Broncos overcome slow start to narrowly beat Browns
--
In a game marred by sloppy play offensively and defensively, the Broncos made enough good plays to escape with a win. On the opening possession, Tim Tebow was picked off, an issue for him this season. The ensuing Browns possession went for a 48 yard touchdown run by HB Nyjee Dyer. Following a Denver field goal, Dyer again burst through the line for a 55 yard score. The next Denver possession got them right back into the game with a 79 yard touchdown of their own by Knowshon Moreno. However, Cleveland was able to march down the field to extend their lead to 21-10. Following a 3 and out, Denver receiver Eddie Royal suffered a devastating broken collarbone injury. After a screen pass to Moreno which led to another Denver score, the defense forced another punt. Steve Breaston took advantage of some overpursuing Browns special teamers to elude tackles and race to the end zone for a 79 yard score [[Achievement Unlocked]]. This return seemed to be the backbreaker, as the Broncos widened their lead with a touchdown to rookie TE Desean Lake near the end of the third quarter. One Prater field goal later, McCoy hit Greg Little in stride for a 42 yard touchdown. After Denver recovered the onside kick, they seemed to be well positioned for a win, running out the clock and in field goal range. Then, stunningly, Moreno fumbled for the first time on the year and Cleveland recovered. This led to Nyjee Dyer breaking through with his fourth score of the game, a 44 yard run, with 1:21 remaining. Cue Tim Tebow magic. Tebow led the Broncos right back down the field, and took a shot deep. On the receiving end of the deep ball was none other than Steve Breaston, for a 42 yard touchdown with :32 seconds to spare. The Browns final comeback attempt was stifled after a Pat Chung pick sealed the Denver win.

Great game UMX. I was sure you were going to destroy me after I was so bad at the beginning, but I was fortunate to get some stops. I'm continuing to be happy with my trade with BV earlier, as Hernandez is a great target, Chung leads my team in tackles and tied for the lead in picks, and the guy I picked with his draft pick has picked up two touchdowns in the last two weeks.
