Denver Broncos 34 - San Diego Chargers 7
The good version of this Broncos team decided to make a reappearance in time for this huge division game. The offense played well, but really this was all about a ridiculously great performance from the Broncos defense. Both my pass rush and my secondary played great, which is a pretty deadly combination for any offense. With the win, the Broncos move to 6-4 and into sole possession of 1st in the AFC West (for now...)
Brock Osweiler was 10 of 15 for 201 yards, 2 TDs and 0 INTs.
Tebow was 7 of 20 for 68 yards (41 of those coming on one play), 0 TDs and 2 picks.
McFadden had 13 carries for 93 yards and 2 scores. McGahee was mostly used in short yardage, carrying 11 times for 14 yards (but also coughed up a fumble, though thankfully the game was in hand at that point).
Mathews carried 7 times for 41 yards, though 28 of those came on his first carry. After that he was handled pretty well. Tebow carried 5 times for 27 yards and the Chargers' lone TD (a risky play running it in with 10 seconds left in the half and no timeouts, which was a smart move since it was the one play I wasn't expecting it).
Demaryius Thomas had 4 catches for 69 yards and a TD, while Dexter McCluster had 2 for 94, including an 81 yard score.
Eddie Royal had the lone big play of the day for the Chargers, catching a pretty deep ball for 41 yards which set up their TD.
Von Miller had a big day, with 5 tackles (4 for loss) including 2 sacks and a fumble recovery. The Broncos also got sacks from Williams, Wolfe and Mays and picks from Rahim Moore and (who else?) Tracy Porter. They also stopped the Chargers twice on 4th down from deep in their own territory, getting to Tebow both times.
The Chargers managed 3 sacks against Osweiler, and also forced a McGahee fumble.

gg Joely! I've definitely been preparing for the Tebow-centric attack since you've put it in place, and I think I handled it pretty well for the most part.
