Broncos foolishly add DT Albert Haynesworth. Can't wait to see what Fake Skip Bayless has to say about that on Fake Twitter.

My defensive line is now up to the standard of my linebackers. I should have a pretty damned ferocious Front 7 along with a great CB duo. If only I had better safeties...

As long as your guys can get past Champ and Haden, you'll have no problem.

The biggest question for my season is how Chris Harris fares taking over the slot role from Tracy Porter, who was so great there last year.

That and whether I'll stick to my run-first approach or be tempted to air it out more than I finally have my Jackson-Thomas-Decker set in place.

Sounds like a good thing I have a potentially new #3 WR and some pass-catching TEs. Already taking notes for our match-up.

Aside from the administrative nightmare this offseason seems to have been, especially for the commissioner(s), it has been the funnest by far imho.

Yeah, I've really liked the contracts aspect despite it almost ruining my team for Season 2. The salary cap definitely keeps teams in check and allows for more movement. I wish I still had LaRon Landry, but the challenge has been fun replacing him and others. I think I even like the rookie draft more this year with the recruiting points and XP versus just the guys that jump up in their first couple years after their rookie season.

Pretty much all of the ideas in Connected Careers are good ones. We just need to hope that the execution catches up eventually.

I think next offseason will go more smoothly, especially since we now know all the little weird idiosyncrasies of the FA process (like having only 3 phases when it says it has 5).

Each of the segments of FA Round 3 will only last an hour each, so be there or be square. You still need to post who you're adding in this round, especially if you can't add them in-game right away. That way nobody can claim them once we open things up.

At 9PM EST we'll move into the Anything Goes* segment of our programming. At this point you do not need to post who you add in the thread. I'll post once this begins, so don't try to jump the gun. I'll know if you do. ;)

*The only exception is you cannot add anyone who has previous been claimed in phases 1-3, even if their claimant hasn't added them yet. Please check the updated list of everyone who is claimed before adding people.

You can add as many players as you want, and you are allowed to exceed the roster limits (though obviously you'll need to cut down to 53 by the end of the preseason). The only restraint is whatever your cap room is.

This phase will continue at least through the preseason. The only thing I ask is that you only add guys you intend to use (or at least try out). Don't go adding 25 guys just to keep them off of other teams. :D

We'll be advancing to Week 2 of the preseason at 10:30PM, and the rest of the schedule is as above.
