Madden 13 Official CAG League - On Hiatus. See you in August for Madden 25!
I don't think you can stack them. What do you mean 'stayed in place?'
as in i bought the package but its still there for me to buy again if i wanted to

After discussing it with ubernes and fero, we've all agreed that it's best we found a new owner for the Browns. It's unfortunate, because SaintsRow is a pretty decent guy, but he just hasn't been communicative enough for league standards. I told him that if he's ever got more time for the league and can really commit, we'd welcome him back.

I've PMed the next guy on the waiting list, hopefully we can fill that spot soon.

Due to a horribly disappointing season and only time for one league Carl Winslow informed the Rooney family today that he will be putting in his resignation effective today.

He is moving down to coach in the CFL (Gents League) for a few season to work on his skills. He hopes to return again soon.

Winslow was 2-8 in his first year in the CAG League.

I think BSeti posted last week about one of our friends trying to join the league. I'll try and get him to post himself now that his CAG account should be active.

So hopefully there will be one more user on the waiting list.

Why not finish out the season? You've already traded for Fitz and dumped Wallace.

You have no idea how painful and how boring it is when your team doesn't even make it across the 50 in 3 quarters every game. And how frustrating it is to lose every game by 40+. It took all of the excitement out of it. I love my team and would love to keep playing and use my picks etc but I just can't force myself to continue to sit through it. It's not fun at all.

Yeah, have him post the details.
Please put me on the waiting list.

Gamertag - Specbob7

Availability - Weekdays after 430, Weekends whenever.

Time Zone: Eastern
Will do.
I have a buddy that would like to join the league e making hip CAG name
Sure, post his details once he joins and I'll put him on the list.

I've PMed the top 2 guys on the list, so we'll see if they both want in. Whoever gets back to me first can take their choice of teams (I'm assuming the Steelers will be more desirable).

Also, does anyone know if Deuce is ready to come back? He's next on the waiting list after these two guys.

I understand completely. A lot of us have been there, even some of us who are pretty good at the game now.

Good luck with working on your game in the other league. If you feel like you've improved down the line you're welcome to come back, although in that case I hope you stick with it because we really don't want people hopping in and out.
i know aftershock would want the steelers for sure its his favorite nfl team
Hopefully he gets back to me first then.

would a text from him telling me he wants them work i know hes working late tonight and going to be away from the computer and internet more than likely until 11 central tonight

I sent him an invite. Now just to fill the Browns.

I'm the Browns in the other league and its really hard cuz they suck, but if no one else is willing to take them ill step up again and take them. Lol

i was just wondering if we are still doing a free agent pick in week 12 i know you said something before so i was just wondering?

Denver Broncos 34 - San Diego Chargers 7

The good version of this Broncos team decided to make a reappearance in time for this huge division game. The offense played well, but really this was all about a ridiculously great performance from the Broncos defense. Both my pass rush and my secondary played great, which is a pretty deadly combination for any offense. With the win, the Broncos move to 6-4 and into sole possession of 1st in the AFC West (for now...)

Brock Osweiler was 10 of 15 for 201 yards, 2 TDs and 0 INTs.

Tebow was 7 of 20 for 68 yards (41 of those coming on one play), 0 TDs and 2 picks.

McFadden had 13 carries for 93 yards and 2 scores. McGahee was mostly used in short yardage, carrying 11 times for 14 yards (but also coughed up a fumble, though thankfully the game was in hand at that point).

Mathews carried 7 times for 41 yards, though 28 of those came on his first carry. After that he was handled pretty well. Tebow carried 5 times for 27 yards and the Chargers' lone TD (a risky play running it in with 10 seconds left in the half and no timeouts, which was a smart move since it was the one play I wasn't expecting it).

Demaryius Thomas had 4 catches for 69 yards and a TD, while Dexter McCluster had 2 for 94, including an 81 yard score.

Eddie Royal had the lone big play of the day for the Chargers, catching a pretty deep ball for 41 yards which set up their TD.

Von Miller had a big day, with 5 tackles (4 for loss) including 2 sacks and a fumble recovery. The Broncos also got sacks from Williams, Wolfe and Mays and picks from Rahim Moore and (who else?) Tracy Porter. They also stopped the Chargers twice on 4th down from deep in their own territory, getting to Tebow both times.

The Chargers managed 3 sacks against Osweiler, and also forced a McGahee fumble.

gg Joely! I've definitely been preparing for the Tebow-centric attack since you've put it in place, and I think I handled it pretty well for the most part.
I texted Widdow asking if he has anything scheduled for Pats-Colts. But I have not heard anything back from him.
Okay. Well I'm going to plan to advance after the debate tonight. So he's got until then to play.

Hopefully mog has played the CPU by then as well.

I forgot. Yeah, we can do one. I'll figure out the details tomorrow and hopefully we can start tomorrow night.

I just called him, he said he is going to give contacting the Colts another shot. I told him about the deadline and to post in here or pm you if he needs an auto-pilot

Neither guy has posted in the thread saying they haven't been able to get in touch. I don't see how we can give someone a CPU game in that situation. Hopefully they get in touch and can play tonight.

Oh ok, whatever works for the league.

GG man. Von Miller is a monster. Tebow had nowhere to go.
GG man. Von Miller is a monster. Tebow had nowhere to go.
He really is. I drafted him in my offline franchise fantasy draft, and I've got him up to 99 finesse, 92 power, and 99 block shedding. He's basically unstoppable. Can't believe I ever considered moving him.

He only sacked Tebow twice, but he must have gotten a hand on him half a dozen times. Basically played the whole game in Tebow's back pocket. Just where I want him. :D

If Hammurabi doesn't want them (possible, since he passed up the Bucs when they came up) then you'll probably get them. I'm assuming Deuce isn't ready to come back yet.

I don't know why I do this to myself. Lol

Have the previous owners made any trades?

Yup. With me. Which I definitely regret, since he gave us his word he was going to improve his communication. I'm obviously too trusting.
The Browns quit ?

Glorious.
He didn't quit. We made the decision, he's just become far too hard to reach.

I fully accept that some people will say it was a mistake for me to trade with him. In hindsight, obviously it was. But what's done is done.
What players has he traded? And who did he get back?
Joe Haden, Brandon Weeden. Peyton Manning, Jacob Tamme (plus a couple of other scrubs).
God damnit really. I was looking forward to keeping Joe Haden this time. There's no other teams available right?
Not at the moment, no. Teams really don't open up that often, I'd be surprised if we had another opening before the offseason (if even then).

I feel sorry for whoever the new browns owner is because he is going to have to play these high powered raiders

I dont know if you have my availability but Steelers availability goes like this:

Sun Mon Wed Thurs - anytime after 7:30-8:00ish central
Tues Fri Sat - anytime

Clash of the Titans tomorrow evening.

Texans 8-2 @ Lions 8-2

Looking forward to this one. Won two regular season meetings last year and got trashed in the Superbowl. For the most part though, our games are always competitive.

With respect to Tennessee, I think you should change this to "Clash of the Really, Really Good Teams". ;)

Tried to squeeze in our game tonight but it was really laggy. Back on schedule for tomorrow evening.

Good luck with Comcast Sprice. Hopefully they find the issue.
