I'm already on, we've been sending Xbox Live messages back and forth but agreed to play at 10 EST to give Uber a chance to boot.

Got another trade for consideration!!! Not so much a blockbuster this time...

Ravens agree to send:
-TE Ed Dickson - 24 years old, A potential, 72 OVR
-4th round pick

Lions agree to send:
-TE Brandon Pettigrew - 26 years old, A potential, 81 OVR

There's no doubt Dickson is my favorite target in the passing game...but I like to run the ball as well and he freaking sucks as a blocker. I'm willing to downgrade a bit at speed and catching to get a huge boost in blocking from my TE. Like I told sprice: Dickson is 2 years younger and an A potential, so by the time he's Pettigrew's age they should be roughly the same OVR. The 4th round pick is to make up in the meantime for the current discrepancy in their overalls. I hope this isn't too controversial of a trade lol.

Ed Dickson: 45 RBS, 55 RBF, 42 PBS, 52 PBF
Pettigrew: 75 RBS, 64 RBF, 68 PBS, 58 PBF

I haven't actually been paying attention to Dickson's blocking skills during the game...but I'd imagine with a RBS of 45 and PBS of 42, any semi-decent linebacker or lineman will bulldoze right over Dickson.

Has anyone gotten a chance to try out QB Sneak after the patch was released today? I've literally never used QB sneak once in a single game of Madden '12 so I wouldn't have a good basis to compare it to...but if someone else has tried it before and after the patch and can give some insight to whether it's fixed or not...that'd be helpful so we can address whether or not to revoke the ban on QB Sneaks.

Most boring game ever....

Edit: we need to add clock run off if people are going to milk the clock from the opening drive. ::yawnnnnn:: gg, man but I think I had more excitement filing my taxes haha.

Greene fumbles in OT to give the game away but I had more than enough chances to win it so I'm not blaming him. Jets stunk it up.

Edit2: Just to be clear, I don't fault you for doing it. Your strategy seemed to worked as you had the chance at game-winning FGs twice and before that pick in, I believe, OT you may have had a third shot at it. I've always preferred long quarters but with time run off so that it evens out in the long run but doesn't subject the users to clock watching.
3 games left!
Pretty solid for a Tuesday. Obviously Thursday is obtainable, but if we finish tomorrow all the better. Good job, all.

Cru, Rames and Matt Young, what's the status of your games?

It seems morale was low today in Arizona where the players, shocked by talks off management shipping out QB Kevin Kolb and CB Patrick Peterson, have apperantly given up on their team and their fans.

A horrible display the likes this writer has never seen took place on 10/18/2011, a day that will live in infamy.

The St. Louis Rams came in and mopped up any shred of morale and cohesiveness this Cardinals unit may have ever showed.

200+ Rushing for Steven Jackson

0-8 on third down for the Kolb and the Cards

0-3 on fourth down after the starters were pulled and Skelton tried to give his devoted Arizona fans one sinle point.

(1-6) Rams defeat (2-5) Cardinals

52-0

45-0 at halffime

:( That sounds so sad! This was my first win in the league (I took over the Rams four games ago). I'm used to getting mopped up myself, so this whole game was ... odd.

The Rams actually looked like they had a defense for once — shutting down every third down for the Cardinals and producing four turnovers. I'm sure it won't last long.

I'm so glad I played you before that trade goes through. I do not want to see Brees again. That man made me cry.

Anyway, good game, LV.

Ballhawk really made me work for that one...damn. I was down 17-14 in the 3rd quarter with Ballhawk at my 3 yard line 1st and goal when I managed to sneak through a gap with Ray-Ray and hit-stick Mendenhall in the backfield to force a fumble. My LE Redding picked it up and took it back 65 yards before getting tackled. That was the game-changer...I threw a 25 yard TD pass to Leach on that possession and took the lead 21-17 going into the 4th quarter. I managed to break off a 79 yard TD run with Lynch (untouched) in the 4th to seal the win.

I got some solid contributions from each player I traded for. Peppers got my only sack, Earl Thomas got 2 INTs, and Marshawn Lynch had 12 carries for 105 yards and 1 TD. He basically averaged 2 yards a carry aside from the 79 yarder though...so he wasn't too efficient. Tandon Doss is filling in nicely for Boldin too, catching 3 balls for 92 yards. And of course Ray Lewis with 1 pick and 1 FF!! He's now at 8 interceptions and 6 forced fumbles on the year. BAMF!

Ravens 31 Steelers 17

That was a really important game...I feel bad Zurezo wasn't there to play it, but his team was in very capable hands. Our series is tied 1-1 now and we're both at 2 losses for the season. Gg to ballhawk.

My game will be played this evening I know Man2008 so it won't be a problem , I can talk to Ramesu for whoever has to play him just let me know.

Wow , I might have to watch out for the Rams, on top of that it seems like every team in my division will have an elite QB and Runningback, smh , Im just missing a QB , its time for me to work on a Blockbuster.
Just to clarify, we can trade up until the end of week 10 correct?
Also trade talk heating up in ATL.
Right
That is what it is looking like Im currently printing Soduko Puzzles , would you like to engage in some trade talks ?
Pretty happy with the squad - but can be enticed... Lets start with WRs(aka Braylon)

I don't believe ubernes has weighed in on it yet. We won't take any action on it until he does.

I played you in the league a few years back. Trust me: You have nothing to worry about. Last night was a fluke. A full moon, perhaps?
Do we have a new San Diego owner yet?
I hope someone is , and hopefully Phillip Rivers is on the block lol
Do we have a new San Diego owner yet?
Yes, it should be iguss (the top guy on the waiting list). I PMed him and he told me he was still interested. I just PMed him again and told him to check into the thread today.

Good to go.

What was the majority opinion on the Brees deal? I'm not sure what I think but it seems decent.

Seemed like most people were alright with it based on how much Peterson is likely to progress. My only hesitation was the Saints giving up Brees when they're leading the division, but on its own merits the trade seems fine to me. I think that was the general consensus.

Yeah can we get more input on our trade? I think Doom was the only one who addressed it:
Ravens agree to send:
-TE Ed Dickson - 24 years old, A potential, 72 OVR
-4th round pick

Lions agree to send:
-TE Brandon Pettigrew - 26 years old, A potential, 81 OVR
wat about the pettigrew for dickson and a fourth
That deal is good to go as well, I was actually thinking of that when BV said the "Arizona deal". Anyways the TE swap is fine.

I now realize the deal awaiting my approval was the Brees deal. I think we all value CBs more than QBs so I can see why he'd deal Brees. With no objections, let's go ahead with this one too.

Looks good to me.
Do we have to drop our players n pick them up or does uber do tht!!
You guys can do it. You're able to add/drop through the EA Franchise website or in-game.
