc
and the saints or packers
either way i cant help but think the nfc wins this superbowl for sure doesnt matter the team they will win it
but my biggest bet would be on steelers vs saints
saints win 35-21

Although i dont want thius to happen, I actually think the Texans will beat the Bengals (Via Arian Foster)

In which case I think the Patriots will have a much easier going at home against Pittsburgh than we did earlier this year.

Ravens Vs. Pats will be a bitch.

NFC really is too tough to say, after last week, I don't think it's hard to imagine the Lions beating the Saints.

Well, that's the issue. The Packers/Saints don't have the best defenses but I don't think either of them are close to as bad when it comes to their secondary in comparison to the Pats. I know at least for GB their run D is their biggest issue and I'm sure they'd rather see the Pats than say the Ravens with Ray Rice + that defense versus getting into a shootout with Brady vs their pass D. Either way, I think whatever AFC team comes out is going to have a tough time either keeping up or containing those 2 offenses.

The Steelers have looked really bad to end the season. That 49ers game weas brutle to watch. They scored 3 points, I know San Fran is nasty but you ain't even gonna beat Tebow scoring 3.

i agree that the nfc could go either way hell the lions could end up in the superbowl somehow even the 49ers with that defense i remember the bucs vs raiders superbowl and well lets just say defense wins chamionships so its hard to say who could win this superbowl so many amazing teams out there from both sides but the nfc is going to be the most interesting in my opionion. i think most would agree with that statement

Green Bay gave up more yards through the air (and overall) than the Patriots this season. Both were middle of the pack in terms of scoring defense (Pats 15th, Pack 19th). Both have terrible defenses, but it's not fair to say that the Packers defense isn't as bad. It's as bad. You could argue the Packers have better defensive players, and I'd tend to agree, but that doesn't really change the fact that over a full season they were just as inept on D as the Pats were.

GB did force more turnovers though (4, it looks like) and turned it over less themselves. Either way, yes they are both bad defenses but I think Rodgers (with perhaps the better offense) would have an easier time moving the ball on a (perhaps slightly worse) D than vice versa.

Packers/Raiders finished up earlier. Both teams had 5 turnovers, and I nearly had another that could have cost me the game when I accidentally lateraled at the Oakland goal line and nearly lost the fumble.
Can someone contact Zurezo and see when they're playing?
I went ahead and emailed him already. I'm hoping to get my next game in tonight :D
Woodhead carves up the cardinals, thatta boy
Weird, I could have sworn I read a bunch of times in here that the Vikings were useless without AP.

this game is one for the books
Vikings 34 Cardinals 28 OT

the game started off very slow for both teams as the first Quarter went scoreless.
but once that second quarter hit it was game time for these teams.
Each team scoring equal amounts of points in the last three quarter of the game and sent them to overtime.

The Cardinals Stats

QB Drew Brees went 18 for 27 for 280 yards with 2 TDs and 2 INTs

RB Adrian Peterson 11 Attempts with only 51 yards but 2 TDs

WR Early Coucet 9 Rec with 112 yards and 1 TD

WR Andrew Hawkins 3 huge Rec for 127 and one amazing TD catch

Vikings Stats

QB Christian Ponder 8 for 13 with 143 yards 2 TDs with 1 INT

RB Danny Woodhead 14 Attempts 176 yards and 3 TDs 1 Rec for 10 yards and 3 big broken tackles also had the game winning TD in OT that was 69 yards

TE Visantha Shiancoe 6 Rec for 100 yards 2 TDs

amazing game LV was really fun and exciting as well

lol they are but i got lucky but to help the league finish out the season until we find replacements i would be willing to take over the vikings as a secondary team as long as u keep me updated when the password gets changed i could even do the same for the bills as well if superstar shows back up be i enjoy playing alot and with these extra game could give me alot more to learn before the next season starts to help get the jags where i want them to be let me know how u feel about this.

Zurezo said that he has been home for 3 hours and ready to play but hasn't heard back from UMX. UMX emailed him earlier today but Zurezo was at work, sounds like things just aren't lining up quite right.
Not sure if he posted in here yet, but Superstar is back Friday. He had to skip town for a personal matter.
in that case i could take over the bills then till we find a replacement if need be

Yea Great Game, Cardinals lose yet another game where they have the ball with a chance to win in the 4th. That Woodhead running was really impressive. It's been awhile since I've seen him used that great. Some of those draw runs reminded me of playing with the little dude in Madden 11. It was actually fun to watch.

Freaking Breesy boy decided to throw up 1 1/2 meatballs for 2 Int's in the second. And DVO took care of business in my territory both times.

He was shutting the run down but other than those 2 INT's Brees was tossing it around well and moving the ball.

Hawkins is silly, I should have saved his TD catch but it was too ridiculous.

Most of my losses this season have been pretty close and if I can get 1 or 2 less turnovers a game I think I'll be taking a lot more games down. Can't wait for Fitzy to come back next season. The other recievers are getting it done, but that guy is irreplacable in an offense.

No one's taking over the Bills until next season.
Let's get this show on the road!!
We've never advanced two days in a row that I can remember. I worry it was like a no hitter, and we all jinxed it by talking about it so much.

There goes the no-no. Zurezo usually answers within 20 mins or so, so I think UMX should be able to reach him pretty quickly.
I'm working on getting the game with Pittsburgh set up now. I'll be around awhile though I'm not feeling well so I probably can't wait too long.
Did you e-mail him?

Ravens always find a way to choke during the postseason though, so we'll see.

He's the one who originally said tonight, so it's a bit surprising he's not around. If you do go to bed, can you drop first in case he comes around tonight and we can have someone sub?

Yeah, really I probably shouldn't be the player having to sub out, but the Steelers have more to lose so I don't mind. Though I suppose the Chargers may want to see the game played. Well, maybe not with how I play, heh.

I'll stay around another 30 minutes or so at least.
