Lost 21-7 to the Chargers. His defense was decent but I just couldn't adjust to the Tebow offense. Sprint to the left, sprint right wait for zone to break down. Spies didn't work and I could get guys to hold contain they would always get sucked in leaving Tebow the whole sideline to just sit there. Matthews ran it pretty damn well, at least enough to open it up for Tebow.

Weeden played well, I just made a lot of bad plays. Now that we have two running QBs in the AFC West I'm going to have to really work on my Madden 04 defense :lol:

GG man. If it wasn't for the ridiculous Gates catch in double coverage for the first it might have ended differently.

Nice to get back on track the saints are 5-3!!!
Brees 2 passing td, sproles a rushing, sproles a kick return, Greer a fumble return, Murphy a pick 6 and a safety were recorded by the saints

Turnovers killed me. An early Kick Return TD and a BULLSHIT DE INT changed everything. Can't wait to play the Saints again.

Bears win by 10. I was losing 14-0 in 1st Q after throwing a pick 6 but got it together after that. Next up Doom and the mighty Texans

Good to see Sanchez get some burn! Unsurprising results, unfortunately. It would have been a bummer is you ripped it up with him because between that and Tebow doing well, it was looking like I gave up on my QBs early.

The only person I believe we haven't heard from is the Browns, so I'll put them on auto when I get home so mog can play the CPU.

Matt and I were suppose to play last night but he wasn't able to. I let him know that I was able to play tonight between 2-8 pm eastern time and judging by his previous post if he can't make that time, he'd be ok with me playing the cpu

Chetty is correct. I just sent a PM asking to play at 5 P.M. Eastern, so that should be it for our game.

Haha...aw man, they took that one away? I don't know how EA could think any of the other ones were even worth bothering with when you'd get only 200XP less for holding a 3 point lead with an entire half to play vs. coming back from 35-3 in the 3rd quarter. "Easy Win" was easily the most efficient use of practice time. It didn't make sense to ever play any of the other ones. I wonder who pointed that out for EA because there's no way they figured it out all by themselves, lol. :)

I don't know if they did or not, that's why I was asking. That's the one I always do as well.

I think I was able to do it in my offline franchise last night, so I think it's probably still there.
 
Wow, you guys had some real practice strategies! I just did whatever seemed to take the shortest amount of time, but would switch off with different ones each week.
 
Well I actually use it to try new plays and different formations, so normally I'd do the full game one but "easy win" gives you more XP for some reason.
 
mog - I got dragged into a late meeting, but I'll probably be home around 6:30. As soon as I am I'll switch the Browns to auto and let you know. I won't advance until you've played it.

Just had a pretty good game with Matt. The cardinals won 24-7. The lesson I've been learning the last couple of weeks is that I probably should have been more aggressive going after a qb earlier in the season.

When does Jon Beason come back from injury?? I forgot to keep track of that....it should be soon, either this week or next week or possibly last week lol.
