Madden 13 Official CAG League - On Hiatus. See you in August for Madden 25!

Panthers 35, saints 24..

With Saints up 24 21 in the fourth cam newton ran in a ten yard run that was very similar to alex smiths TD run against the saints last year in the playoffs.. The saints then got the ball back started driving then brees threw a bonehead pick to a drag route that was jumped by a panthers defender and taken to the house for the game.

Great game masterawesome, hope you wreck some havoc in the playoffs and cant wait to try to take the divison back from you

Wowsers...what an awesome victory. Not only did I WIN...but I miraculously got every single season goal I was in reach of!! I needed 3 passing TDs, 2 rushing TDs, 69 rushing yards with Stewart, and 9 tackles with Kuechly...and I got 3 passing TDs, 2 rushing TDs, 83 rushing yards with Stewart, and 9 tackles with Kuechly lol. And all without running up the score....the only extra liberty I took in reaching my goals was running an easy pick-six out of bounds at the 2-yard line so I could get my 2nd rushing TD with under 2 min left in the game (I was only up by 4 at that point).

No way in hell would I have guessed that my spot in the playoffs would have come down to the last game. I was thinking I was in line for a first round bye easy (the way my season was going up until about half-way through).

As for the game itself...pretty intense. I was down by 3 with about 2-3 minutes left and scored on a Newton run. Then I got the pick on the next drive and another TD run to go up by 11. The Saints were killing me with elaborate routes and cuts, so I had to send some pretty heavy blitzes to try and get to him before the routes could develop. His zone was also really tough for me to do much against...all of my passing TDs were long catch-and-runs from Steve Smith.

Steve smith killed me. Suprisingly, he didn't beat me over the top at all, it was just catches and missed tackles from my defenders. Other than that, my d played superb. Who knows what could have wend down if that pick 6 wasn't thrown
Looks like Carolina clinched the NFC South.
Toughest division in the league
Looks like Carolina clinched the NFC South.
So what does that mean for the Bears/Lions?
So what does that mean for the Bears/Lions?
That means should the Bears lose, they should still be in. Let's see if Madden gets it right.
Is Halo multiplayer really that good ? I don't know if I can make myself buy it with Black Ops coming out next week
Yes it is. I'm tired of CoD so I'll likely be skipping Black Ops 2. It hasn't changed in years.

Agreed, I got burnt out on CoD along time ago.

only reason i buy cod anymore is for zombies its the only part of the game i enjoy. and it only happens every 2 years so other than that medal of honor and battlefield are the true winners

I'll be back home late tonight, the Chiefs-Broncos game will be played tomorrow night. Scrubs all around for the Broncos.

On a personal note... My trip was very productive, as I proposed to my girlfriend of 8 years who for whatever reason likes me enough to want to become Mrs. BV. So congrats to LV on his future sister-in-law. ;)
Congrats BV! I'm at 6 myself and it's getting to that point.
Been married two years after being together for 6. It is pretty awesome even if my gaming window has shrunk a bit. I really blame that on buying a house and having a dedicated office instead of a living room/office, not my wife. I could get away with gaming all night since we were in the same room :D

Edit: forgot to say congrats!

I'm in the same boat. I doubt too much will.change on the gaming front. Except maybe spending less as we save up for a wedding, but we had pretty much started that process anyway.

Arizona clinches the 5th seed with a 13-3 record...idk if i should be proud or disappointed :p

28-21 was the final over the 49ers. Good game Cru.

Might as well, 360s are dirt cheap now. My girlfriend is also a gamer, but mostly on the PC.

I'm just gonna throw these Stats out there for consideration.

Three of the Top Playoff Teams have These Totals on Defense:

Ravens: 57 Sacks, 60 Interceptions
49ers: 54 Sacks, 57 Interceptions
Panthers: 51 Sacks, 47 Interceptions

Seriously, those numbers are obnoxious. Sacks are Close to accurate..But seriously..The Interceptions....

No Wonder people don't want to play in our league...jesus.

That's too bad, though I understand.

Sounds like we'll have two teams open in the offseason. Is anyone else planning on leaving?
