Denver Broncos 24 - Kansas City Chiefs 20
The Broncos faced their second tough division matchup and once again passed the test, albeit by a much more slender margin this time. This was an odd game insofar as it was a defensive struggle which hinged on huge plays where there was a defensive breakdown, including a couple long TDs by Charles, a bomb to Thomas, and a punt return TD by former Chief McCluster.
Brock Osweiler didn't throw much, going 6 of 8 for 128 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT.
Brandon Weeden couldn't find much all day, going 3 for 11 for 45 yards, no TDs or picks. His receivers also dropped a bunch of passes (some due to Denver pressure, some not).
McFadden carried 18 times for 132 yards and a TD.
Charles carried 14 times for 177 yards and 2 TDs.
Demaryius Thomas was only targeted twice all game, once it was a pick and the second time it was an 80 yard TD for his only catch.
Bowe lead the Chiefs with one catch for 26 yards.
Justin Bannan had the only sack for a Broncos team that pretty much rushed just 3 all game. McCluster had the big play returning a punt for a TD (which caused the Chiefs to kick the next one short out of bounds, giving the Broncos a short field for a FG to make it 17-10 at the time).
Javier Arenas had the game's lone turnover on a pick.

gg staticz! Very evenly matched as I expected, glad I was able to emerge on top!
Broncos move to 7-4, still looking to wrap up the division early so I don't have to worry about losing it when I'm away on vacation.
