Yeah, like other people said, I've also entered "Home" as my company a lot. I know plenty of other people who've been doing that, and I know I've done it at least 50 times throughout the years for various things like subs, registrations, etc.

They don't really care. I just think you're being a little too paranoid.. Seriously, there's nothing to worry about at all.

Karma's been kicking my arse lately too; I also am in between jobs, and am undecided about what I want to do with my life career wise.

If anything you're helping the magazines; they offer these free subs so that they can charge more for advertising based on how many subsribers they have. So, really its not stealing.
 
What's this registering game nonsense? And you should include the 3 free issues of EGM/OPM link, I found it on here a while ago, but thought that you would, meh, lready got mine.

Also the EGM free for 1 year offer without registering any game.
 
I just got EGM, OPM (with demo disc) and Computer Gaming Monthly today. Three magazines is one day is a nice thing to come home to, thx 6669

He's saying that if he tries to mislead a magazine subscription company by providing false information to get free subscriptions, that someone will eventually screw him over, thus balancing the universe in terms of Karma.

But in reality, magazines WANT to give subscriptions out for free anyway. With a larger reader population, they can demand more money from advertisers.
 
I just got my first issue of Macworld today. I signed up 3 days after it expired and I didn't get any sort of confirmation email. It only took 2.5 weeks to get the first issue.

Yes, I would like to know as well. I haven't been able to find anything regarding a free OPM subscription, but a lot of CAGs seem to be getting them.

Cause, if I had free subs for them, because I like them better than egm, I'd be set for life.

No, unforunately. But $12.00 for one year after you get the free three magazines from Nintendo Power is a pretty damn good deal. I don't think I'm going to renew though unless I get a similiar price, I don't want to pay $20.00 bucks or whatever it is.

Not Gameinformer, but there was one a year or two ago for free Gamepro. Unfortunately, it was only for 3 months or so. :cry:

That's what I thought, and I just recently stopped getting them. Gamepro sucks, but I still got it for a little over a year for free somehow.

Gamepro: There was a couple of years ago, but never since

Gameinformer: If you join the discount club/card thingy from Gamestop (or EB, IDK) you get a free sub. Otherwise, none.

Nintendo Power: If you've registered x number of games through Nintendo.com (3 games, IIRC), you can get a 3 month trial

I checked several of the last pages, but not the entire thread (Hey, can you blame me?).

Are there any subscriptions to PC World, PC Magazine, Computer Power User Magazine (CPU), or any other PC magazine subscriptions? Along with Birds & Bloom and Home & Garden (not for me...)?

Last I checked this is not request a free sub thread but a thread to post free magazines. This asking for subs is getting out of hand.

If that was referring to me... I did search, and was not requesting, but asking if anyone has seen those, to give them a heads-up that someone is looking for them. For instance, someone might recall on one of their free magazine ventures on the net, that they had indeed come across one of the aforementioned titles, but did not post them yet. And would then proceed to with the knowledge that it is wanted.

And to reply to the poster two spots up; from what I have learned by searching (using the search button), that it is rare to find a Game Informer subscription (same for OXM I think), and as far as is known here, there have not been any for a long while, if any. I mentioned it in my post a bit prior to my discovery of the above mentioned. I will now remove the Game Informer part.

PS: Also looking for any kind of country living type of magazine for my mother. Such as country houses/property or whatever. And Home & Garden. Thanks.

yeah if anyone can supply a egm link i'd be ever grateful. My free sub is running out next month. I can't justify paying $6 for it at newstands. I spend too much money a month on newtype and computer music to afford vg mags.

I wasn't referring to anyone it just seems like the last 15-20 pages every 3 posts are asking for *post magaxzine name here* It is/was getting out of hand.

Also thanks again to all that post magazine deals, this is the best thread on this site and has been since I have been a member.

I understand. I agree, it seems like there has been an influx of newbies signing up and browsing the forums, which is seeming to bring about a lot of these lazy folks who don't want to spend a few minutes looking for said magazine, and hoarders. Definitely more hoarders.

Also rereading the part where I said "mister spoo" sounds like I was being sarcastic, which honestly I wasn't. :\

Is there anyway to check how many subs of Stuff and Maxim a person has left on their sub? I have been getting them for a long time but I have no idea how many I have left.
