waiting on crus reply....ballhawkz been working days and nights he said he can try to sneak a gamr in early tomm or not till 11 tomm night.... sub if need be i could if it comes to that

Ask him if 7:30 or 7:45 EST work. or 10:30 est or later?

If I don't hear from ya, I have to play the playoff game at 9:30 EST. I'll be playing online from 7:45 EST on, so if Cru sees me on at that time we can play. But I can't blow off that other game that has been scheduled for a week.

Apparently my Cord and X-box both died at the same time. I didn't have them on a surge protecter so I guess that is on me.

I asked BSeti to Sub for the Cardinals again so if they're are no objections, he can play Cru tonight.

I'm honestly too pissed to make any statements about the future, but I don't know when I will be back playing again.

Been there man. I've had 4 rrod's. The last time it happened i didn't even send the piece of crap in. Went straight to the store and bought another one (new style)....ahh Microsoft has me by the balls.

guess it dont matter but i always forget the diff timezones... hell be on after 930 east so watever bv decides.... pantherz may need a sub if we advancr b4 11 tomm night i think thats the only time ballhawk can play
 
I don't know how long this whole process is gonna take, but I hope if I miss more than a few games I can keep the Cardinals.

I'll even volunteer to mediate getting subs for the Cardinals (doubt Widdow or Bseti will mind an extra game here and there).

Had to forfeit the JV playoffs, that blew. Arghhh just such bad timing, then again I've never been in a league, so I suppose getting fucked like this was bound to happen at some point.

And I can't play BV's birthday presents!

And I have to send my X-Box in with a brand spanking new NBA2k12 in the console!!!!!
 
I hate Madden more than usual tonight. Am I going crazy or shouldn't a punt be declared a dead ball if the kicking team touches it? In my game against the Redskins, he punted and when he controlled a player in an apparent attempt to keep the ball from going into the end zone he touched it. He bounced into one of my players and he recovered. WTF.
 
my xbox live membership expired and it wont let me renew it...its sayin try again later. cru your gonna have to find a new sub, or wait till tomorrow when i get this thing workin again hopefully

Sounds right to me. That sucks man. Myself, I am pretty much done with non league games for the most part now. I do pretty well in quick matches, but 99% are such douches, I don't get any enjoyment from playing. Or some stupid BS happens like that..and since it is likely it is a fucking moron I am playing instead of someone I can respect, it pisses me off more.

This league, in my opinion, is a shell of it's former self. Hardly anyone plays respectfully and I know because I'm struggling this season it's going to come off as sour grapes, but I think the mainstays know that isn't the case because I haven't complained in previous seasons. It is what it is.

I have only been in this league for ten games, but I can't think of any game where someone didn't play sim ball or respectfully. I remember all 5 of my losses (MasterAwesome, Apple, Cru, Yanksrule, Zurezo) and the first four could have rubbed it in more than they did. They didn't though, they all pulled back once the game was out of reach and ran the clock out. Zurezo was a close game to the end and he played well too.

To speak specifically to our game in Week 3, I got up early and in the 2nd half, had a 21-7 lead and didn't attempt to run it up at that point and ran the ball. You got back into the game, pulled within 3 as a result at the end and I had to recover an onside kick to squeak out the win. I guess that is playing with no respect for your own opponent though.
 
I'm clueless when it comes to systems and how technology works so any input on this would be great

SO I got a new power cord, and I'm 95% sure (from what the guys at gamestop have been telling me) that it is the right power cord. But the X-Box still gives me absolutely no lights, no nothing.

One guy I talked to at a local place which fixes X-Box's (a referal from a Game Stop). Is positive my X-box is still under Microsoft warranty (bought in in late 2010). And it has some sticker on it when I remove the front cover that he said means I have a warantee still.

Then he goes on to tell me to lie to Microsoft and to say it has 3 yellow lights and they'll fix it anyways cause they wont check.

(after I look up what the yellow lights are)

Any ideas or advice on this guys plan? Or I guess any ideas on why not to tell Microsoft the real issue? He really didn't elaborate, saying this would be easier

As both one of the "mainstays" and one of the commissioners in the league, I'd honestly prefer you just come out and say what your specific issue is rather than just making vague assertions.

I'm guessing your issue is with the Redskins running up the score, which looking at the box certainly seems like a possibility. But unless you actually let us know what the issue is, it's impossible for us to address it.

Raiders and I were supposed to play at 10 PM EST, but according to Doom he fell asleep, lol. I've PMed Doom about finding when he's available tomorrow, but would anyone be willing to be a Plan B just in case? I'll be available from 5 tomorrow evening to the wee hours of Wednesday morning.
 
i maybe open to sub tommrow my wife and i arent really to into the whole valtines fake holiday so depending on her mood and the leagues approval i could sub if need be

Sorry, that was absolutely it. In the second half, I was running the ball to try and run out the clock myself. He finally got the hint at the end, but again it is what it is.
 
I found out last night that I don't have to work tonight and I can play after 5:30 est until about 6 or after 9 est. I did PM Matt Young but it was late and I haven't gotten a response yet.

We shouldn't have any problem advancing tonight I'd think.

Google is your friend. The slims are glossy and the hard drive is internal, not on the top of the system.
 
Well lost to the Steelers in a close one. Something like 22-17, but getting greedy at the end of the first half and giving up 3 points was what really killed me. Started the second half with a nice drive that ended in a fumble and never really got my momentum back. Didn't really make too many mistakes that cost me other than that, but it was enough.

Not looking forward to having to play the Chiefs in my next game.

There are 2 different cords for the old ones just call that number or look on Xbox.com for ways to fix it if you can't I think they still have the two year warranty
