Madden 13 Official CAG League - On Hiatus. See you in August for Madden 25!
A friendly reminder to everyone that DT Ty Warren remains bugged and is unusable in-game, so don't go trying to sign him.

All your FAs belong to me

Noticed you made an offer on him:
Is this real life??? This JUST happened in our league a few days ago.
Apparently the Texans signed Ty Warren. Good luck. He's your problem now.

lol...hope he wasn't asking for a bonus. Otherwise, that's some money pissed away.

Nah no bonus from FA. He is definitely an upgrade and allowed me to clear some room at DT

TY Warren is glitched he is always hurt bro

Oh....wait nu uh? No fair!

LOL there was so much talk about this. I am disappointed in you, everyone was saying some fool would pick him up...
LMAO

The worst is that the Colts in the other league picked him up, after both the Broncos and Texans had dropped him. You can always tell who doesn't read the thread closely.

I would have immediately remembered who he was if it showed injuries in this free agency like normal free agency.

sure ;)

I withdrew my offer on Britt because I was told a team had exclusive rights on him. Why exactly do the Raiders and Bears have offers out to him still?

Don't see why this was necessary, it's a lot different giving my friend in real life a little shit then having to go around pointing things out cause I got nothing better to do. I am playing in 3 leagues. Like I pointed out if it showed he was injured I would have remembered who he was, unlike in regular free agency where it shows they are injured. I can only keep up with each thread so much. It seems you always have a holier than thou attitude, and are always ready jump on people's cases from the get go. I think I'm just going to put you on ignore at this point, I hope all post related to league activity will be posted from CagLeagueSports.

Tanabeo said he wasn't able to withdraw his offer. We'll make sure they do so in week 2.

I wasn't talking about you, I was talking about the Colts owner in the other league. You didn't even sign him. You bidded, then remembered and removed your offer. I don't think anyone is trying insult you.

the real wes welker would get a little strong safety in his pants if he was offered the kinda money im givin him...then again the real wes welker is a little butter fingered bitch who couldnt hold troy browns jock, but i still want him on my squad hah def overpayin for him tho if i do get him

What team has his rights?

The Arizona Cardinals have finally given up on trying to move Michael Vick's immovable contract and cut their losses freeing up an extra 14 million in cap.

Edit: The Cardinals currently have 54 million in cap, so if anyone is looking to dump a player in a contract year definitely send me a. P.M

Ha, that 21 million makes vick's contract look tiny. If anythink I'd go for Wilfork instead.

Holy crap, man. Are you that sensitive? It was a joke. The entire Ty Warren debacle is a joke. I just found it amusing that you were aware enough of the situation to give your buddy a hard time about it (which to me seemed to indicate that you knew about the issue), but then turned around and tried to sign the guy yourself. It's not a huge deal. It wasn't a huge deal when doc signed him or when neworlbush signed him. It's just humorous. If that really offends you that much, I apologize.

Sorry to bring this to the thread, guys. Like I said, I just thought the sequence of events was funny.

im still wondering if john abraham is going to retire on me its the last year of his contract im hoping he finishes it out with me

I offered britt the contract he was asking for I'm hoping he doesn't sign with the bears or raiders because I would hate to have to do a drop and sign and only get him for one season instead of the four he was asking smh
any word on the falcon's trades. the window is closing on the advancement deadline
4 People have Voted. You'll know as soon as we do. I promise.

ok sounds good
I really don't believe that the offer can't be withdrawn on a player. It is an option every time in free agency.
It can be.

While in fa the right trigger can take u to my negotiations and he has to click on Britt and withdraw offer.. I did it last night

Mystery solved. Perdition(Troy, your inbox is full. If you could delete some messages and then message me back, that'd be great.

thanks guys
so far one trade has been put thru and the numbers i expected are correct so its looking like this offseason might work out for me as long as RE Smith signs during the offseason which i think he will i offered him the middle of his bottom and top dollar asking price. and if Abraham doesnt retire that D-Line will stay strong. and the other trade has been put thru.

Decided I am not going to go after Welker, I was offering him 16 mil a year. I am going after Hester, figure I didn't need both of them.

If you hit dismis on fa offers tab under my actions you can't get back into fa any other way

We may have a bigger problem as my Internet is out if its not on by tomorrow I will have to take my Xbox over to a friends house and withdraw my offer that way
Just wondering if the commissioners have developed a completed schedule for the rest of the offseason?
We'll do 1 FA week per day, which would have us finished with that Thursday night. Then a couple of days for scouting/trades/etc and the draft on whatever day we decide. I'm pulling for Sunday.

I don't believe I'm missing any phases, am I?

Would love to have the draft late Friday night or Saturday afternoon. Either is great for me as Saturday at 2 just seems like an idea time where it does not conflict with anyone's dinner plans.

Peyton officially back with the Browns. I would also like to welcome my new #1 CB Brandon Browner who brings much needed talent to the position. Additionally the Browns signed RB Jerome Harrison for depth and WR Johnny Knox. Knox should help provide Peyton with a deep threat, something that was lacking on my roster.
And Ike Taylor disappeared...
He probably retired, they can do so at any point in the offseason. I'm holding my breath on Champ Bailey each time we advance, even though I have the CB Retirement Package.

that didnt help me with Tony G. that douche signed a new contract then retired 2 advancements later. new contract and package didnt save me.

Is that it? I offered some of these guys huge contracts. All I got was 3 out of like 12 players. I am pretty pissed about this cause I was hoping this would be my chance to rebuild.

Settle down, dude. There are 3 weeks of FA, very few guys sign the first week. None of the players I made offers to signed with me.

There are 2 More Weeks.....And you do realize there's this thing called a Salary Cap, right?

Both of your 7 year contracts are a little extravagant;)
