Madden 13 Official CAG League - On Hiatus. See you in August for Madden 25!
Finally I get some major cap relief, which allows me to pick up some free agents and make this team fit my style of play.
Just wanted to point out that I did the math on this deal, and you're getting almost no cap relief. Not sure if you're aware of this, but bonuses on contracts still count against the team that signed them even after trades, so the cap hit for the bonuses for both Clements and Gaither essentially negate any cap savings you'd get from them. The savings from Cromartie are offset by the salary you're taking back from the Vikings. You're saving a little bit in this deal (like $4M or so maybe), but not much.
Dolphins thought they had found a trade partner for the #3 Pick, but it fell through..

Any takers?
What position you want ? just wondering ?

Texans send:

3rd rd pick

And that's correct. Honestly, I'm going to go with the younger and faster corners on my roster. I'd rather get some kind of compensation instead of just releasing him.

I will take your third for my third next year ?
Yup. Osweiler's accuracy ratings went down as well, despite the fact that he had a good season and he's also like 24 - with no good reason his skills should be declining.
this is just ridiculous in every way that young players are regressing like this especially in a position like this thats so important and it seems to be happening to more than a few of us. but i guess it equal in a way if its happening to everyone

Ridiculous is putting it mildly. I've been working hard to boost up Osweiler's accuracy, I had all 3 up to 88 and to see them tumble back down to the mid-80s was beyond frustrating.

the only thing on matt ryan that didnt drop was his deep ball thank god becuz it already sucked when he started at 72 overall but his sac and mac both dropped on me looks likme im gonig to have to work extra hard to get him back there where he needs to be. just feels like wasted xp though really sucks becuz developing a QB is not cheap at all

I just have to add to this, the whole "I'm going to cut him otherwise" strategy is not going to work on the committee, ever. Allowing that to influence our decision-making would set a terrible precedent, and it's just not going to factor in. We'll evaluate the fairness of the deals on their own merits like we always do.

If salary were a factor, that would be one thing, but it clearly isn't in this case.

I believe this is the final draft order (not including trades obviously):

1 Seahawks 2 Browns 3 Dolphins 4 Packers 5 Cowboys 6 Colts 7 Chargers 8 Raiders 9 Bears 10 Falcons 11 Vikings 12 Jaguars 13 Saints 14 Steelers 15 Titans 16 Giants 17 Patriots 18 Eagles 19 Jets 20 Rams 21 Redskins 22 Bills 23 Chiefs 24 Lions 25 49ers 26 Ravens 27 Panthers 28 Bengals 29 Broncos 30 Cardinals 31 Texans 32 Bucs

Let me know if any of that is off, since we'll be using it for the FA order. Sorry for the formatting, I was copying from Excel.
How do you join in to the draft again? Does it pop up when it starts
Yes, it will be obvious. IIRC it takes over the entire "My Actions" section.

Thank you good sir

So, Mile High Champ.

I have some Bad news for you. Because Trent Platt broke his leg late in the season in college, his OVR, and his development went down. He's no longer a superstar, he's now "Average"

I actually spent the 5000 points to find out.

Sorry bud.

Funny you guys are on this draft class, as I just had it as the first class in my Chiefs franchise. I actually acquired a second first-rounder and drafted both Andre Gibbons and Trent Platt in the first. They're both really good receivers, and Platt's attributes are still really impressive even after the storyline broken leg.
