I'd love to buy some of these, but I know I won't play them once the Vita's released since I'm not going to want to pay to transfer the UMDs

I think I've got some credit to burn. Might pick up Knights in the Nightmare, I have pretty much everything else on the list that I could possibly want.

There are actually a few of these I don't have yet. Can't imagine prices getting much lower. Thanks, OP.

Hmmm...I wonder if these will be new additions to the $9.99 essentials lineup soon. If so, the PSN prices will get adjusted soon. Thanks for the heads up, OP.
Tactics Ogre is a bargain for $10.
Tactics Ogre is a bargain at 40 dollars let alone 10. Fantastic game with a ton of depth and length.

I wasn't a big fan of Half Minute Hero...that was just me.

really good price.. i'd pick up Tactics Ogre, but it'll just go straight into my mile long backlog ;/

I loved fft, will I enjoy TO? Micromanaging on fft was just enough for me. Anything more than that, I might throw it on my collection shelf and never looked on it ever again

For $10, worth trying. If by micromanaging you mean managing units equipment and skills...its worse than FFT IMO. Probably still enjoy it if you like strat RPGs, but could've used features like the Fitting Room in FFt's stores, and the job level requirements for weapons, skills, and magic can be bothersome early.
too bad most are unavailable online
You can choose "Pickup@Store", enter your info and reserve a copy with no money down.

Thanks OP, resv'd a copy of 3rd Birthday.
Psp is now really on it's last leg aren't they? At least here in the sates
They're gearing up for the vita...which won't support UMDs...although a selection of games may be available to download to your vita if you own the UMD (for a price). They've only released the details for Japan so far and no real announcement has been made about whether or not they've managed to pull it off for other territories. In Japan, I guess they're only looking to support around 200-300 games (right now, it's not supported by some big publishers like Konami or Capcom), with costs apparently ranging around $6-13 per game and going as high as $31 to redownload a game you already bought on UMD. Err...yay? But, yes, a lot of stores have been clearancing out UMD games/movies since the format will eventually be obsolete. Good for us psp owners not planning on trading our systems in for a vita at launch...hehe

That said, The 3rd Birthday is awesome for $10. People have mixed opinions about it, but I got it at release for full price and wasn't disappointed.

I actually got the Tactic Ogre Tarot cards from Gamestop, and looked at them, seemed interesting. So this is a great time for me to jump on the actual game. 3rd Birthday looks fun to play.

which has been my intractable dilemma as a CAG who wants to buy new games, but not at GS MSRP. the gutted in-store copy 'KitN' was sans PSN voucher & the CSR offered to discount it 10% as 'shopworn': good deal?

got a small amount of GS credit but finding it difficult to spend it wisely for the above-mentioned reason. are CAGs willing to accept GS credit/GCs as payment for trades/purchases? if so, pls check my PSP 'wish list' & PM me. TIA & sorry if this shouldn't be posted here.

I know what you mean by this. I ordered 3 games for pickup. Just received my email confirmations that they're ready to be picked up. I'm just hoping that they're not gutted. If so, I may just have to pass depending on their condition.

You should yeah, I just started TO but I have heard alot about it from others and have done research on it. It's made by the same team and has the fanbase of people who think "TO is better, it was the first, FFT only get more attention cause it has the name FF in it, blah blah"

I get mixed reviews from others about which is better but never really see someone say "this game is good, but the other isnt" people usually enjoy both games...im enjoying TO so far and FFT is one of my all time fave rpgs/games, so maybe TO will take its place after I finish it and what not.

long story short....YES

edit: and LMFAO I was just at gamestop earlier today but didnt see this, I had like $12 of credit and got Jikandia cause it was the cheapest thing I could find that looked interesting to me loool

Are these codes i.e 3rd Birthday Ada's outfit all Gamestop exclusive?

Or do they come in every case wherever sold?

Thinking about Tactics Ogre/3rd Birthday. Is the latter in particular worthwhile? I'm hearing very mixed things.
The 3rd Birthday code is included in the game case. So, if its a sealed copy it'll most likely have it. Same with Knights in the Nightmare. If its gutted, make sure to check before buying.

This one isn't an RPG too, but it got a price drop as well..

Thanks for the heads up. Yeah the gutted NEW copy was missing the code at my local store.
