The Dirty Birds top the Smeagles 23-10

Turnovers were the reason for this win with 2 INTs and 2 fourced fumbles both recovered and one fumble return for a TD to lock the game up in the fourth Quarter plus 3 sacks which one caused the fumble for the TD.

Matt Ryan went 10 for 17 on the night with 197 yards 1 TD and Zero Picks.
Taiwan Jones had 12 carries for 62 yards
DeAngelo Williams had 7 carries for 11 yards (found him in FA looking for a job his new job closing out games)
Mike Wallace had 3 catches for 92 yards one for 54 yards on a deep bomb.
Earl Bennett had 3 catches for 36 yards.
Julio Jones had 1 catch for 42 yards and a TD

So far so good with Chris Gamble he's all over his WRs shutting them down and deflecting passes his first 2 games with the Falcons have made a very positive outlook for the future.

GG LV i thought McCoy was going to make a comeback once u got him going but time wasnt on ur side for u to keep running. i was glad to see that my adjustments also slowed him down.

Manningham came out of this game with 16 Receptions 269 Yards, 2 Td's..... I had nobody on my team that wanted to stop him, apparently. I Quad Covered him 3 plays in a row, and he still caught the ball. Insane.

Broncos-Chiefs going down tonight.

Probably as close to a must win game for the Chiefs as you can get in Week 8, at least where the division is concerned. Should be a fun one, I expect a low scoring affair.

Yeah they are generated by the site. I'm guessing they take point differential into consideration and is one of the main things that it's judge based on.

Broncos fall to the Chiefs 21-15. All three Charles TDs came on the same exact play (or very similar, anyway), which I was obviously ill-equipped to stop. Back to the lab!

It might, I really can't say, sorry.

That is a good reminder that the trade deadline is this week, though I think it's probably a bit late for any deals to be in the works.

gg man. After you kicked that FG my batteries died and I was in a mad scramble to find some, sorry for the delays. There won't be any highlights because as I was sprinting around looking for batteries I unplugged the capture card.

Anyway, Charles had a great game for the first time ever against BV. Key to the win was not letting Weeden touch the ball. He was 2 for 6 and fumbled the ball in the 2Q. The Chiefs D stopped the Broncos in the 4Q inside the red zone to get the win. I think Charles had 225 yards on 17 carries. Most of the big ones coming off two plays that just seemed to gouge BVs defense. Normally my guys don't block like that but it seemed like Champ would get turned around instead of making a tackle.

I always hit gameflow after a TD and it almost bit me. I had two shots to go for 2 and didn't do it.

The TOP and first down stats go to show how much better my offense was, but sometimes it's the big plays that win games, and that was the case here.

That's not to take anything away from you, since you played well enough to win, it's just frustrating to continually sustain drives and play generally well on defense, but get gashed by the same play for 3 TDs.

Bottom line is I had two drives to win it on offense at the end and couldn't get it done, so I guess that's ultimately the difference. I'll be ready for that little pitch to the right next time. ;)
 
Any suggestions as to whether i should cancel my game or not?

EDIT: I'll go for it. Sucks for me if this trade doesn't go through.

Yeah your DE decided to slide across the field and grab him, how high is that guys pursuit rating?

I can't believe how lopsided it really was. You should've won, no doubt about it. I only ran like 30 plays where you ran at least 50. It is what it is. My offense is really limited because I suck at it. My playbook has basically been distilled down to about 15 plays and I have to rely on my defense to come up with a stop once in awhile.

Weeden can make the throws, I'm just not good at making the right decisions. I did make a good decision by stealing some of what Doom does though :cool:

Jaron Archer is a beast. He's the guy I traded 2 first rounders to move up and get in the draft. 85 speed, 85 pursuit. 83 block shed. 80+ in both finesse and power. He's a vacuum cleaner over there. Oh, and he's Superstar development. :D

Imagining how insane he's going to be once I've got a full season of XP in him is a fun pastime.

It was definitely lopsided, but I wouldn't go so far as to say I should have won. TDs are TDs, even if they come on big plays. They're just more frustrating for me than sustained drives because I usually tend to make people earn it all the way down the field. I'm sure for some people the opposite is more frustrating.

That running the ball is the key to beating the Broncos is no secret at this point. Uber beat me last season with a very similar gameplan, as did Mog earlier this season. Not a lot of people who come in looking pass first have found too much success.

Anyway, hard to be too upset going to the bye 6-2, though my schedule after it is absolutely brutal. You needed this game more than I did though, so kudos on pulling it out.
 
I forgot the most annoying play of the game, on your very first drive when Haden dropped a pick that hit him right in the hands with absolutely nobody between him and the endzone. If I had a dollar for every time that jerk dropped one of those, yet he always seems to catch the ones at impossible angles over his shoulder. :roll:
 
I don't think I can win a game this season. My defense likes to falcon punch the ball instead of picking it I missed one to many picks this game.

I know there's a couple other golfers in the league... How insane was today's action in the Match Play? Tiger and Rory both lose, as well as a bunch of other high seeds. One of the reasons I love this tournament.
 
Bucs come out with another win. They looked great on both sides of the ball.

Bucs 45 Cowboys 7

freeman looked great with a perfect QBR and 4 TD. SS Stuart Bass had a big game as well with 3 INT and Shields added another pick each added 6 points as well.

The OFF put up 287 yards total while the D held the Cowboys to only 63 yards total OFF.

I expected Rory to lose..he hasn't played in a tournament yet this year! and he has all new equipment...It's gotta be tough going from the best Equipment manufacturer in Golf to Nike! As for Tiger i expected more from him yesterday. Charles Howell III are you shittin me?
 
I been in contact with the Seahawks owner we haven't confirmed a time for this evening but I told him before I wouldn't be available til tonight, once he replies with the time he is available I will know and can let you guys know
