The Jets are currently 4-0 at home. After next week's bye, New England travels to MetLife Stadium. Let's see if they can keep that home streak going. :)

Edit: I want to see Pitt and NE get lit up this week. I want some green in those team stat leaders.

Edit2: I just noticed I haven't won or lost a game by more than a TD besides Week 1. It looks like all but 2 were decided by LESS than a TD. Intense season. Hopefully the luck keeps breaking my way and then some.

jags fall to the pats 13-20
not to much to write about here im sure bv will do a good write better than me lol.
good news my defense was doing great held cobie ross the whole game to 61 yards until he broke off one big one which was the game winning td for sure.
Gabbert was on his shit and looking good but wasnt enough for the win.

GG bv i was surprised to even be in this one at all.

You played really well, and funny things happen in the rain. You think I'd be used to it by now given that 9 out of 10 of my home games are in a thunderstorm, but it still fucks with my rhythm sometimes like it did in this one.

lol i havent had a home game in jacksonville that hasnt been in the rain thats why i go for the running backs that have high carrying rate. my defense was hitting ur guys hard as hell this game to ross didnt have a chance on that hit i was hoping to take it to the house but no luck with that one. this game gave me a little hope for the rest of the season to not be a total beating but even if it is i got that number one draft pick haha and its not traded this time

New England Patriots 20 - Jacksonville Jaguars 13

The Patriots overcame a sluggish start to squeak out a narrow win over Jacksonville at home in driving rainstorm number 4,762. They dug themselves an early hole when they allowed Jacksonville to chew up the entire first quarter on a long extended drive before Cobie Ross fumbled away the ball on the ensuing possession. That the Patriots were able to hold the Jags to field goals on both kept them in the game. The Pats offense finally started to get somewhat on track, scoring before the half and then taking control in the second half, but this game was never comfortable.

Tom Brady was 7 of 11 for 107 yards, 0 TDs and 0 INTs.

Blaine Gabbert was 15 of 32 for 170 yards, 1 TD and 0 INTs.

Cobie Ross was held in check most of the game before breaking loose for a 60 yarder to seal the win. His final line was 21 carries for 111 yards and 2 TDs, though he also had a costly fumble in the 1st quarter.

The Jags backs combined for 36 yards on 16 carries.

No Patriots receiver did much in this one, Demaryius Thomas was the leading receiver with his one 31 yard catch which set up the first Ross TD.

Marcedes Lewis caught 7 balls for 90 yards, while Mike Thomas had the TD.

gg DVO! You definitely brought your A game in this one. I was a bit puzzled as to why you weren't using your timeouts on defense when I was driving late before the Ross TD. You didn't leave yourself much time to mount a comeback, though you almost managed it anyway.

Pats definitely aren't playing their best offensive ball these past two weeks, need to get Ross back on track and the passing game going again like it was early in the season. Still, a win is a win and I'll take it. :D

i dont usually use them until 2:30 or after the warning not sure why makes me feel more safe. but getting two WRs hurt late in the game killed me didnt have the hands out there to make any plays really but they will both return next week so its all good. i was trying new things on offense as well and was very happy with the results.

The schedule isn't matching up for damailman and I. It's looking like we won't be able to play until Monday after midnight. I'm moving today so the only time that I could play would've been about now. I'm leaving my old place in a bit for good and won't have internet until tomorrow morning-noonish...

I don't mind a sub if the wait to midnight is too much to ask...

49ers - 28
Giants - 3

It was a close first half, but Chu was obviously still the better player. I just regress terribly if a play happens that I have trouble accepting. My 2nd INT of the game was one of those CPU torpedo leap one handed grabs by a LB that really pissed me off at a crucial spot and I couldn't recover mentally. I made a ton of stupid mistakes after that and Chu capitalized on them.

2nd half was a joke and I felt bad for Chu. Had to be incredibly boring for him. He could have rubbed the game in more than he did if he wanted to, but played with the class of a defending champ.

The past two guys that got beaten by the Saints quit the league.

Ravens Brutally Assault Chiefs 34-17.

GG MA. Very sound defense and you never really made any mistakes. Tried to surprise you going pass first but that ended up biting me in the ass. That lob pick over the middle was insane, thought I had you beat there.

My arm tackling defense showed up today. Glad to see them return. Could not stop Shaka Zulu to save my life.

The worst part of this game was the injuries. Dwayne Bowe was mugged on my last offensive play in a Baltimore alleyway and is now out 11 weeks. McCluster was also seen battered and bruised and will now be out 2 weeks. Backup MLB Demorrio Williams was clubbed by Ray Lewis (who was in attendance) and will now be out 8 weeks.

The Delonte Waters experiment failed so back to the bench he goes.

Chiefs fall to 3-2 and will take on the upstart Tampa Bay Bucs next week.
sprice/superstar set for late Monday, right? that is fine.
ill be home in a few if thats cool?

idk if i should look for a sub for the packers because me and matt young had to reschedule our game time to later tonite because something came up on his end he wanted to play later tonite and i pm him asking for a time and he didnt respond. i didnt want to wait to the deadline day to try and get my game in

Damn, I just realized Doom has two losses this season.

GAMES LEFT
Packers/Bears (tonight?)
Broncos/Saints (tonight at 1015pm)
Seahawks/Falcons (tonight at 11pm)
Chargers/Texans (after midnight tomorrow OR sub)

If the Packers/Bears game goes down without issue today or early tomorrow, then I think we may look for a sub for Rames. He doesn't seem to mind. Though, I honestly don't mind waiting. I guess we'll see how the other game shakes out and go from there.
