I'd vote for 11PM EST, but that's only because playoff hockey takes precedence.

I'm sure there'd still be people playing after an hour. :)

What I'm thinking of doing is find a host (or me) take care of a 10pm EST game. People on my list jump into my game (I'm not sure yet whether I'll create a new account for this yet) and people on my friends list can have their friends jump in, and so on. This is one of those things that may not completely work the first time, but after a while, it should.

But let's say, I kind of want to see a show of hands of people who'd be interested in playing at 10pm EST - midnight during the week.

And during the weekend, maybe sometime in the afternoon (6pm EST as the latest start time, but if people want later, I need another host).

Goddammit, my local Best Buy, Circuit City, all Gamestop variations, and Target are all sold out of this. Even though Target had it in today's ad. I wasn't quite desparate enough to go to Wal-Mart.

Bleh, I still have school for another week with a bunch of tests so school nights from like 9:45 PM (EST) and on are out for me. Since tomorrow is a holiday I can play whenever though.

I would possibly be in, but it depends on Bar review schedules and kids' bedtimes. I'm west coast, but if I was able to I wouldn't be available until after probably 10:30 or 11:00 PM EST. I'm already Mario Kart friends with lilboo and Doomed (maybe buttle too, can't remember), so I guess depending on what gets set up I might be able to stalk them.

OK guys, I just finished all of the cups for single player in every CC. I think I'm ready for online races against people here at CAG (I do well enough in random online races so I'm not too worried :lol:).

Count me in too, please - I should be able to get on around 10 p.m. EST and my wife might play for a bit as well, if there's room.
 
I'm interested. I haven't gone online yet, so should be interesting.

Recently got stars on all the 50cc cups. Still need to beat all the 100cc cups, but I felt burnt out after doing the 50cc stuff.

I noticed. I'm not sure if they were on at that point, but JFD, Sean, and JolietJake were all on in the races with me earlier in the evening.

Going from your score and your finishes, it looks like we're at about the same level skillwise right now. Racing you is going to be interesting. :)

On another note entirely, I'd probably win more races if I actually used the bikes once in a while.

I was going to ask you if you were racing with anybody else here. On DK Mountain someone used a giant mushroom, stopped, and then sped up just so they could run over me :lol:

I made some dumb mistakes but I would say we're pretty even. We traded 5th and 4th place finishes for a while. I'll probably be playing this instead of Smash Brothers too since it's been hard to find anyone to play lately :bomb:

I listed those who were my friend who are in to play. I have at least 15 slots on my buddy list (probably more, but I haven't removed some who never added me). I will add the following people to my list before 12pm EST on Memorial Day (because they are in for sure): Bavgate, buttle, Daisydog, EXStrike, and wjhard63. I will try searching for your Mario Kart codes (mine is in my signature). I'll go ahead and add you all so it will be easy for you to join my games.

I'll decide later tonight what gameplay modes will be doing (we can maybe decide what courses we want to play ahead of time).

It's still not too late to get in. If we indeed fill up a room (people are always welcome to bring guests regardless), I'm sorry to say that this time we may only have one room, but once I figure out how Mario Kart Wii is going, we'll make more rooms if needed in the future.

That's a moot point if we set up a room, because we can switch on the fly. I'd actually prefer it that way.

If you are friends with someone on the list, wouldn't you be covered as long as they were on that day?

A-B-C

A is not friends with C.
B is friends with both.
C creates a room, B sees it and joins.
A can go to B's Mii and join the room he's in.

I hope... I have a bunch of open spaces so I'll add TMK anyway.

Mine's actually full at the moment, but that's because I added everyone who PMed me in the first few days. I may have to do some pruning to get rid of people who I've never seen online/don't recognize to replace them with people who are going to use the game more often.

[/QUOTE]I understand because I do the same thing many times while hosting a game night for various games, I get distracted where I'm on AIM, typing a post at CAG instructing someone how to join at the last minute, etc. (and get distracted). Hopefully it does not happen tonight. ;)

I'll probably get on at 9:45pm EST. I just hope my game connects online (every once in a while I have that issue).

I played some 150cc today. Did well early on, but the last race, I got knocked with several items and got sent to the back, so I got 2nd place overall. :whistle2:(
 
Seriously, it sucks!

Anyway, what's the plan for the rooms tonight? Are we going to play in traditional Random VS rooms or is someone going to open a Friend Room so we can play Grand Prix style?
