i may be drafting for the panthers tonight. Yanksrule had issues signing up for easports.com, and he doesnt get out of work til 9. hes trying to get someone to work for him but its not likely.
im pretty sure that my titans only have one pick in the first 5 rounds (2nd rd), so i will be able to sign in as the panthers and focus more on his team. weve been talkin about his needs since he joined so if it comes to this it shouldnt be a big deal, but obviously hes disappointed that he has to miss the first draft. hopefully he will be able to get out early.

There were a couple mix up last year as well, relying on someone else to draft for you is risky.

This is my point. BSETI, you know you're going to have to pick the players for these guys right? I'm not trying to be an ass to the Chargers owner, just making sure he knows he has a huge responsibility.
 
I'm typing this from my phone so I can't go as in depth as I want to , but I just want it to be undeerstood that I didn't have 5 sub games , I missed if anything 3 games which 2 were a loss and as I previously posted the giants game and I believe it was the bengals game I offered them the option of playing a sub because of connection issues. I only not communicated with one opponent and that was the cardinals I believe. My subbed games I messagedd ubernes letting him know. I have also already apolgized to the thread and bvharris specifically for not also posting here. Now if we are being technical I had one win from a sub, which is not five wins. On another note I don't talk trash usually but You had two oppurtunities to beat me and win the division and you were easily disposed of.

Staticz is welcome to his opinion, I don't share it though. I understand where he's coming from with regards to communication, but I don't think it will be a problem going forward.

You're cool as far as I'm concerned, nothing easy about winning a Super Bowl in this league.

yea i know that why wouldnt i know that i just posted exactly that. he has to work hed rather me pick for him than the cpu. everyone isnt gooing to make the draft, its just the way it is. trying to get 32 people online at the same time for a couple hours is impossible, no matter how crazy good our commish's are

im jus tryin to get yanksrule off to a good start, i would be pissed if i couldnt make the draft right after i picked up a team, it would probably make me not want to play. at leaast this way i can at least try to fill his needs and draft his type of players

If your idea of communication is having 3 people text you to schedule a game for you, then you communicated like a champ. Yep, you beat me, so did several others, I don't see your point there.

Like BV said, I can have my opinion and all I did was express it no need to get butt hurt about someone trashing your e-ring. I'm not saying it wasn't tough, I'm just saying you didn't play every game and that could've had an affect on the outcome, chill.

If you really want to get into semantics you missed three games, read the OP.

he couldnt sign up easports.com it said some bullshit. and i dont have a comp in my room, i have my phone but i dont want to do the draft on my phone. im just going to start as the panthers, make his first two picks, then login as my titans, make my second rounder, then sign back in as the panthers until the 6th round. really the only tricky part will be going from my second round pick, to his third rounder, since i will need to hurry. and then it might get tricky in the 6th and 7th rounds but whatever ill get it done. if we could start a lil later he can make it. hopefully he will be able to get somone to close for him, but who really wants to go into work for an hour at the most on a sunday night to fill in for him. i know id tell him to shit in his hat.

weve been hangin out the last week or so playin madden, goin over his panthers, i know what he wants. and he has given me the names of guys hes scouted who i dont think are going to be there for him but i know to take them if they are. i can really focus on his team, my second round pick is going to be a depth player obviously so im more focused on scouting for him.

i will know in the next few hours what the deal is, im gonna need the league password if this is the case.

All the picks were for last years draft so hes straight.

I have been fine with all the trades..only one that really got my attention was the Spikes deal bc of the huge disparity. I actually did not have a problem with a 4th rounder though, as others did, but I have not done a draft before either.

he lives right next to his work, so regardless of whether he can get the kid to cover for him he gets out at 9, so he could be back in time for the last few rounds. im not worried about it ill prolly be on the phone with him while drafting, the panthers will be fine, lets get back to trade talks, im sure there are plenty to finalize

shit ur right, but even that shouldnt be a problem, the cardinals have all my picks. i actually need to check what picks i have. i know i dont have my first, i know i have my second, i actually might have my third as well

Can you manage your own draft from EA's website and then another person's from the XBox? It would save the aggravation of leaving and rejoining the franchise all the time.

Someone who's tried it can explain it better, but it's a lot harder to sort players and find the guy you want. I believe people have also had other problems, but I can't say what off the top of my head.

Most people use the website for the chat but draft in-game.

In madden 11 the person with the number 1 overall (pacer i think) tried to draft some amazing QB from the EA website and it messed up and gave him some lineman or something. I definitely recommend drafting your own team on the xbox if you have to draft for 2 teams.

i might sign into my ea account on my mothers computer, which would require me sprinting down the hall after each pick. but it might be easier.

Maybe drafting for 2 teams isn't the best idea with that set up.

I'd say your best bet is to log in and out between picks, there should be time, you have 10 picks between you.

How long does the draft normally last?

My other questions are more of 'how do you find hidden gems?' and such, so I assume those are ones I will have to learn with experience. :D

You don't have anyone else's picks, so you should be fine. New people sometimes struggle with the trades.

It typically lasts 2 hours or so.

The most important thing (and I'll say this 4 or 5 times today) is that nobody touch their rosters or play their week 1 games until I finish putting through all the trades (which usually takes about an hour). I'll be saying this all day, but invariably 2 or 3 people will ignore it.

1. Prepare before your pick comes up, have a few people you want in case the person you want gets drafted right before you pick.
2. Normally about 1 hr for the core rounds (1-4)
3. Use this link to find the potentials of players and then choose accordingly link
4. Check your pms ;)

go in set up ur draft board the cpu will pick ur guys best case scenario for u... if for some odd reason ea fucks up for bseti it could let the cpu fuck up one of ur 2 drafts
