I skipped Madden 11, but there is a pretty big difference from Madden 10 to Madden 12. The AI was overhauled, from blocking to routes to reaction time on defense. There are still some quirks and it is far from perfect. But it definitely plays a lot different from 10 to me.
 
Please pass me what you're smokin bseti. Must be something crazy if you think Madden is one of the elite sports games that come out every year.

EA can't make another baseball game because they don't have the license.

I do. We did 2 seasons in MLB 2K11. No "strikes only" crap though... that takes most of the strategy out of the game.

2k is garbage....nba 2k and mlb 2k are so average its not even funny. The physics are glitchy n shitty. I just like playing them cuz they're the only basketball n baseball games out there. EA makes a much better sports game. Fifa,nhl and madden run shit...I was readin this morning that 2k is probably not even gonna make another baseball game after this year. and with nba 2k, how do u make an nba game without a 3 point contest?

Yea strikes only takes a lot out of it. But some don't know how to throw strikes, and it makes having a good gesture crucial. You can paint corners, but if u get a bad gesture its usually a meatball. I'm down for whatever tho if we can get a few teams.

You really think the arcadey style of NBA Live is superior to 2k? There's a reason they got the doors blown off them every year in sales and reviews.

Fifa and NHL are awesome, that I can agree with. And MLB 2k is pretty mediocre now. The Show is so much better.

2K12 is a great game. It's just tiresome online playing bandwagon fans who just dominate with Lebron, Durant and Melo.

And I don't think anybody cares about a 3 point contest. I'll take legends over that any day.
 
I agree live sucked on xbox, but it was insane on ps3. I'm jus not impressed at all with the gameple in nba 2k. I just hate 2k compared to EA. I guess I'm the minority tho.

I think madden gets better and less arcadey every year. Yea its always gonna have its flaws but u just gotta adapt. Its better than any 2k game tho.

Take pitches and let them walk you all day. I had a decent eye when playing mlb2k11 online.

Yea I hear u, if a kid iss wild at all I just take a strike. You can only play strikes only againsst friends I believe anyway it was jus somethin me n sprice we're fkin around with. Its fun but it does take a lot of stradegy out of the game. I just hate kids who throw balls constantly.
 
i was just reading bout how 2k is goin down the shitter and EA is gonna take over with mvp baseball again and a new basketball game. once 2k's license with mlb runs out after this year its highly unlikely they will resign since the game has made them no money.
 
EA just shouldn't make a basketball game. It's been terrible and their changeover to NBA Elite was a disaster. I'd like to see them make MVP baseball though.

If Madden ever loses the license though, I'm back on the 2k wagon. 2k football was way ahead of its time.
 
well madden 13 could be the last madden becuz to contract between ea sports and the nfl is up after that game. so there could be a nfl 2k14. which would be interesting. i did like the 2k games alot they really opened the door to better football games. i remeber the dream cast days it was amazing the games seemed so unreal then. i like the idea of only one having the rights but i just hope the right creators get the contract it would suck knowing 2k could make a better game which in the past it would prove that they would do better than ea sports.

The Jets continue their tour of the NFC West with a 27-10 win over the Niners.

San Fran looked pretty dominant out of the gate, driving down for a TD on their first drive. I didn't have much of an answer in that first half, but was still able to keep Cru to 10 points. I had two FGs making it 10-6 at the half.

The 2nd half was all Jets as they put up 21 unanswered points. The running game finally opened up. Greene out-dueled Gore, 157 yards to 90, and put the game away for good with a 73-yard run. Kaepernick had 5 INTs, most (if not all) in the 2nd half. 3 of them went to Ndukwe as he ripped a couple bombs out of the air. Unfortunately on the last one he got a herniated disk and will be out for the season barring a deep playoff run by the Jets. Real bummer, but we have depth there.

The Packers have reached .500! DVO played a good game but my 5 interceptions, including 3 by defensive player of the week Charles Woodson, really turned the tide in my favor.

Green Bay Packers 31, Jacksonville Jaguars 14

Looks to be a great playoff race shaping up in the AFC. Patriots can clinch the division with a win or a Jets loss in the next 4 weeks. Still with some work to do to lock up a bye though. Should be a great WC battle between the Jets, Ravens/Steelers, and Chiefs/Chargers (working against the Jets it having lost to both the Chargers and Steelers, so they should be rooting for those teams to win their divisions as far as tie-breakers are concerned). The Dolphins have an outside shot to sneak back in, though they probably need to win out.

I'm sure Doom will have a playoff post soon to give us all the scenarios. ;)

yea broncos falcons will go down either later tonight when reds gets off work or at some point tomorrow, im available mostly all day and id imagine he is too...

Yeah, I really made things difficult on myself losing to both of them. I did a quick look at the schedule and the Steelers have the Ravens and the Chargers have the Chiefs down the line. Not sure how the rest of it looks for them, but it's good to know they have at least 1 really tough one left.

I still have the Rams and the Texans off the top of my head which should be tough as well.

edit: I believe the Chargers/Steelers have both had their share of sims too, but I think they've lucked out on all of them.

Even with a Chiefs loss to the Saints, the Chiefs would still have the edge over the Jets in a tiebreak. Their next loss would have to be a conference loss in order for other tiebreakers to kick in.

I don't know about the Chargers, but the Steelers have at least one sim loss, and I think it's actually two.

The team with the best chance at the 1 seed outside of the Pats is actually the Chargers, since the Pats hold the head-to-head over both the Chiefs and Ravens. Will be interesting to see if I'm even going for the 1 seed though, at this point I'd likely be resting starters once I wrap up a bye.
 
Baltimore still has the Redskins, Steelers, and Chargers on their schedule. I have a small shot at the 2 seed.

BTW I believe Steelers-Raiders was supposed to happen tonight. Not sure what happened.
