Madden 13 Official CAG League - On Hiatus. See you in August for Madden 25!
We looked at his ratings. Nobody thinks he's bad, we just don't think he's close to an elite player. Which Barron is.
Just curious how is he elite as a 82 over safety?
Just curious how is he elite as a 82 over safety?
OVR isn't everything, you know that better than anybody, sprice. He's got the highest zone coverage for a SS in the game, and also a ridiculous 84 man coverage. He's also fast and can tackle and hit hard. And catch. He does everything well, he's an elite safety.

Didn't get that top corner I wanted, someone must have paid him well cause I was offering 9 mil/yr. I was even tinkering with it 10 minutes before we advanced thinking I should offer him more. I got everyone else though. My rebuilding is almost complete, hopefully this is what I needed.

Both my fs and my ss have 80+ man and zone to bad I still suck at def

And Warner's is an upgrade from Pryor maybe I can start moving the ball with him 90 thp 98 sac 95 mac 91 dac
Can anyone let me know if I got any of my targets? I am the Browns.
You can't see the FA signing screen after the advance, so you'd need to check each roster individually. If you let us know who your targets were, we can tell you.

Manningham is the one I want to know the most.

Hey I was wondering if someone would be able to post the draft order? I believe I pick 8th or 9th and would like to slide into 11th-14th and didnt know if a lot of people traded their first rounders or not.
What about the WR Benn and TE Heap?
Nope. I feel you man, all I got was a punter. :wall:

I really thought I was gonna grab Spikes away from the Patriots, I offered him twice what he was asking.. Unfortunately the Pats offered him 4 times as much.
oops. apparently i signed ty warren. got him up on the trade block if anyone's interested....
Nobody fall for this! ;)
oops. apparently i signed ty warren. got him up on the trade block if anyone's interested....
Why would anyone be interested in an unusable player?

well i got all 7 players i wanted in FA for all good prices and still have almost 6 mill in cap space very great offseason for the falcons. now if that last trade works out it will almost be perfect. which the only problem i could see the committee having is the 7th rounder being in it as pointless which staticz and i both agreed it could be removed if need be. also excited for the draft since the time it will be at i can make it for sure and might have fun with my 1 or 2 picks. and oddly enough i have more cap space then i did when the league started with this team and i have much better players than what i started off with so my thinking ahead of the future with trades plan has worked.

it usually depends on the deal for most people
I offered manningham 4 years 20M the colts bid 20.4 they most have been screen looking when I made my offer
I offered a six year deal for 37 million. I don't get how I missed out on him.

that is strange
Looking to grab another draft pick in the first 3 rounds. I am the browns. Anyone interested in making a deal?
Send me a p.m about what your interested in. All my picks are available and I have a bunch of low to mid 80 players available.

Off the top of my head-
Andre Roberts-Wr, Mike Williams-Wr, Emmanuel Sanders-Wr, Harry Douglas-Wr, Andre hubbard-Wr, Dan Williams-Dt, Aaron Maybin-Olb, Chris Johnson-CB, Greg Toler-Cb, Iloka-Fs and for the right(very expensive)price even Patrick Peterson or Lawrence Timmons can be had.

My picks are the 30th of every round and I have someone else's 3rd(not sure who's). Ill even open up next years picks to be available as well

EDIT: A lot of my players, I'm just looking to get a 2nd or 3rd round in return.

Yeah I offered 3 million/yr. to one of my WRs (Dozier) and Chetty got him for 2 mil/yr....I really needed that S.O.B. with Stevie retiring too. I guess he was the worst kept secret, I think there were 4 or 5 people who bid on him last time I checked.

I guess I'm targeting WR in the draft!

lol trust me if i didnt get stevie johnson and bennett i would have been on him. right before the seasoned ended i looked at all WR stats that only had 1 year left on there contract incase they hit FA and he was on my radar only thing that sucks about him was his injury rating

Lol yeah he never missed a single snap for me all season though...he was so fast with the 95 speed/99 acceleration that he just flew by everyone untouched. I think he averaged roughly 40 YPC for the season, and he had well over 1000 yards I believe...the ultimate deep threat!

I signed him from FA last season though, so he was just a bonus fun toy to have. The Panthers will have to get by without him :(

ultimate deep threat would be mike wallace back in the slot 98 speed 99 accel and i believe his release is 89. but i would say hes second best plus less expecting everyone knows where wallace will be but people who dont scout who they play are like WTF who is this dozier guy.

EDIT: almost wish the draft was friday the sooner we draft the sooner we get back to playing again. although the offseason is when i get to go full out GM mode which is one of my favorite things about the online leagues offseason time making trades signing player building for the now/future it can sometimes be as intense as a close game in the 4th quarter trying to make deal praying they work out for your team

Yeah we just love it when you go full out GM mode ;)

I offered Dozier 4 years 3m per year...i do not understand.....Guess he doesn't want to come to the shitty dolphins!
Okay, lets try this one last time...

Trade Alert

Bucs send
SS Mark Barron, Age 24, OVR 82 in my scheme. Contract 2 years 2014-3.82M, 2015-4.57M.

Jets send
WR Stephen Hill, Age 23, OVR 79 in my scheme. Contract 2014-1.32M, 2015-1.57M
CB E.Lankster, Age 27, OVR 73, Contract 2014-690k, 2015-910k
3rd round draft pick of this draft.

Note: I offered Trufant and a 4th or Lankster and a 3rd, the Bucs said Lankster and a 4th is fine, and obviously said the other versions were fine as well, but in fairness and in order for us to get this finally pushed through I pushed the 3rd rounder on him. Not ideal since my 1st is already gone, but I wanted this settled before 8pm (more or less) so I could make the appropriate FA offers.
i hope it works out this time we are running out of ideas lol

CB Chris Gamble and MLB Jon Beason are on the block - looking for an elite WR/DT.

Gamble: 93 OVR; 99 man, 90 zone, 99 press, 89 play recognition, 71 catch, 92 speed, 95 agility, 93 acceleration, 87 awareness, 98 stamina, 94 injury - he's 6'1 with 97 jumping as well

The negatives though are that he's 31 years old, on the last year of his contract, and has a salary of $10.23 million this year. He didn't regress anywhere across the board in attributes this past year though and age shouldn't be as big of a concern in our 3rd season. And I won't try to re-sign him at all, so you should theoretically get the chance to re-sign him if I trade him to you on the last year of his contract.

Beason: 92 overall; 93 tackle, 98 hit power, 85 speed, 88 agility, 93 acceleration, 88 awareness, 54 power moves/65 finesse moves (not a blitzing LB), 89 block shedding, 95 pursuit, 97 play recognition, 82 man coverage, 76 zone coverage, 66 catch, 98 stamina, 95 injury

Beason is 29 years old, has 3 years remaining on his contract, and has a cap hit of 8.17/9.72/11.73 million over the last few years of his contract.

I didn't want to have to trade away any Panthers, especially some key ones...but Steve's retirement has forced desperate measures upon me :(
So after free agency/draft are the free agents going to be open?
Felt like this was overlooked curious to kno myself..

I forgot to mention, since it's important to some people (myself included):

Gamble = quick development
Beason = superstar development

Also, I'm a lot more interested in a WR than a DT.
Felt like this was overlooked curious to kno myself..
We did it last year where we go in groups two times then it was free for all
So after free agency/draft are the free agents going to be open?
TBD. I think it will depend on the quality of who is left. I would like to keep it open but I also don't want some eager beaver scooping up everyone.

It will definitely be closed right after the draft while we figure it out, then we will either do a waiver order or open it back up at an announced time. It will not be a mad dash post-draft though.

Looking to move Jeremy Maclin for the right offer

Would like to take draft picks or a slower poss WR or oline

I know you're kidding, but no, that's not why. If I wanted Barron that badly I would've traded you Thomas for him. Mostly I just wasn't that impressed with Hill as a receiver, though I have no doubt that you'll have success with him.
