I don't need to gather evidence, people have seen you shake/nano blitz, you have heard enough of it, to say it is chicken shit without proper evidence is absolutely childish, your defense wouldn't stand in court with all these testimonies.

There are about 5 different guys moving, shifting, and calling audibles to different blitzes. I don't do any of that. I take control of one guy, and the rest of the defensive play is untouched. There are plenty of other nano blitz videos on youtube. Not any of them bares even a passing resemblance to how I control my linebacker.

everyone whos played you knows what it is im talking about, its bush league shit. you will never see it in the nfl, cuz its for video games. i know your not doing exactly whats happening in the video, but its the same concept. the o line doesnt know who to block cuz ur shaking side to side like a crackhead. its bush league. yea i play with the MLB every single play basically, but i do not do what you do. i havent seen anyone else in the league do what you do. i dont care if it gets banned or not, i wont do it. i commented on widows original statement this morning and it blew up. i just thought it was funny how statics complains about dropping a DL and its banned instantly. neither of them are unstoppable techniques, but if ur going to ban dropping a DL? what you do is the same thing if not worse.

The relevance to what you do is shifting the linebacker side to side pre-snap. The only difference is the number of guys moving at once.
I don't think there is a "speed boost" per se but, again, it is very difficult (nearly impossible) for the run-blocking O-line AI to handle a usered linebacker who is moving full speed at the snap.
But, if the burden of banned = clearly demonstrates advantage, why can't GPNinja or anyone else move the lineman however they see fit if it doesn't provide a "clear advantage"?

I spend WAY too much time involved with this league to see ANY league members bashing another for his style of play.
This will end, Now. Please. There's CONSTRUCTIVE ways to discuss a situation, and then there's the shit-slinging that has gone on thus far in this thread today.

Now, onto the topic at hand. I've played bvharris 4 times so far this season, and multiple other times throughout this leagues time. (i've been here for 3 years) What he's doing is NOT a nano by any sense of the word.
Yes, it's all-out freaking frustrating,(Because he's so good at it)....but it's not cheating, nor is it glitchy. I can name 4 or 5 other people in this league who use the exact same tactic. I'm one of those (i've adopted it, i've also learned it helps me "snap" towards the direction the balls going to go more efficiently)..... We're all getting old, our reflexes aren't what they used to be....In my opinion it just helps me "respond" to the playcall faster, rather than the signal going from my brain saying "Oh shit, he hiked the ball, now which way do i hit my stick"...... Shifting left and right 2-3 feet with the linebacker isn't illegal, nor should it be illegal, and if we're going to start banning this, you might as well ban ALL PRE SNAP movements. Good luck.

Has BV ever been to the superbowl? Does he lose games? Seriously guys...the dude has 7 sacks this season, 35 last season, and 28 the season before that. He's middle of the road. He's not leading the lead in sacks, winning every game, and winning the superbowl year after year. Seriously, Back off. Learn how to handle bv's "shifts"... (there's a very easy way to out maneuver him, btw.)
The summary: Let's not have a witchhunt for 1 Person when other guys in the league do the EXACT same thing. Chill out, cool Off. This is a game. I think we all need to take a step back and remember that one important fact.

I don't think that's the only difference: I also don't audible or shift the d-line as part of the play, which seems to happen on those nano/shake things OG was referencing. We'll have to agree to disagree on that point.

I agree with that to a certain extent, but I can personally attest that it is hardly a foolproof system. It definitely lets me react and read the play better, including finding holes in the line, which is the point. I've never seen any evidence that it creates holes in the offensive line.

Because staticz posted evidence from his actual game, discussed it like an adult (which you are doing, much to your credit), and explained how it sucked his blockers up past the LOS. Based on that, and that uber and I seemed to agree on it, a ruling was made. I'm willing to revisit it if there's a compelling argument made for why it shouldn't be disallowed.
I have no issue with people discussing this. I plan to look into the stats that you suggested and we'll see if there's anything to it. You've brought it up before and you have always been polite about it. We disagree, but you've never been disrespectful, and I appreciate that. (EDIT: Forgot the never, lol)

I haven't lost track of it. I plan to do the research Ramesu suggested tonight and see if there's anything to it. I'm good at defense, but I know for a fact I'm not better than a lot of people, so if there really is a higher rate of guys getting tackles for loss on my team than others, then maybe there's something to it.
