Nah let's do it, I'm finishing an episode of a TV show right now though...it says there's 4 minutes left, so I'll get on right after that.
BV, beat this guy and give me homefield!
F@#% you a-hole piece of cr@p! I just threw a freaking interception because of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn...I was hoping to get a chance to air the ball out with Manning again (I already subbed for the Colts earlier in the year). Of course being at the store with an 8 months pregnant woman took way longer than it should have, so I can't blame you guys if you're already started.
Holy crap.
Im lost

edit: And doomtime no Off. player of the week for you this week.

To call that game intense would be an understatement. This game featured a defensive struggle, multiple turnovers, about a dozen sacks, a fake punt, FOUR punts in overtime, and then a last minute TD by Reggie Wayne to win it.

I give all the kudos in the world to MA for having the balls not to wait for a more appropriate sub. I know I wouldn't have had the competitive stones to do that. It was an amazing game.
Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You're welcome, dear. ;)

And apologies to pitfallharry.. I got you the win, but you lost Pierre Garcon for the next 2 weeks and Justin Tryon for the season. Ouch.

Yeah I saw. Oh well, I think he has 4 or 5 this year anyway.
Anyone in here have a capture card? If so what are you using?
Hauppage Colossus. Only complaint is the max resolution it can handle is 1280 x 720

Is it going to be Forte with 328 4td or Best 220 4td and 56 rec 1 td:)

Ray Rice hasn't seen the field yet...

Thanks for the input on cards, was hoping someone had the Roxio Game thing...it's only $100 and claims to do HD. I was kicking around doing a ustream of a few games lol.

Man I wish one of my corners had the awareness to step in front of a damn curl route!!! Killed me all game.....that fake punt was a heart breaker. I shoulda known it was coming...the game was showing me the names of your players as if I was holding RT but I wasnt...so I guess it was trying to give me a heads up. I thought you would just punt it and try to hold off my non-existent offense though since there was over 2 minutes left and you had all 3 timeouts left...so I just disregarded it.

Good game...I don't care so much that I lost, it's just frustrating to see my team play like crap some weeks and play amazing other weeks. I thought my d-line would match up well against the Colts' weak o-line, but I rarely got pressure. The only 2 sacks I had came from when I blitzed both linebackers...which I couldn't do too often cause it would leave too many holes in coverage. And I thought my receivers would be competent enough against your very mediocre CBs, but they couldn't get any separation all game...that's why I'd have to hold onto the ball way longer than I wanted to, which led to 6 sacks on the day. Oher allowed 4 of those sacks himself....scrub!

My reasoning on the fake punt was that I hadn't really moved the ball well all game either. Even if I got the ball back after punting, I didn't have much faith in being able to move the ball down the field with no time outs (especially since I was missing Garcon AND Collie by that point). I figured the fact that it wasn't an obvious situation to go for it there would catch you off guard (which is what happened). I've actually never attempted a fake punt in this league before, so I figured it was a good enough spot to try it that I'd mix it up. That ended up being the last drive of regulation, though I did kind of take my foot off the pedal at the end there and play for OT. Last thing I wanted there was to throw another pick and miss the chance to tie it.

And man, I wish I had some edge rushers like Freeney and Mathis on the Pats. I don't have anybody who can close on the QB that well. And I definitely agree, I have no idea how the Colts' CBs stuck with your guys so well. I ended up controlling Mathis most of the game, which I would never do normally.

The giants visted the cowboys in the first matchup of the season. It was a close game and hard fought matchup on offense and defense for both teams. The cowboys prevail with the final score 24 to 13. Gg mr bigat, I love our hard fought games. Usually, I'm on the losing end of things against you.

Honestly, it was kinda foolish, and calls into question the purpose of subs again. It turned a likely win into a tough loss against an opponent whose skill is nowhere close to that of the original opponent. It may have "got pitfall a win", but for a team out of the playoff race, it really just hurts his draft positioning. Aside from getting the game played right away, I don't see what good came out of it.

Big upset.

Even with the loss, the Giants still remain two games ahead for the number one seed.

Well all year we've been finding subs with roughly the same record, this was the exception. You can't question the purpose of subs based off this one instance. I know Pitfall had some medical stuff come up which is unfortunate, but if he can't make his game then he can't really complain about the result if his opponent ended up beating me (it's hard to imagine he'd actually complain about winning). No one in this league should be throwing their games to get a higher draft pick, so saying that him receiving a win and hurting his draft positioning is not a relevant complaint.

Sure I ended up receiving a loss which more than likely woulda been a win if I had played a suitable sub, but it was my decision and I don't see how anyone is really affected by it aside from me. I enjoy a good competitive game, so I'll gladly take a stronger sub in most cases. The reason the sub rule is put in place is to make things fair for the person who is having to play the sub. If that person is fine with playing a stronger sub than I don't see what the big deal is.

Week 14: Eagles @ Dolphins

Eagles: 10
Dolphins: 7

Miami's Defense: 1 Forced Fumble
Miami's Offense: 111 Yards Passing / 44 Yards Rushing

Eagles Defense: 1 Interceptions, 1 Sacks
Eagles Offense: 62 Yards Passing, 4 TD / 107 Rushing Yards

Dolphins had a chance to tie the game when on 3rd and (unsure) with 30 seconds left in the game (dolphins have 0 timeouts)...the eagles run the ball at my 25... Yeremiah Bell Forces a Fumble and Koa Misi Recovers....Sadly on the first play of the drive the Dolphins throw an interception.
nobody said anything about a liar, matt, just setting the record straight is all.
I just didn't want you to get the wrong idea.

Yeah, I never would've subbed against MA unless it was what he wanted. I personally wouldn't have done it if I were him, but our games are always fun and competitive, so I understand why he would want to.

dont forget stafford 5 tds 399 passing rbs always get it

Frustrating night with FOUR restarts for Rams/Seahawks. We got to the fourth quarter on the fourth game, so I think it gave staticz the option to count the game. I believe it was 31-7 Seahawks at the time of disconnection. No way I'm ever going to beat him, anyway.

Good game, staticz. Maybe someday you can share with me how 1) I can't stop your run, and 2) How I can't EVER run on you.

SEA - 31
STL - 7

After 4 attempts to get the game in STL and SEA decided to count the last attempt (Q4 with 4min left) at a game. It kept saying "opponent was kicked for excessive grieving" I guess lyric was crying too much :D j/k.

Rice rushed for 231 and 3TDs through 3 quarters. I might've been able to get POTW, but whatever.

GG lyric. Not sure why we couldn't get this done but thanks for agreeing to just count the last one.

SEA moves to 9-4 (first place!) riding a 6 game winning streak heading into CHI and then SF. Big games coming up for me!

Yeah, I don't know what the "excessive grieving" thing was. I knew going into this game I was going to get smashed, and I already had resigned myself to a loss and was ready to take my beating like a man. However, it's just a little insulting to have to go through it multiple times!!

My connection tonight was spotty at best. Lot of jittery movement on the screen, etc. Didn't have anything to do with why I can't stop Ray Rice, though!

GG, I made some stupid mistakes on offense early on and was never able to recover from them. Witten is unstoppable, especially when you use pump fakes/play action with him. I feel like I tossed every possible type of defense at him and none of it was able to contain him. Congrats on the win, it was well earned.

Packers/Raiders: Still haven't heard a reply from the Raiders. He PM'ed me back 2 days ago and said he'd be busy Friday but could play this weekend. I responded and suggested a time but haven't heard back.

He said he is having to move out of his apartment unexpectedly so he's not going to have time today unfortunately.

We'll need a sub close to a 7-5 record.

Shit. Thanks for finding out. Hope he gets everything resolved.

I'm looking for someone who can do late afternoon Pacific time, but I understand concessions may have to be made.

I can probably sub. I think my record is around there, no? Plus, I'm in a major slump. I think I lost my last 4 games total. If someone else can, go for it. What time exactly, Matt?

Thanks for offering. I don't know exactly, but to be safe, how does 7 P.M. Eastern work for you? I may be able to get on earlier, but I'm not sure at this time.
I can do 7. I'll likely be around until 830-9. Just pm me when you're ready.
Oh. And who will be around for to take commish duties while I leave? Doom? Bv? And are we looking good to advance today?
Unless the Saints benefit from a Packers loss.. Like I said not sure about records. Up to you really, Matt.
that game does have potential playoff implications for the Saints, Panthers, and Bears... there are a few other teams that would benefit from a Packers loss as well but those 3 stand to gain the most

packers play the raiders doom mog then me which helps me if i can winout...... if static or cru go to 10 and 6 and i do also o could have the 6 wildcard spot

So what exactly are we doing? I got on a couple minutes ago and saw that the original owner was still listed.

A Packers loss would help the Saints, yes.
