I thought you weren't welcome in Hawaii after the last time. ;)
And let me guess they did it incorrectly and peyton is a free agent?
Should he still be under Browns control? I wouldn't have any objection to letting them sign him.

You would think he would be under my control. I have nothing at all to show for that awful trade the former Browns owner did.

You've made your point, there's no need to keep bringing it up.

That was the first time I mentioned Peyton. Also it was an awful trade though I can understand why you don't want to talk about further considering how well you made out.
Do I get first shot at Peyton? Considering my roster and the fact that he was mine, I think I should.
I'd have no objection to that. I'll discuss it with uber and fero.

Sweet, Bart Scott stuck around! I didn't realize how many FA's from last years pool stayed on my roster. I had 7 FAs starting for me :p
That was the first time I mentioned Peyton.
I'm talking about the "awful trade". It was made in season one, the thing you should be pissed about was the original Browns owner (this is like 3 guys ago) not getting the retirement package for Manning. The trade made sense for them at the time, it was just really poorly handled from that point forward.

FYI - If a play retires while he is still under contract and then decides to unretire the team who previously owned his contract has rights to the player. Of course this is in the real NFL not Madden :D

I had a bunch as well, including half my d-line. We will see how much Dockett and Haynesworth want to stick around.

Fair enough. Yeah we'll he certainly did screw up big time.

In real life, when a player retires and comes back he still has to serve out the remainder of his contract with his current team. Hence, why Brett Favre needed to convince the Jets to release him before he could sign with Minny. If that wasn't a rule, players that are unhappy with their situation would just "retire" and "unretire".
Prater only got it because he didn't miss, I think he had like 13 field goals or something. Didn't make the pro bowl though.
Horse shit. Succoup was 32/32

Kicker fight!

Makes perfect sense. This would help answer one of my biggest off-season tasks.

I'm 1.34 million dollars over the cap this year, thanks to the real life Panthers lol. I never made a single trade over the course of the league nor did I sign any big contracts (a few back-up players). So I can't re-sign any of my players this year lol. I put off all the contract negotiations until the offseason, but now all of my players with expiring contracts are showing up as "Unavailable" as if I already tried negotiating with them during the regular season, which I didn't. I don't think that's related to my cap at all, but for the few players I CAN negotiate with (the FAs I picked up this year), I'm over the cap so I can't do anything with them lol. I released one of my players, freeing up 4 million dollars in cap space (according to the game), but it didn't change my cap number for some reason...I'm still 1.34 million over the cap.

Oh well, no real superstars that I'm letting go this season...a bunch of quality back-ups though.

The Browns will be given exclusive rights to Peyton Manning, since we all agreed that he should still be under their control by real NFL rules, and also because he'd probably still be there if the original owner had bought the retirement package. Just make sure you give him what he's asking and don't lowball him, though I don't think he'd sign for less anyway.

Tracy Porter new stats after i upgraded him.

MCV 91
ZCV 81
PRS 88
CTH 70
SPD 93

looking for a speedy number 2 WR has to have 80 plus hands

Remember that Madden sets aside cap room for rookies. That may well be the issue here.

Rb Ahmad Bradshaw 85 Ovr
RE Osi Umenyiora 87 Ovr
CB Corey Webster 83 Ovr 95 Zone Coverage 89 Man

Not sure what would cause young players who have good years to regress, but Osweiler lost several points in accuracy from where I'd built him up, which is pretty frustrating.

yeh freeman lost a couple 2 i was like what lol

My guys don't seem to be in a negotiating mood. Everyone I've offered a deal has either immediately accepted it or immediately rejected it.

Darnell Dockett is definitely going back to FA, his contract demands are insane and Derek Wolfe can give me 95% of the production for a fraction of the price. Dockett wasn't bad for a 1-year rental though.

Oops, I didn't realize that Justin Bannan had retired before I started negotiating with Haynesworth (who rejected my offer). Looks like the fat man might get the franchise tag if I have the cap room.

Edit: Nevermind, just remembered how many key guys I need to re-sign next season. No room for Fat Albert.

Only fa that plays that I'm losing is William Gay. And that leaves me with 30 plus million in cap. I'm liking my outlook for the 2013 offseason.

Damn! I've got 12 million but need to sign about 12 guys lol.

Champ Bailey is back on the block. I have a hard time believing this won't be his last season, especially since it's his contract year, so treat it as a one-year rental of an elite CB. Mostly looking for a good Center, but I'm open to other ideas as well.
Please pull this off Atlanta. Fake 49er fans make me sick.
 Are you serious? All the Atlanta teams have the worst fans of any city. It's ridiculous. They don't even show up for playoff games half the time.

I'm rooting for Atlanta as well, though for different reasons. I think they've got a chance, you can throw on this Niners D. They need to stop running on 1st-and-10 though.

Edit: Like I said. :D

 Man when I first moved here they were all in hiding. Now they're all over the place.

I guess the same can be said for any city that miraculously turns their team around, but when you also factor in the Giants World Series wins, it's bandwagon city in the bay area.

Lol, I love Goldson with the classic "turn around and hold out your arms asking who blew the coverage" move. You, dude, it was you.
