Yeah only having x amount of TU available is crap, why cant it be like boosts in so many ways?
1 they stay equipped. Is that so hard? Boostst stay equipped.
2 Multiple copies of 1 TU get grouped together....like boosts.... I have like 3 venom devours & 2 Yelena Lethal Recons
Im full on TU & forget/dont use/equip them. I mean for so many reasons. I treat them like boosts, which they arent really. Then against goons, just why? I can beat those easily so no point. Lastly I have so many Dark avengers TU but guess what? I cant use them because Im fighting AGAINST those opponents half the time. Stockpiling Bullseye murderous aims because well unless I drop them on goons, Im always facing Bullseye!
As for the thor cover... If it wasnt green as the lower tier reward. If anything I can get green, Ive thrown away multiple thor greens. That red just isnt worth trying to get into 2-5, which I dont even know is really possible anymore. I still dont have his red move, which Id only have as 3 anyways. Why is that one of my most elusive cover/color? Hell I mean I finally have a yellow spiderman now!

Seriously, like what the hell? I thought it was just me, but I guess we're in "that bracket" or whatever.
I hate getting a Gold, then its Thor's icon, only to see...Green.... At least Im not getting anymore Green Hulk covers, funny, in mentioning that I totally forgot I only need 1 more Hulk cover to Max his skillset.
Oh well as stated previously, I guess I should be happy with my 2 cover Captain Marvel now. Just once again goes to show, with a little luck, you bust your ass for those covers & in the end a token pull can net you the same thing.
Just bring on Deadpool.....My body is ready!

I agree on #1, but I understand on #2. Since they designed it to be based on the level of the opponent you defeated, you can have multiples of the same power but at different levels. I get that they don't want to base the level on the user so you can't farm good powers from lower levels. But yeah, I have like four copies of Murderous Aim wasting space.

If we all were going to actually push in the Thor PvP I would be all for that to help everyone out. The problem is that as an Alliance we rarely have more than a few high scorers in any PvP and whenever we have tried before it is a mess. Especially with certain people that seemingly never play the PvP for more than like 50 points.
If you want to rile up the troops and make it so we all push for Thor I will put my hat in the ring and just sell 'em all off for extra ISO for Hood or Deadpool.

Ok this has been discussed and now has to be brought to the table: Alliance Performance.
I wont name any names, because quite frankly my performance as of late has been just as bad. We've been at the cusp of the lower 3* cover rewards for the past couple of events. Usually we miss it by a rank of 10+ or so, if that. Anyone who has missed the cutoff for rewards by such a slim margin knows how frustrating that is.
I also understand the Alliance does well enough that we get enough HP & ISO that we're all grateful for being in it. This is the problem, we have a wide range of newer competitive players. Many of us, although jilted, are still heavy players (who always get stuck in crap brackets...). Moving forward we will be evaluating current members in order to keep the alliance roster full of active competitive players. All anyone has to do is play competitively and have a decent score. Even if you're at the bottom of the list in alliance ranking as long as your score is close, you're ok.
This event has been kind of hard to judge. I lacked a captain marvel character for the essential nodes in each sub bracket. So I understand how having her was a key to keeping a high score. My score has doubled since I picked one up from a Event token.
Next even WILL be the determining factor, once it has started we will start evaluating performance. Next event is the Deadpool one, so that will be very competitive since everyone will want one.
As for PvP, thats still in the air since we never can collaborate on who wants to do what. Which is totally understandable since many of us are still in the 2-3* transition phase.
This is not singling anyone out, this is just stating how we want to move forward. We've PM'd those that we've needed and they have left the Alliance due to low performance.
Also this is open to discussion, I want to hear thought and opinions on how to move ahead. This alliance isnt going to be #1 but we're missing out on the top #100 lately and I know we're better than that!

This alliance is friendly enough that if someone is going to have an issue in an event (missing the essential character in PvE, vacation, business trip, etc.), we'll be understanding as long as people speak up and best efforts are made.
I know PvP has become Crazytown for some of us. I am comfortable saying we're a top percentile PvE alliance, and PvP is where we go to try and get some personal rewards. I mean, there isn't much you can do once you burn your MMR, and even less when the top people in your bracket have scores 1500+ because of shield jumping and fully leveled Patchnetos and Sentrakens.
This game also gets a significant portion of my gaming time, so I try to make sure that in the end, I'm still having fun. Having fun in this game for me is progression, and progression happens when we work together. I know I'm never going to get to the point where I have nothing to spend ISO on, so I'm going to be okay for a while.

Oh man. I basically sprinted through my run tonight to get back and play right at the end for a final push and it worked!
We almost broke #50 as an Alliance too!

Ah the beauty of working together as an alliance. Almost cracked the top 50 so shows that we can do this. After a long 2 hour grind and spending a lot of my boosts I just slipped into 10th by just 200 points. Bring in the Hoodies and Broly what you been smoking and where can I can some? You my friend just shot up the leader board like nobodies business and knocked me out of 1st.

I missed the 60K progression reward by like 1200 pts, not too happy about that. Then again I snuck in 2 Cap marvels, so I cant be that mad.

Got 26th in my bracket. Top ten was 10k away, so that wasn't happening.
Once the alliance award drops, I'll be at 5/4/3. I call this event a success.

I am jealous of your near complete perfect Hood build! With this I will be at 2/3/4... which is better than I was at of course but no where near 5/5/3 still! I am debating on buying another Blue Hood with my saved HP or keeping it for Deadpool.
There is a sale on Android right now where the $50 pack of HP is only $35. I hate being tempted by that shit.
Think I started the main PvE too early which caused all of my nodes to be crap. Highest one was less than 500 I think and grinded most of the nodes to below 50. Still after all that I barely made it to top 10.That is what happens when you ride the train a shit ton every day ; P

Allright since I usually avoid Patch Daken combos can anyone explain to me how they work with each other, because I think I found another glitch. Naturally this coincides with "true healing" as well.
As we know Daken & Wolverine both have that healing factor, I got that. Patch always heals after every turn & Daken can either take damage or heal depending on X color tiles on the board.
My question is when both are present do they both auto heal or only the active one in the front does? I know what MY Daken does, always gains or loses health per turn, but I want to know what the computer does. The Patch/Daken team I just played Patch would heal every turn. I made sure to use up all the blue tiles so that Daken would use heat every turn & self damage, never happened. Was finally down to my BP & his Daken. Now that Daken was the last one left healing would kick in not heat. Naturally more blue tiles magically appeared so that would happen.
Just wondering was this just me, or more computer balancing in their favor? Already trying to figure our how they throw out so many team ups when I dont notice them matching any team up tiles. Then again the computer never needed to match up enough color AP to set off their moves most of the time either.
OH AND HURRY UP & BRING ON THE DEADPOOL EVENT!!!! THIS PATCH TOURNEY IS CRAP!!!!!

Thats what I thought, but yellow healing factor flashed across the screen while black healing & Heat did not. I'll just take it as another glitch in the system.
Normally when 2 powers go off they both will appear on screen; Bullseye's Adamantium Bones & OBW espoinage for instance. This just didnt happen. Honestly not really sure why Im surprised anymore....I mean we still cant get a fix for the sunder bug,,,

I wish I had the ISO to actually make Hood usable, I keep just looking at him like 'one day...'
I think they removed H&H from the power display a bunch of updates ago. Haven't seen it in a while, but I do see it doing +/- where appropriate.

I didn't see daken take any damage, which made me suspect. Like I said I avoid him anyways. 40+ points, why do I always fall for that trap? Luckily my rank was so low I lost no points.
So deadpool event stated. Some people already in it. Don't know when to jump in. I want to play but don't want a shit bracket....

That sucks. You sure it is the WHOLE event that is that short?
Seems odd that they would play it up as such a huge thing and make it one of the shortest events we have...
Also, my Sunday is booked full. Normally I dont play much at all on the weekends. Usually events start on like Friday and I just wait until Monday to start since I have other things going on on the weekends and then get to really play a bunch on break and during my long commute during the week... : /

I may just jump in right away and hope for some Deadpool and at the very least grind from the beginning now for the Hood covers. I have a feeling we will have another event soon to give more covers for Deadpool. His one move is only available by Alliance reward and then you need top 25 to get both covers available for Single play...

The forums are speculating that this is just an intro event to get Deadpool to us. Then the real actual new event of Deadpool Vs the World or whatever will be after.

When did 1* Modern Storm's Red turn to yellow?????
I finished 43rd, so my Hood is up to 3/1/2, and I got my first yellow Spidey (1/2/4 now) from the daily rewards today. I love that Deadpool cover even though I'm not a big fan of the character. I'll probably jump in after I get home from work, so I have a good chunk of time to start.

Looks like the forum was wrong, top 5 gets Purple Black and Red for Deadpool, whereas 25+ gets just the Black and Red and then obviously 100+ nets you just the Red... hmmmm

Once again they need real comic writers, the dialog seems forced and just not funny. The deadpool descriptions are fairly well written in his bio. I love the loaner characters all buffed and maxed out, great teasers.
They knew we liked the shorter PVE events, so here we are. Im gonna have to monitor the steam account to see when to jump in. I'll be out most of the day tomorrow so I wont be back until late afternoon or night.

MPQ forums are saying there are subevents at 36 hours each, as well. So waiting might disrupt even further. Need to start before the end of tomorrow.
It was the latest patch. Both Modern and Mohawk changed to yellow and now only remove a capped maximum of team up gems, not all of them. Daredevil's environmental trap also changed to be placed on a random basic gem of any type. BP's yellow should have gotten a boost, too.

I am torn, I want a good bracket but the earlier I play the more likely I will be able to get the top progression rewards for Hood..
Just realized however that the highest reward is Black... I dont want that cover anyway. I want more Yellow and Blue and plan to give up one of my blacks already to make him 5/5/3 eventually. Hmmm Maybe I will wait until tonight to play then since I only want the 8k reward.
Most likely I'll jump in tonight which is when I have the most time to play and knocked out a few nodes. Play Firefall right now on the PC so that's going to cut into my MPQ time and once Garden Warefare and Destiny comes out on the PS4 not sure I can juggle all these games.

Here's the issue, Good bracket or good progression rewards? Me being at a 3/3/3 on hood, I want the yellow. Black will stay at 3 anyways, so there's that.
However with such a short event idk when to jump in. Start tonight, then not play until tomorrow night? Maybe Rubberbanding will catch me up? Im lost on how to play PVE anymore, so I dont even know.
Not that its directly related, but the Quahog Comic Con is going on in Family Guy Quest for stuff. The characters have new super hero costumes and such going on. Its a good diversion when MPQ frustrates the hell out of me.

Garden Warfare is lame.
I always play a bunch on my commute like I said so I can still squeeze in 'real' games at night, but not really with my program right now haha Next year!
I liked the co-op for Garden Warfare but I'm sure that'll only last me until Destiny is out. Started to get back into gaming with Firefall and hoping to have my PS3/4 setup this weekend. How's the Deadpool event going for everyone?

Thanks. It is pouring here in Chicago and since I get off work early Fridays during the summer I decided to just walk around and get drenched. Oddly enough I have been feeling a bit better since haha
But yeah I got an X1 on release and have played it sparingly. More time has probably been on my 360 still because of Dark Souls 2 haha but I did really enjoy a few games on there so far. The big thing is all the upcoming titles I want to get on PS4. Diablo for example, I had for PS3. I cant transfer all of the DLC and the exclusive content to the X1 version, but I could to the PS4. Plus most of my friends have already or plan to get PS4s for the upcoming holiday season. There I will be though with Destiny and Diablo and Evolve and so on all for the X1 whereas my friends are all on the PS4 : /
Plus I loved inFamous and really have been itching to play that and some of the other PS4 exclusives (Bloodborne especially even though I know it is a ways away) coming out this year are calling my name.

I made it to 11th place in the PvP starting with an hour and a half to go. No red for me.
Top player had 975 points. After hitting about 300, I couldn't find an opponent worth more than 25. That Daken/Sentry combo is fast in the top tier players - I didn't lose a single match and never got attacked, and only cleared 695. I was three battles away from top 5.
Started Deadpool this morning, ran through every node once and a few twice to get to 7th overall and 11th in the sub. Just a reminder that the sub-event ends at midnight Eastern tonight.
By the way, a covered Hood goes great with Modern Hawkeye. Steal all their blue and red, then grab some black, and you get 1-countdown arrows.

I missed out on the last hour of the PvP too, for the same reason. Fell asleep in the chair after the kids went to bed.
Was actually in the middle of a match in the Deadpool event when it happened. Woke up and whooped some Wolverine a**, played the Hood nodes, and went back to bed.

These progression rewards prove that MPQ is really trying to cater to new players I feel like. When I fist started out there was NO way I would have had as many 3*s as new players have now. With the Steve covers and now the Hood ones especially it is pretty evident. I am not angry by this but just definitely noting that they are trying to be more welcoming to new players, making them feel really powerful early on and want to continue.
But yeah I am already almost at the final Hood progression reward and I started this morning... super easy though I suspect rubberbanding was in effect for me a bit. But yeah we arent really all that close to the Alliance rewards... We really need to fix that haha

Haha that is the worst. I have so many characters that are in dire need of ISO. With this sale on Android I looked at the ISO prices again and still was like.. no haha It would cost me $34 or whatever for the $50 amount which would bring my Hood from 80 something to 100 something... not really worth it at all.
I am curious to see the amount of real money spent in game and the breakdown between HP and ISO.
