Bull. Mog didn't make the playoffs, he doesn't get a chance at a ring. A round robin seems more fair.
If subbed Steelers end up winning the whole thing. I guess you guys split the ring in 5 parts? Zurezo for the regular season and a piece for each subsequent round.
No way! If Mog wins with the Steelers, I'm sure Zurezo would want Mog to play the next round
Mog has not played this game in keeping with how subs in this league should play.

I was losing this game anyway the way I played, but bleeding the clock all game starting in the 1st quarter essentially meant it would be as unpleasant an experience as possible for me. Really no fun at all.

Even now he is running plays under 2 minutes with a 24 point lead when I'm clearly not calling timeouts.

Someone else will sub against Doom.

I'll take it :D

Doesn't look like a round robin is what BV had planned. It is the commish's call.

I don't care who does it.

And it's not personal against mog, he wasn't being a dick about anything, I just don't really think that style of play is what makes for the most enjoyable playoffs. I'd rather Doom play someone who's going to play it straight up.

I think trying to get the W by any means neccesary when you sub for someone else should always be the goal. Espescially in the Playoffs! I know it's boring BV, but if Mog won. Atleast he did right by Zurezo.

Although since Zurezo is gonna get subbed through the whole playoffs, that doesn't really matter.

Phew...I'd rather staticz go ahead and sub for Zurezo now instead of the AFC Championship against me next week...(making the pretty big assumption that Steelers and Ravens advance this week)! 2 shutouts in our only meetings...yeesh

BTW Bseti, I'm already online and ready to go after we advance. Just send the invite when you're ready

How is a sub suppose to play...and doom if ur scared say ur scared I played u once this year and u scrim statiz all the time. I didn't ask to sub my name was mentioned and I accepted...bv u are a sore loser smh but u got guys got it...this is suppose to be fun
How is a sub suppose to play...
Not like that.

Dude, please don't make it personal, it's not. You can call me a sore loser all you want, I'm not. I expected to lose, I played you anyway. I don't mind losing. The way you played that game was no fun whatsoever, it just wasn't.

You bled the clock every play starting in the first quarter, and every single play you called (except one completion to Miller) was either a run straight up the middle or a 5-wide shotgun set. That game bore absolutely no resemblance to anything which could be construed as football. I guess you just wanted to prove you were better than me. Congrats! We didn't need to play the game to figure that out.
this is suppose to be fun
Laughable coming from you after that game, no offense.

Can't be scared of a guy I'm 4-0 against this year. I beat you this season. I beat you twice last season once when I subbed for ballhawk. I beat you in the fantasy league. I've scrimmed staticz twice but that's different then playing in a league game since it's practice.

Bv I used the same offense I used with denver in last year madden run up the middle and 5 wide but I must say you didn't. Let up any big plays so I kept feeding the ball to them. And doom yes you did beat me everytime but I'm not scared and how can you choose who you play in the playoffs but you guys can do what you want

I don't think swapping around subs after a sub won his playoff game makes any sense. That is the last I'll say on that cause it has 0 to do with me. Going to watch some basketball.

O Yeah, GO TITANS

I'm just picking guys that I haven't played yet. Both of them made the playoffs so it's not like it's unfair. I haven't played GB in this league I don't think ever. Same goes for staticz and they're both good too. So I don't think that's unfair.

I'm not taken anything pekrsonal bv I am competitive and you being 4-0 against me makes me want to beat you that's all

End of Season Report: New York Jets

Last Season's Report

This will be an exercise in "what did we do wrong?" I'm curious to see how differently I played from Season 1 to Season 2 and how that may have hurt my overall success.

Record: 8-8 (S1 12-4), 3-3 division record, 6-6 conference.

Offense:
25.8 ppg (10th, S1 10th)
332.9 ypg (5th, S1 14th)
246.6 passing ypg (3rd, S1 15th)
86.3 rushing ypg (21st, S1 12th)

I put up almost the exact same PPG, but lost 4 more games. We'll get to the defense soon enough, but as you can tell right now my offense was not very balanced as my passing yards went way up and my rushing down.

Passing:
Mark Sanchez - 234 for 450 (52%), 3,890 yards, 34 TDs, 32 INTs, 77 QB rating (10th in league)

I threw it 114 more times this year and my completion percentage suffered 5 points likely because of it. I added an extra 1k yards, but threw 10 more TDs and 10 more INTs. Essentially Sanchez improved upon nothing and regressed in his accuracy. Oddly enough, he moved up 3 spots in QB rating but maybe that's just more of a testament to how hard it is to pass this year.

The goal was to throw it more, but Sanchez was supposed to improve enough to make that a good idea. He didn't (I didn't) and the results weren't pretty.

Rushing:
Shonn Greene - 138 carries, 921 yards (6.7 ypc), 9 TDs
Bilal Powell - 41 carries, 321 yard (7.8 ypc), 2 TDs

Greene saw himself lose 52 carries last year thanks to the pass happy attack. Despite that, he had 2 more TDs and increased his yards per carry by almost a full yard.

As I said in my last report, I expected Powell to fill in the LT role and he did just that. He had almost the same number of carries, but with even better production. The Jets might lean on him more going into Season 3 if he can continue to prove he can be more than a change of pace back.

Receiving:
Santonio Holmes - 51 catches, 953 yards (18.7 ypc), 11 TDs
Dustin Keller - 51 catches, 715 yards (14 ypc), 3 TDs
Delency Kilgo - 43 catches, 781 yards (18.2 ypc), 7 TDs
Jarvaris Belton - 36 catches, 566 yards (15.7 ypc), 5 TDs

Keller missed the last 3 weeks of the season and had injury issues in-game throughout the year. The Jets got lucky when they drafted Belton as he helped ease some of the pain of missing the Jets top target last season.

Holmes, meanwhile, stepped up in Keller's place as well but also became a favorite target in the new pass attack. He almost doubled his receiving yards from Season 1. Holmes, however, slowed down considerably as he never cracked 100 yards after Week 8 and actually only cracked 50+ twice in that same span.

Rookie WR Kilgo showed flashes of dominance in the slot and in the #2 WR role after Plax was dealt, but injuries turned a potential record-breaking rookie campaign into a quiet success. A healthy season for both Keller and Kilgo will go along way in keeping the passing game consistent in Season 3.

The Jets right now have 4-5 slot WRs with the mid-season addition of Tate. Kerley (448 yards, 4 TDs) never saw much action after that trade so perhaps Kilgo, Tate or Kerley could be dealt before the new season.

Defense:
28.6 ppg (23rd, S1 7th)
322 ypg (24th, S1 9th)
189.4 passing ypg (13th, S1 10th)
132.6 rushing ypg (26th, S1 6th)

Yikes. Teams dropped 10 more points on the Jets this season. They gained an additional 80 yards per game, and rushed for 50 more yards per game. That is rough. The only positive that you might be able to take from this is that the pass defense was about as good. You want to know what caused the 4 game swing between S1 and S2? This is it.

My goal last season was "less shootouts." I'd always find myself fending off last minute comebacks in S1. This year, the Jets let teams run all over them from the start and they didn't have the fire power to keep up.

Cromartie led the team with 6 INTs, followed by Wilson's 5. Most of those INTs happened in the last few games though. Actually, ALL of Cromartie's INTs came in the last 3 games. David Harris led the team in tackles easily with 50. The team had 27 sacks (8 more than last year), so there's that.

By the end of S2, Pouha departed as the nose tackle. Starting outside linebackers Pace and Thomas were both regulated to minor roles. Smith was benched in favor of free agent Chinedum Ndukwe at free safety. 5 out of the front 7 are now under the age of 25. This unit could very well struggle again in Season 3, but with progression and learning how to better use these younger players maybe they can turn it around.
Bv I used the same offense I used with denver in last year madden run up the middle and 5 wide but I must say you didn't. Let up any big plays so I kept feeding the ball to them.
The same play every time would not have bothered me as much if it weren't for the bleeding of the clock. There's no reason for you to do that, you were going to beat me anyway. At least let's get some plays in.

You said yourself this is supposed to be fun, I don't think you'll find a single person on this league who thinks watching a clock tick from quarter one is fun. Maybe you do? I dunno, I can't tell you what you find fun.

The bottom line is that it's my opinion that playing that way isn't exciting or interesting in any way, and this is the playoffs. It's supposed to be exciting and interesting. I'm not saying what you did was against the rules, and you definitely weren't mean-spirited about it, so please don't read it as a personal attack.

If Doom felt strongly about playing you I wouldn't stop him, but I think someone who's going to play differently than you did should be the sub.
I'm just picking guys that I haven't played yet. Both of them made the playoffs so it's not like it's unfair. I haven't played GB in this league I don't think ever. Same goes for staticz and they're both good too. So I don't think that's unfair.
If this was to me Doom, I said I didn't think it made sense. I never brought the words fair or unfair into the equation.

I had fun and bv you quit too fast as I remember I was 0-1 against you and you beat me like 38-3 so how did you know you were goin to lose???

Patriots Trading Block

I'll add more later once we progress, I just wanted to get this out there.

TE Rob Gronkowski - 88 OVR - 23 - A Pot
WR Wes Welker - 91 OVR - 31 - A Pot
LT Matt Light - 85 OVR - 34 - B Pot
LE Shaun Ellis - 85 OVR - 35 - A Pot

Looking for: Picks (the higher the better, obviously), CBs, Linebackers, RG

Other than that, I'm open to offers on anyone except Ross (duh), White, McCourty, and Kohlhausen. I might consider moving Brady, but it would take a village.

Lastly....

JETS TRADE BLOCK
Any slot WR (Kilgo, Tate, Kerley)
Bart Scott (87 OVR, MLB, 33 years old)
Bryan Thomas (80 OVR, OLB, 34 years old)
Mike Devito (80 OVR, RE/DT, 29 years old)
Calvin Pace (78 OVR, OLB, 33 years old)

WANTS
Possession WR but not with terrible speed
LG
LB

Both my block and needs can change depending on how my draft goes. I'm not dying to deal any of these guys, but I would like to hear offers. And I'd hear offers on anyone really but I'd have to get a haul for any of my CBs.
I had fun and bv you quit too fast as I remember I was 0-1 against you and you beat me like 38-3 so how did you know you were goin to lose???
I didn't quit, I was still trying to score up until the end. Ross had a very good game, I just couldn't throw to anyone but your defenders until late. My issue wasn't with how the game was played on the plays that were run, just with bleeding the clock so early and often. It's really not enjoyable, and I don't remember you ever doing that in the other games we played.

I don't have any hard feelings about it, except maybe for being called a sore loser, lol. I understand why you might get that impression, but my personal wins and losses mean practically nothing to me, all I care about is having a fun league (I've said that many times).
If this was to me Doom, I said I didn't think it made sense. I never brought the words fair or unfair into the equation.
More so in reply to Mog with that one. But I can see what you're saying.

You guys think what you want though. I ain't a bitch, just want someone in elite company that I haven't played before.

If I lose, I lose. Not trying to set up the easiest path possible.
I ain't a bitch
Fact. Keep in mind this was my idea, not Doom's.

If anyone's called out, make it me, not him. ;)

I'm supposed to be grocery shopping, if the gf knew I was delaying picking her up so I could yap about Madden, she'd punch me (justifiably so). Good luck with next round, guys! Maybe we can advance tonight.

I never doubted that for a second.
I think you're missing a decade. :D
How come you fucking Jets always have to rain on our fucking cheating parade?

Time to shred all those fake birth certificates.

I'm not callin no one a bitch at all like I said before I am a competitor that's all but I really don't care what happens...it just doesn't make sense that's all. I just wanna play another game before I pack for Fla for a football tournament lol

Yeah I know I wasn't saying anybody was calling me a bitch. I was just getting that out there. Good luck in your tourney.
Can anyone post a full list of the draft order or a link to somewhere that we can find out our actual draft pick number?
The easports website will have it after the Superbowl. The way to do it now though is to look on the xfn site and sort by win loss records. Then for tiebreaks, you look at the strength of schedules which you can find on the power rankings.

Heart breaking loss to the ravens. Offense couldn't help the defense at all. Couldn't get the onside kick. Great game MA. Hopefully my guys go up, especially locker.
fuck me

KC-Pitt going down at 10 pm EST. Anyone know if Ballhawk or BigAT will be around tonight? We could potentially knock out the whole postseason if guys are up to it.
