i asked him of hed trade him and thats wat he wants for his backup so its good enoigh for me

That's good to hear, DVO.

As for the trade, I don't think that's even at all but we'll see what the consensus is. Look at the package Tebow just netted though, at this point he's probably a similar value to Ponder.

like i said i asked he said 3rd and i jumped... hes a lil diff from tebow being that he has a 92 ovr qb ahead of him... a 3rd is a lil cheap but if hes a bench guy as he is im all for it... also tebow is a run first qb thats h mog overpayed to get him

I don't know if i really have a say in trade's. But if I ever didn't agree with a trade it would be this one I think sprice need's to give more for ponder. A 3rd round pick is like basically trading a overall 70ish if that c pot for a basically starting quaterback. But just my thoughts on it.

Yea but just cause that is all the Vikings want for him, doesn't instantly make it fair, but Ponder was a 1st rounder, what 6 years before where we are now, and I think he has sat through all of the seasons?

So a 3rd isn't that crazy.

i can see where ur coming with ur reasoning of him coming so cheap and im all about not making a big deal about peoples trade but i think it shouldnt be a 3rd rounder. i say if u change it to a second i think i could handle that with the reasons u have provided

i would add mayb a lower depth chart player..

Agree with the above comments. I know they're not exactly similar, but with Tebow, in addition to a third I got a backup QB and a decent corner and Ponder is, while very different, a better quarterback. I think this deal needs some reworking.

ill play with stanton before i give up a second... ill talk to him... like i said a third is what he said so i jumped... only thing i dont agree with tho he is worth more then a 3rd in reality... no ones jumping for him and hes a bench warmer... lowers his worth

If they'd offered him to me, I'd give a 2nd for him without blinking.

You can't take his value down just because he was on the bench uber got turned down when he said that about best also superstar played ponder

For sure. I paid a hefty price for Freeman and he was riding the pine in Tampa.

hey just curious. the bears traded for brandon marshall and only gave up to two 3rd round picks.
but in this league he went for the number 1 pick and the number 33 pick. i feel like i was screwed over i even got the older brandon marshall and paid more i feel like fero owes me something back right ;)

yea but your video game version of marshall didnt punch a woman in the face

Wow can't believe anyone was even contemplating a 3rd round pick for Ponder being anywhere in the realm of fair lol. A 2nd rounder isn't even fair. I get that a 3rd is all HE asked for, but that doesn't mean it's gonna get approved in here. Any player drafted in the 1st round of the latest NFL draft with 3 years of experience and progression under his belt is a young solid starter at this point on most teams. Again, who cares if he's the Vikings' #2 QB...that doesn't make his value in general any lower. Not that it would matter that much since sprice already has Stafford...but we definitely shouldn't be passing any trade like this to the guy who just won the superbowl lol. The whole point is to avoid stacking teams, especially (in my opinion) to the best players in the league. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like their trades should get a little more scrutiny than others. I'd be more willing to let a lopsided trade slide (as long as it's not TOO bad) if it's between two committed members who might not quite make the playoffs every season, as long as they both like the trade.
We should/should have put together a CAG NCAA bracket.
no need KU jayhawks win it all

ya i know. bracket comps. take more than just who u think will win its based off all teams all the way thru. but the only things that matters to me is KU brings home the title
So is Zurezo booted? He hasn't been on in 11 days apparently.
Yes, I think that's the only real option at this point. He knew what the situation was.

i wasnt fighting with u guys about it but if a can get a solid backup/starter till stafford is back for a 3rd rounder im not sayin no... its just gonna have to be the drew stanton show sincr hes all i got.... still in the process of getting sidny rice league mvp for all u haters sayin hes not elite status... this makez it difficult

My bracket wound up with Gonzaga in the Final Four. Of course, at that point I picked them to win it all, on sheer sentimentality.

I think they could give Ohio St a scare, but even WVU will be tough. My Final 4 is now Kentucky, Michigan State, Kansas and Ohio State. Fairly boring, but I get creative in the earlier rounds. I had Missouri, UNC and Florida State in and out of my Final 4, but I think I'm happy with where I'm at now even though I'm not a big fan of the Big 10, at all.

FSU is going to lose to either Gonzaga or OSU. My bracket has a moderate amount of upsets, although a Gonzaga run would obviously add more. My most random upset pick was Ohio over Michigan. Also surprised myself by not picking Belmont, haha.

Florida St could honestly lose to the Bonnies, which is why I backed away from them. I like Ohio over Michigan. Not as random as you think!
I'd be interested in taking over Pittsburgh.
Done and done. That was easy enough. BV, can you get him the details whenever you can? I assume tomorrow AM/afternoon.
I'd be interested in taking over Pittsburgh.
So now I'm the Packers in this league and the Steelers in the other, while you're the Steelers in this league and the Packers in the other. Crazy!
Is this right? Turner had 239 yards on his own, I had 260+ with Peterson. This seems to be incorrect.

Also, I broke top 10!
Says you had 164 with Peterson.
Says you had 164 with Peterson.
Oh, guess I was thinking of a different game...lol

Also doesnt explain why under Rushing the Falcons are nowhere on there...

Bucs vs Bears is moved to tom. we keep getting disconected and one time it said it kicked him for something like excessive grieving or something stupid like that.

I felt like I was holding my own in the games the first game Tebow got sacked 3 times by clayborn

O well maybe I can put him on his back a few times tom.
Is Zurezo still the Steelers owner?
No. Pitfallharry is going to be taking them over.
looking for an average qb high accuracy.... 3rd rd pick?
If you're just looking for a stop-gap, Matt Hasselbeck is available. He's pretty old now of course, but still has decent accuracy.
