Just now hopped into the event. Hopefully I got a low bracket! If I did I suppose I can push hard enough and get both covers that I need but I do hope regardless that as an Alliance we get him because he is a great character to have!

My buddy Juggernaut comes back tomorrow too so hopefully his added score too can help push us over.

On a side note ish. I got my one buddy to start playing MPQ and I didnt realize the benefit of the level raising truly until I looked at her roster. She has all 1 stars at like around the 5-10 level with a roster of only 5. She somehow pulled a Steve Rogers from her first Heroic token however and normally it wouldnt be worth it as much to try and hold onto it but now since it is level 40 that is actually SUPER helpful and will really help her chug along more easily early on having such strong (in relation) 3*s

No Ingress, but fuck ing Quiz Up has got its claws in me. I know a lot of sh!t that I don't need to know, and I like trivia games, so this is the worst kind of crack. I have a 70+% win rate, and that would be even higher if I didn't venture into uncharted soccer territory to get an achievement.

I knew about this on iOS some time ago, but there are much better games to play on an iPad than a trivia game. Now that it is on android and fits in my pocket...

Don't worry... I use up all my health packs before I start this one up.

 
I have not played either of those games that you guys mentioned. Haha I am a MPQ man true and true : P

Only other games I dabble in regularly (I have like 55 on my phone but rarely play others) are Monster Warlord, Clash of Clans and Hero Academy. Plus Super Hexagon as a random quick go to haha

I was at #1 overall before bed with a strong lead and woke up at like #5. So long as I keep playing I should get all 3 regardless. It is like the game knew I had been saving HP and then finally spent it all on Steve covers that I now will be earning... bastards hahah.

But yeah I sure will be pushing and I hope we get the Blue cover for everyone because like I said that move is amazing.

My Steve is at 107 now and after this event he will be 3/5/5 and hopefully around 115!

I am excited haha even moreso because that means I will be able to likely plow through whatever events is next with my Steve.

Where is everyone at with their own Steve right now and what are they shooting for to at least get in the event?

 
I enjoy trivia, so will have to try out Quiz Up.

Just in case someone tries Ingress, I ended up joining "The Resistance".   I have to believe it'll be more fun to fight the invading aliens than to help them.  ;^)

 
My Steve fortunately has his blue maxed... I just need some red covers and lots of ISO at this point.

Now I'm going to have to push for top 25 in Heavy Metal, to finally get a purple ldaken.

Ugh I could really use more Daken covers. I was just saying earlier how I wish I had more because he is such a great character. I really want to push in this PvP but one my Iron Man sucks and two my MMR is still screwed and so all I see are 166s still even after trying to drop it for a couple weeks now : /

 
I only have 1 red Steve, so I can use whatever I can manage.  I also had just enough to buy another 3-star, but then I had to spend it to add Johnny Storm to my roster, so I can have a better chance at finishing higher in The Hunt.  At least it should help me get more Iso.

Yeah I bought a new slot for him too though I expect to sell him soon after this event is over and I need another slot. I would rather sell him than buy a new slot!

 
Daken is the new reward from the IM 40 tournament. I really need to push for that, but will probably be busy this week with visiting family activities.

Season 3 ended with me about 800 points short of the 10 token reward.

Thought I had more time left.

 
Quiz UP is fun, but it seems like it took too much effort to move up in it. There's almost too many choices.

I played Ingress for a little while, but never quite got caught up to the whole "Walk to real places while looking at your phone" mechanic.

Stuff I play daily is MPQ, Knights & Dragons, Kaizen Rumble, Deadman's Cross. Sometimes  PacMan Monsters....

 
The top guy in one of my events has literally everything in the game....

He has his 4*s all maxed as well as almost every single 3* available. Same goes with all of his 2 and 1*s...

That is so ridiculous!!

Is he in one of the X-Men teams? There is rampant speculation they are cheating somehow, but supposedly are dropping large sums of cash into the game.

Heck, look at some of the folks on those teams. There's a few of them with a 5/5/3 Nick Fury at a level in the mid 240s. That means they spent 5k HP to respec covers they spent 5k to level up within the past month, nevermind the ISO required to level up.

He wasn't. I checked his Alliance but I dont remember the name. Everyone else in his was just like, 'average good' with a few 166s and the rest normal.

I saved up over 3k myself in HP in just a couple months with all of the rewards we get and that was me not spending a single HP on anything for that time.

You are way under by saying 5k. Each 4* Cover costs 2500 HP. Max they could have is 3, one from each Season right?

That means they needed to buy 10 more covers to max him out. That is 25,000 HP....

Then the ISO required to get to that point I dont even feel like calculating but it would cost at least like $700 buying ISO to max him out....

Yeah, Ingress does seem intent on making me exercise. It seemed similar to my old favorite Shadow Cities, but that had a lot of tricks to let you navigate the world without actually moving.

Right. I was just pointing out that to go from 3 yellow to 5 yellow would be 5k to respec, which would have been bought for 5k in the first place.

The total outlay was likely 30k HP for anyone with a 5/5/3 (12 covers). Because if you're crazy, why would you have settled for 0/5/3?

You're matthew77, right? You aren't in the list, but a bunch of randoms are. I think maybe Broly went a little tap crazy with the kick button.

So looking through the official forums you have to wait 7 days to join the Alliance you were booted from apparently...

I feel like total shit. I am so sorry man.

I have put in a support ticket explaining the situation and hopefully we can get this resolved.

 
Not sure how much help I'll be in this wave of PvE without Johnny Storm.  Right off the bat 3 nodes are marked deadly and at 3k points of Alaska

 
Yeah porkchop is a random, but He/She/Its been with us since the beginning and has been a steady decent player. How many folks you kicking now?

I though ltrain was next cause he purposely missed sub event nodes! :p

Yeah I know he has been here for a while, but Porkchop has been playing less and less lately and now in this event is at like 8k total.

I just want to make sure I know who is who because clearly I am human and make mistakes : (

 
I probably won't play much the rest of this week anyway. Got family visiting and it's constant activities.

I couldn't have missed it on purpose, because I had played all the sub events up to this point. I remembered having 3 subs on my main story screen, but this morning there were only 2. I randomly went in to check my next reward level, and saw that 2 of the nodes didn't have the checkmark. WTF, I thought. So I beat it again, and sure enough... back to 3 subs on the story screen. Caught it in time, but MPQ must not want me to ever get a blue Steve by pulling that sh!t.

I literally just burst out laughing here in the office.

I was like what the hell is he getting at? Oh man. Thank you for that.

There was a girl I went out with in undergrad, and I would always piss her off by kicking open the bathroom door while she was in there. It backfired after a while when I did that and I went to scare her and jump in her face but instead this time she quickly pulled her hand from below and shoved some 'Red Chaos' right in my face....

They said that I cannot get someone reinstated like that through them.

Unfortunately I'm not playing much.

Today's the lake, science in the park, probably more swimming.

Tomorrow, fountains, more swimming, etc, etc.

I was really hoping to crack top 100 for at least one Daken cover from the IM 40 tournament, but I can't even do that these days.

Yeah they said only the creator could let you in but I didnt know if DS would be able to make his request and get it fulfilled in time by Support so I didnt want to say anything that may not happen!

Have fun with family, I am jealous.

I on the other hand somehow didnt have my alarms go off this morning. I have 5 set on my phone and nothing. I woke up at 9:15 and am supposed to be in at 9. I usually take the train but since it was so late there was no expresses so I just hopped in my car and drove and got to the office at 10:30.

Either way that means I didnt get my morning 50 minute MPQ session which screwed me out of the one subevent and now the PvP. I was at a comfortable #5 overall but now I am going to be fighting for top #10. Ugh.

 
Managed to play last minute and at least snag one Blue Daken cover. Now at 1/1/3 hah

New PvP is actually super interesting. Every character is on the same level. So a maxed 3, 2 or 1 star is all at an even 270 and then each one is adjusted accordingly.

This should make for some really cool dynamics. If they did this type of event more often it would be worth it to keep a few select 2*s for varying team synergies.

I am curious to see characters next to their Lazy counterparts and see the difference in them maxed.

Also it is a Psylocke reward and after DS bragging about her and then getting my ass kicked by her in the last PvE I wouldn't mind getting me a few covers for that. Plus since it is a level field, as an Alliance we shouldnt really have any excuse to not make at least top 100 for this, we all just have to participate!

After getting her specs to 5/3/5 Im back to being in love with Psylocke. 1k damage from either black or red, then a strike or attack tile? Yes please. plus only 6 black for a very nice Dr. Doom-ish attack tile at that. I dont see why she's not used more as she's a great striker character. Hide her behind a hulk due to the low health but I mean its not horrible. Once you get those 3 strike tiles too its almost game over, plus she pairs well with falcon too, so those strike & Attack tiles get that bonus from his yellow.

Managed to sneak in and get a blue daken too, didnt realize this will be my fourth. Why's purple all of a sudden so hard to get? No season 4 I guess & I dont need anymore Psylocke covers, so I'll just be farting around in the powered up or whatever its called tournament. Im not happy with the hunt either, just recycled & I want a Steve but Im not climbing fast enough in the ranks to get one. I think Im barely keeping the Alliance above the 100 mark.
