My reasoning on the fake punt was that I hadn't really moved the ball well all game either. Even if I got the ball back after punting, I didn't have much faith in being able to move the ball down the field with no time outs (especially since I was missing Garcon AND Collie by that point). I figured the fact that it wasn't an obvious situation to go for it there would catch you off guard (which is what happened). I've actually never attempted a fake punt in this league before, so I figured it was a good enough spot to try it that I'd mix it up. That ended up being the last drive of regulation, though I did kind of take my foot off the pedal at the end there and play for OT. Last thing I wanted there was to throw another pick and miss the chance to tie it.
And man, I wish I had some edge rushers like Freeney and Mathis on the Pats. I don't have anybody who can close on the QB that well. And I definitely agree, I have no idea how the Colts' CBs stuck with your guys so well. I ended up controlling Mathis most of the game, which I would never do normally.
