I'm an NBA agnostic. I tried to like the 76ers for a while, but I couldn't. I probably would be a Thunder fan, but their hijacking from Seattle still sucks. I'd probably go with the Suns, because Steve Nash is my favorite player, or the Jazz, because my dad is a Jazz fan.

I can't get caught up this, I'm trying to work damnit!

LV - I fixed that :p

OG - KG couldn't get done alone either. LeBron scored 40 and had better ancillary stats the Jennings. It isn't James' fault when the bench doesn't show up. Do you blame it all on KG whenever the C's lose?
Celtics could sign him since Ray Allen and Garnett are coming off the books. Jermaine the scrub will be a free agent too. Rondo and Howard would be a nice pair. I'd trade Paulina Pierce if Howard shows up.
Pierce is a baller, he's retiring in the Green.

That is true, but then what? Rondo, Howard and ??? They would be in worse shape then they are now. I'm not certain Rondo signs an extension whenever his contract is up either. Ainge basically gave him a golden shower during the offseason.

Edit: gotta agree with OG on that one. If they trade Pierce...ugh. That guys has been through everything with the Celts

KG is not expected to score over 20 a game...and as for Lebron.....stop swinging from his nuts....The whole world knows he can't get it done in the 4th qtr. Also if you are going to point fingers at KG all i have to say is Bosh...he shits on himself out there...and when he doesn't Skip Bayless does.

Resign Brandon Bass and go after Gerald Wallace. That guy is way underrated. Use the rest of the money to beef up the bench. Avery Bradley has a lot of potential too.

Oh for the love of god. Yes LBJ is balls deep in my ass and he won't even give me a reach around. At least present a valid argument before you head into the shit slinging direction.

I agree, wallace had a huge impact in Portland last year, he can still be a force in the NBA.

Holy shit what is this, intelligent conversation?

That might work. Howard is at his best when he has a scorer that he can feed it to when the defense collapses. Wallace would fill that role. I would be scared that Rondo can't score enough with a guy like Howard, who i feel needs to be sorrounded by scorers to be most effective.

Lol now I feel like playing 2K. Sucks I'm at school.

I don't know what to think about Howard. He is clearly the best center in the NBA, but he still doesn't have the offensive moves that the dominant big men had before him. Definitely still hasn't reached his full potential. I don't think he ever will in Orlando. They play like the Golden State Warriors minus a superstar like Monte Ellis.

And yeah Rondo's outside game isn't too great, but he is one of the few point guards that constantly crashes the boards and he has amazing court vision. He can drive when he has to as well.

Rondo
??
Wallace
Bass
Howard

I like that lineup.

I pour over rosters in 2k12 more than i play the game, haha. Offline franchises will keep me busy all year. This year i haven't built a winner, yet.

That lineup is OK, but is only best for third in the east, meaning they'd be in the same spot they're in now just for the next 5 years :D

I'm sticking with the Kings. Fired Westphall a day before the real life Kings did and hired Don Nelson

I'm only 17-15 unfortunately.

I used to like LeBron. But when he spat in the collective face of Cleveland with an hour long contrived ESPN special. And he does have a history of disappearing late in the postseason, which I imagine whitewidow was attempting to articulate before he abandoned it and got insult-y.

EDIT: Disappearing may have been to harsh a word. Lacking consistency makes more sense. I mean, who remembers that AMAZING shot he hit at the buzzer against Orlando a few years back?

Not the entire postseason, just the NBA Finals. Can't really blame him for being dusted by the Spurs in 2007. Mo Williams was the number 2 threat on that team. These past Finals I'd agree Lebron is to blame.

As for the special. Meh. Spitting on the face of Cleveland for charity :)

I could never hate Tebow, he's so bad. Kinda like hating Mark Sanchez, you just have too appreciate how terrible he is.

Lebron is the absolute worst.

because he is the best? ;) you still haven't given a reason.

Oh and for everyone complaining about him not be clutch in the playoffs - Kobe is 28% when taking the game winner in the playoffs, Lebron is 41% successful.

That's a flawed statistic. Kobe has been in the league way longer than LeBron, has played in way more playoff games, and taken way more shots in that scenario. Nobody is saying he can't hit the big shot. What I'm saying is that he sometimes lays giant turds in the playoffs. He may be good at buzzer beaters, but he also sometimes plays so poorly in playoff games that he never even gets close to being in a situation to take that shot.

people are crazy on here i dont even like bron buts its clear he is the best player in the league you have to give props where there due. no one plays both sides of the ball like he does.

Static, could you blow Lebron any harder? honestly we all know how you like to deep throat LJ...and you need to look at fieldgoal percentage with under 5 minutes left in the 4th.

I should probably clarify my position here, because I don't hate LeBron. I just want him to do more. He is such a dominant athlete. The fact that he hasn't won a title in his 7 years in the league is disappointing. I know he had absurd amounts of hype when entering the NBA, and it's tough to live up to, but with his talent he should have done more.

Either way, numbers don't lie. Kobe has played more than 100 more playoff games but Lebron has only made two less game winners than Kobe. Sure Kobe has had 13 more opportunities but that doesn't really speak well to him either.

On top of all of that Kobe has always had superstars around him when he's won. Last year was lebrons first year with another superstar.

No one in the league is better then lebron right now, no one.

Says Gronk's mistress

Just for the icing on the cake Lebron's NBA finals stats are like 21 points 38% shooting. FTs around 70%, 3 pointers around 30%. Does that look like the best player in the NBA to you.

I agree, LeBron is the best player in the league. And you won't see me trying hard to defend Kobe, I hate the Lakers :D

This brings me back to my last point. He's been the most dominant player in the league for at least three years now, but hasn't accomplished much with that. It's disappointing.

Sorry if you live in Texas and your Teams suck...We are very used to Super Bowls in Boston :applause::applause::applause::applause::applause:

Your trash talk game is terrible. If you can't get the fundamentals of shit talking down on a message board where you can actually think about what you're going to post, then you're a lost cause.

Boston's finest.

And no, I'm not from Texas. Nobody here has mentioned Texas.

Where you live is not the issue, your team is most likely rooting for mine come Sunday!!!

Yeah, the 2007 super bowl is something I could get used to too.

LOL, widow's shit talking ability called into question, never thought I'd see the day.

I'd rather have D-Wade, or Kobe from a few years ago than Lebron all day.

It's all good kid, wants to talk shit sitting in class, i'm in class doing the same thing...Business Law is one of the most boring classes out there.
because he is the best? ;) you still haven't given a reason.

As a Celtics fan I reserve the right to hate Lebron, regardless of his physical ability, no doubt his is one of the best, But the man still has yet to win a Championship. And until you do that, you ain't the best at anything.
Besides, Doom doesn't want it in 2k...you already know!!!
Actually I don't, not sure who it is who already knows.
Besides, Doom doesn't want it in 2k...you already know!!!
If you lose to my Kings, it's all over. I'll have to buy another copy. Got rid of it last month in favor of the pc version

Well, the only one that would qualify to answer that in this thread would be Ramesu, he's the only one i've played online and we were dicking around...it is great to see that 2k has finally made the online gameplay smooth.
If you lose to my Nets....
I've got 2k12 if you want to play sometime. Ill kill it with the Wiz ;)
