So, if this thread isn't to talk about trades and isn't to talk about scheduling games, what is it for? Not being a smartass...honest question. At least posting in the thread creates a public record of attempts at communicating. Otherwise, I could just claim I PM'd him 394 times and he never responded.
And isn't that the entire point of posting availability? (which some people never did) Some of us have wives/jobs/kids/lives and can't just sit around in Madden waiting for somebody to get on. Just saying, if I get screwed out of a game by TRYING to schedule it, while my opponent gets a free win for disappearing, that's garbage.

, in all honesty, Matt should sub for my opponent, and I should sub for his. Then we can just blow the game for each other, and not give a shit, because really...why not? That's my proposal. Just give it till midnight EST and we'll have the games done.
Okay, I'm officially back home now. As for your question about this thread, it's pretty open ended. I don't mind if people talk trades (what's on their block, what their looking for, etc) in the thread. The only thing we want to avoid are trade negotiations between just 2 users in the middle of the thread. That's what PMs are for and that's what BV was getting at previously.
As for posting in the thread about scheduling games...that's also cool. I agree with you. It gives you a public record, but when we approach our deadline for the week and you still haven't heard, it is always helpful to receive a PM so I know exactly what's delaying a game and I can help out where I can.
Beyond that clarification you do make a good point on subbing. Although I should also clarify one more thing, no one should be blowing games as a sub. It's a waste of time and you can play the CPU if that's going to happen. The point of a sub is two-fold. 1. No one joined this league to play the CPU. And 2. When schedules don't just match up or someone is out of town (aka involving reliable members, I'm not counting savatage under that category right now) then it's only fair to not give away games. Not even so much to the team being subbed for, but those in that team's conference/division.
Back to your point. Since savatage has been completely MIA through this whole process I do agree that you should not be forced to play a sub if you don't want to. And as I said via PM you can play the CPU.
