are u guys doin a viking sub? didnt someone say superstar is out of town till friday
I think we probably still should have a sub, yeah. Not sure if Superstar will be back before the deadline.

DVO, can you sub for them again?
I've beaten two of the top 3 in power rankings. I'm coming for you Doom
play mistake free and u have a shot..... he capitalizes on mistakes

Hey Staticz, my Pm's (and CAG in general) are not working. What time would you like to play tonight? 8:30 PM EST is best for me.

After 10est. We're going out tonight so I don't think I'll be home until then.
Titans-Panthers just kicked off and already, the Panthers' season is summed up in one terrible play...
Don't you die on me!
Don't you die on me!
well... with Chris Gamble gettin burnt by Kenny Britt, and AJ Green fumbling, i think we're walkin towards the light right about now.

imma try to see if i can get mog and ballhawk on to play dvo let me know wen u can play ill see if mog can reach damailman ....could be quicker then pms

dropped passes by the best WR on the team.... missed FGs... i wish i was able to see season 3... i hate going out like this...

so apparently, Kenny Britt is faster than Chris Gamble? i'm so thru wit this game. As soon as i get week 17 played, i'm trading this shit in

Hey sorry guys my Internet was out all last night and it's still out this morning. I'm on my phone right now. I'll join again tonight and set up my game.

shoulda known this season would be shitty when Cam only progressed 4 points, and a rookie CB with A pot who started the whole year, and came up with 6 INTs didnt progress at all... my run defense was completely non existent this season... which explains why i have the #1 pass D -- nobody had to throw the ball lol. Hopefully, Carolina picks up some useful people in the draft and i come back to a much improved team. i labored thru the last 6 games or so and for most of them, i probably actually played three downs in the fourth on D. GB and Ballhawk, i'm lookin to end the season on a good note so yall better come to play but dont be surprised if my defense just gives yall whatever u want...who knew Ray Rice fuckin up my D in game 1 would leave these mofos heartless for the rest of the season... smh

Staticz and BSETI... i can assure u that the games against u were not the norm for me. I hope yall are back for '13 cuz I owe yall a real game. ;)

That works for me, look for me on X-Box live around 10:30-11:00 PM EST.

Kenny britt is a beast. Its not all about speed. Titans move closer to clinching a bye. A win over the chargers should do it.
Doom, are you still planning to do an awards update? Or should I take a crack at it?
I was thinking because there was so much time left for changes to be made in the race, that I would wait a couple more advances before I put up the nominees.

3 games is still plenty of time. I know you're eager to see Ross on the list though. :D By all means go ahead, but the nominees and awards I still plan on handling. I also need more help thinking of additional awards.
Ross on is the list
Fixed that for you. ;)

I've never won one of these things before, you bet I'm eager, haha.

no argument here on Kenny Britt's ability as a WR... all i'm saying is he outran Chris Gamble on a few separate occasions... i'd understand if i jammed him and Britt got off of it or somethin... but he just flat out burnt Gamble and i know Gamble's speed is higher than Britt's. I'm not sure about acceleration. I'm not gonna lose sleep over that tho cuz it's not like that was what did me in... it's been the same problems all season. Not creating turnovers, and not stopping the run game.

At this point, it's between Ross and Dallas Strong. Will be fun to see how these last 3 games play out.

Ross has 750 more yards and 7 more TDs right now once you factor in his receiving stats. I have a hard time believing anyone is catching him, but we'll see.
Already rolling into season two so we won't have time to vote. I just picked who I felt was best deserving of each reward. Congrats to all nominees and winners and congrats on another successful season! In the interest of time, I'm going with 5 players per category so sorry to those who got nomination snubs.

MVP
Sorry Sprice, it's Jamaal Charles. I don't go for individual achievements, but it's hard to argue with those numbers. 3100 yards and 40 TD through 14 games will be tough to replicate.

Offensive Player of the Year Nominees

4. Michael Huff 31 TCK 12 INT

5. Sherrod Martin 29 TCK 11 INT 2 FF

Defensive Player of the Year
Ray Lewis- While Delmas and Edwards were very impressive, 17 INT and 7 FF in addition to 53 tackles is very impressive for that old man.

Offensive Rookie of the Year Nominees

1. Colin Kapernick 115 of 250 2967 yds 197.8 ypg 27 TD 21 INT 90.9 QBR

5. Greg Little 38 rec 1046 yds 27.5 ypc 87.2 ypg 7 TD

Offensive Rookie of the Year
Daniel Thomas- Miami established a run game? What? A sign of good things to come for the Miami Dolphins. Thomas had an excellent season.

Defensive Rookie of the Year Nominees

1. Von Miller 43 TCK 6 Sacks 2 INT 1 FF

2. Aldon Smith 26 TCK 9 Sacks 1 FF

3. Demarcus Van Dyke 21 TCK 6 INT

Superbowl XLVI

Chiefs 14 Panthers 12

Superbowl MVP- Dwayne Bowe- 3 rec 144 yds 1 TD

The epic collapse of the Chiefs almost became a reality in a defensive slugfest.

Nothing went right all day including the running game. Charles managed just 71 yards on 20 carries. Matt Cassel threw a horrible pick to Jon Beason on our first drive of the game which resulted in a Panthers FG.

After regaining some of their composure, the Chiefs managed to march down the field and take a 7-3 at the start of the 2nd quarter. After a Carolina punt the Chiefs again took over looking to put more points on the board. On a 3rd and 11 from their own 11, Cassel rolled out in a very Favre esque way uncorked a bomb to Dwayne Bowe in between 3 defenders for an 89 yard touchdown.

The Panthers cut it to 14-6 before the half.

The whole second half was a chess match. Seemed like every time I got the ball, I'd go 3 and out. Charles runs on 3rd and 1 or inches = Stuffed.

The Panthers gameplan was nearly perfect. They were able to drive late in the 3rd quarter and Cam threw a perfect pass to Steve Smith for a 9 yard TD. However, they failed to convert the two point conversion.

With the score 14-12 in the 4th, the momentum was completely slipping away. Again the Chiefs were stuffed on 3rd and short and punted it away.

The Panthers salted down the game clock to around the 2:30 mark on the ensuing drive, but were forced to punt shy of the 50.

I was able to grind the clock down to under 20 seconds before punting it back. The Panthers had no remaining timeouts. With Cam looking to lead the Panthers on a game winning drive, time became a factor. They lined up 4 wide and Cam threw a strike to Gettis (or Lafell) and the clock expired before he could get out of bounds.

Chiefs hold on in a nailbiter. Had I not been able to improve my passing game, I would have lost this game easily. It still felt like a loss to be honest because Deuce's scheme had me pinned and I had absolutely no momentum in the 2nd half. 3 and outs hurt my feelings.

Incredible game though.

First game all season the Chiefs failed to force a turnover and failed to score a point in the second half.
Here was the awards post.
BV has spent more time campaigning for Ross than all the Republican candidates combined.
The man has a family to feed, he needs those incentive dollars.
How about:

Most improved team
As long as we give it a team which had the same owner both years. Not really fair to give it to a team like the Titans. :D

Definitely would be the Eagles or the Dolphins, who had the top 2 picks last year and have been much more competitive this season.
How about:

Most improved team
Best draft
I can definitely use these.

If anyone else has ideas feel free to chime in
Greatest fall from grace award: Jets
Panthers made the Super Bowl in season one.

We should do Pro Bowl rosters too.

Speaking of improved teams, that is probably the biggest disappointment about this season for me. I started off 2-0 and then couldn't win anything. Losing Sanders though for 8 weeks really hurt my gameplan. I'll be lucky if I get any more wins, but my 3 or 4 does still seem more impressive because at least the games were close.

I did have a nice draft though. Sanders has been awesome when playing, Dyer is great, and Watson my DE is good too.

I'm very pleased with my draft class, especially considering I only had 4 picks. Ross has obviously been a world beater, but my SS Jonny Kolhausen leads my team in tackling - those two guys were picked #29 and #30. My rookie MLB Darian Wheeler (2nd round) has started every game and been solid in the middle of a vastly improved run defense. And WR Darius Holmes (4th round) leads the league in punt return yards.

i think forte should be considered as MVP also ever since i made the forte move my QB rating has gotten a whole lot better

Did you move him to WR? I must have missed that.
Forte will definitely be considered. I don't see a unanimous winner at this point. Still plenty of time though.
Will Charles get Matt Flynn'd because of the three games he missed when you scarcely missed a beat? ;)

 We'll see what happens! I do look forward to seeing Blount's progression in the offseason. I'm going to have to create a scheme in the so Charles and Blount are always on the field.

Also, what does everyone think about guys like Jason Witten who has put up outstanding numbers but his team still sits at 2-11?

That topic comes up alot in the real world too. MVP material? Definitely a nomination, no question.
