Yeah, sometimes the bonuses are messed up. For example, I would have to pay 18M in fines if I was to cut my 3rd String RB. It's possible that you cut some players that CPU had signed to awful contracts.

I feel your pain, the Jags roster is really screwed up by all the bonuses. It will take years to fix.
 
Gentle Reminder: Do NOT sub your starters back into preseason games after the CPU takes them out. You can switch back your kicker/punter, and it's fine if you only have 1 FB and want to put him back in, but that's it.

The next reminder will not be gentle.

just so you know i only have 2 TE so when they sub out they put Roddy White in. so i also sub him out for a shitty WR.

The game's gonna do stuff like that, it's fine. Just don't take advantage of the situation and throw to the guy a million times. Or just sub him out for someone else. I'm not going to be a huge stickler about depth chart quirks, I know the difference between that and putting the starters back in to mine for XP. The latter isn't going to be tolerated, especially with injuries off.

Yeah. We would have played this season I think if Madden hadn't screwed up the schedules.

Speaking of the schedule bug, IIRC the same exact thing happened in Madden 12, so at least their programmers are consistently incompetent.

They probably figured no one would make it past all of their other bugs to figure this one out.

I don't think it is that. I think it is more that 99.99% of online franchises don't get passed week 3 of the first season.

My 2nd WR has 89 release and he gets by alot of guys I think he lead my team in receving yards last year.

I just remember Chris Gamble (99 press) got raped immediately 1 on 1 in press against Chetty's 90 release superstar rookie WR, so that isn't ALWAYS the case.....just like with everything in Madden, it's just a roll of the dice.

Is that real?

He is definitely fast, just never saw the field for me. Quite frankly the guy I signed probably won't either. For some reason I always sign WRs in FA periods....
 
Yeah I needed a speedy receiver too, I was thinking of getting TJ Graham but I saw he had the "dropped open passes" trait, so that steered me away from him...

Owusu is the same speed, taller, 95 jumping, but with slightly lower catching attributes. I think Graham will be a beastly slot receiver if he can hold onto the ball :/
