Are you able to check with them?

If they've got it scheduled for early tomorrow we'll wait, otherwise I think ubernes meant for us to advance.

--
Denver's horrific season continues as they fall to a woeful 3-8 on the season. Much earlier, the prospects for the season seemed better when they valiantly fought and lost closely to league juggernaut KC and defeating Cleveland to reach 2-2. After that, though, the bye week stifled the momentum of the team and they've lost 6 out of their last 7. While their first set of three losses were competitive, the win over the Bills was the last game that was positive for the Denver faithful. Following the benching of prodigal son Tim Tebow, the organization was hopeful Kyle Orton would play more like Tebow did earlier in the season. Unfortunately, in a theme that Broncos fans are sick of, the Denver QB had a sub-50 completion percentage and threw six picks.
--

Not much to say. I don't feel like I did that poorly with Orton, but mailman intercepted every off-target pass, it felt like. I don't know what to do, I feel like I've hit a wall, and I'm t best stagnant and at worst regressing. Like, I started off 5-1 in the JV League and finished 9-8. Ugh.

gg mailman
I have been there man (currently there, actually), it isn't easy. I was hoping the switch to Orton would work for ya too. As stupid and simple as it sounds, we just got to find a way to minimize our mistakes and control the flow of the game more from the outset.

I mean, I've tried to switch up playbooks, and practice them. I lost games with the Green Bay playbook, so I switched to New England and the Multiple D for this one, after practicing in ranked matches. If I could just stop the run and be better at running, I'd be set. Oh well.
Ninja your inbox is full, but whatever time 12:00 noonPST is in CST, lets play then.
That would be 2 PM CST ;)

Hmm that will be 2 so I might be busy idk but well go for it.

Hoping to play Cru in the afternoon tomorrow. I just PMed him but I'll text him once I wake up if I don't hear. Jets need to keep rolling on through these NFC games.

Hey guys, just to let you all know, I'm gonna be moving over the next couple days. Chances are I'll be MIA until Tuesday, so in case I can't link up with my opponent for next week, I'm cool with a sub.

We've advanced.

I just realized I could actually clinch the division this week with a win and a Jets loss (even if I lost my remaining games and he won out, I'd still get in on conference record).
Seems like we have 1 or 2 sim games every week now.
That doesn't seem like too many. We're being stricter with our deadlines, which I think is a good idea given where we're at in the franchise.

Given that the league is still full, I fully expect us to be able to play at least one more season after this one. I've been very impressed with how we've maintained our enthusiasm. :D

Woahhh my guy won a weekly award? Nice! Almost makes up for the loss :)

I started using it on my third drive, right after I threw a pick six. And now that you mention it it's a little annoying when you send me a message about no huddle on the third or forth play I'm in it. I'm allowed to use it, and I did.

Then you scored 21 consecutive points and I couldn't stop your offense so I had no choice but to use it.

Rams 35 - Cardinals 21

Good game Ninja, I haven't been passed on like that in awhile, good stuff.
Ok lv im definitely calling you out all your doing is no huddle the the whole time...
There's nothing wrong with the no huddle unless someone is running it every single play, which doesn't sound like the case.

ok well i PMed the packer aka matt young waiting for response i saw his last fews game have either been simmed subbed or hard to schedule so im just letting everyone know i pmed him very early so i dont have to get my game simmed if him and i cant work something out

Pats over the Bills 10-7. Something about the Bills brings out the sloppiest, crappiest play I'm capable of. The driving rain didn't help either. Full write-up in a minute.

New England Patriots 10 - Buffalo Bills 7

The Bills visited Foxborough in what certainly looked like a mismatch on paper and then proceeded to give the Patriots everything they could handle over 60 minutes.

The Bills scored first, with Spiller ripping off a long touchdown drive on the first series. The Patriots were plagued by turnovers in the first half, with Brady throwing a pick at the goal line (his first since Week 5) and Ross coughing up a fumble. The Patriots only managed to gather a FG in the half, and the Bills lead at the break 7-3.

The Patriots finally found the endzone midway through the 3rd, with Ross scampering 10 yards for a score. The Bills drove to the 40 but stalled and tried a field goal, which was well short. Darius Holmes gambled and returned it, but it didn't pay off as he was tackled at the 15. The Patriots were able to run down the clock however, and then came the key moment in the game. Up 10-7 with 4th and 3 on the Buffalo 17, the Patriots figured that if they kicked a field goal, the Bills could still win with a touchdown. The Ravens had no timeouts left, so the Pats elected to go for it, converting on a pass to Gronk (on which he was concussed). They were then able to kneel out the clock for the win.

Brady was 6 of 8 for 132 yards, 0 TDs and 1 INT. (I'm not giving him too much crap on the pick, since the play lagged)

Fitzpatrick was a dreadful 3 of 13 for 65 yards, 0 TDs and 1 INT.

Cobie Ross carried 25 times for 144 yards and a TD, though he did have a costly fumble. Because of that, Green-Ellis received a lot of work down the stretch and carried 9 times for 40 yards. Lousaka Polite also had a rare carry for a first.

Spiller carried 8 times for 82 yards, though most of that came on his long TD run.

Roddy White had 3 catches for 98 yards to lead the Patriots.

Jonathon Hammonds had 2 for 47 to lead the Bills.

The Pats sacked Fitzpatrick twice and picked him once (Kohlhausen), while Shawne Merriman got both a sack and a FF for the Bills.

Patriots escape move to 11-1, while the Bills fall to 1-11.

gg man (even though you're not on CAG, lol). It's really surprising to me that he hasn't won more, he's played me tough twice. Definitely forced me into a tough call on the 4th-and-3, but I think I made the right choice there. I definitely didn't play very well in this one, I'm very glad to escape with a win.

Thankfully Gronk won't miss any time, which would have sucked since he was injured on the last play.

My games haven't been hard to schedule. I was subbed for in 1 game because I moved and my internet wasn't hooked up on the scheduled date. I made it known that I had hockey games all weekend. I can play tomorrow in the afternoon Pacific time or otherwise after I get back from the game which starts at 5 P.M. Pacific.
im ready for 10 more seasons... also anyone wanna do a mlb league? headsup bseti is a beast at homeruns
If MLB2K ever approached The Show in terms of quality, I might get it. It's yet to happen though.

Yea its not the greatest game but it is a baseball game. The online play isn't that bad....me n sprice have been playin on strikes only its pretty fun. I donno bout a league, but I do think a ttournament with 3 game series would be sick.

2k games suck... they are all about sales and not thr actual product. They ruined nba last yea, but it doesn't matter how awful their nba is as long as jordans on the cover they will sell. And I mean they need to give awway a million dollars in order to get people to buy mlb. I wish EA would grow a pair n bring back mvp baseball and nba live

NYG - 35
CIN - 10

Giants even up to 6-6 and keep their slim playoff hopes alive.

GG HotItInStln, I feel bad for the Bengals with all their injuries. They didn't get any breaks at all from the Madden gods, but kept with it all game and played like a true baller.

They don't have the assets that EA does, so they can't dump 100's of millions on their games.

That's why they should hang up the cleats n let EA take over, nhl and madden shit all over nba and mlb its not even close. 2k has always had cool features, just the gameplay has always sucked and that's really all that matters. Madden and nhl sell their gameplay, 2k sells features like playin with legends or winning a million. They know their game sucks so they focus on stupid shit. Like making the face of every player perfect. Or making stadiums and arenas pefect. Pisses me off. I might just go buy a ps2

BSETI you're crazy. 2k11 was one of the best basketball games ever made. Madden has been the same for at least 3 years...not to mention NBA Elite (bwhahaha couldn't even build a demo)

I'm impressed, I've never seen someone try to defend EA Sports this was definitely a first.
