You really think Faclon over Psylocke?

The issue I have with leveling up Psylocke over Falcon is her color overlap. With Falcon, he has a useable purple, everything else is passive so he doesnt step on anyone else's toes.
Psylocke has that issue.

Cant pair her up with:

Steve- Red/blue overlap, steve wins

Panther- Black/Blue overlap, Panther gets black, blue is meh either way. countdown for AP or defense

Punisher- Red/Black overlap Awesome red strike tile or 1 hit kill? Black attack tile but meh AoE damage & countdown or 1 good attack with 1 good attack tile?

Torch- we're looking at the same issues with Punisher, that red and black overlap.

I mean dont get me wrong, she's awesome & when they power her up (which is more often for a 3*) she's killer. You know I love her and have her at 166, but still trying to find a 3rd for the Psylocke/Hulk team since they seem to be awesome with each other.

Anyways at 100 Falcon has ok health, & you want him at a lower level anyways to reduce him taking attacks. Most of his passive powers arent level based anyways, Koju pointed that out. So having him at a higher level isnt going to make redwing pop out more or anything.

Just wasnt a fan of Kaizen's slot machine "gameplay". If I was going to do that Id rather go to a real casino and possible win some money. Plus the story was too much for me. You're a bad guy trying to kill good guys that werent really good?

AS for blade, the difference for him is I want him to be good, Doc Ock, Beast, and Cap Marvel: I look at their moves and go, meh they're ok. Blade seems to have potential to be something. Then again Im with you, I thought Falcon, damn that guy sucks, but he's a really good support character.

yeah I set Kai Zen rumble to auto. The skill involved is building your deck.
I'm a sucker for any sort of monster collection/fusion games though.

Psylocke works well with steve. his blue stun is more usefull than her blue ap steal. his red takes too long to charge. so use her for red and black. him for yellow and blue. just missing green and purple.
or use falcon to boost her attack tiles. for massive damage!

I'm also gradually focusing more playtime on Terra Battle over MPQ, but grinding for the upcoming NeoBahamut Arc is absolutely impossible for my meager party (only at lvl 20) Do the metal arenas ever allow lvl 20s to earn exp? Sorry for the off-topic hee-hee.

Since I switch jobs and try to get all my rare (all I have are A & B classes) characters leveled I think at most I only have them in their 20's.

I havent been able to play the metal arena because Im out of tickets, I dont remember how to get more. But I noticed some of my guys werent getting XP. I thought it was just me though.

Yeah, I was glad someone pointed that out. Now I have a separate squad with people for the metal arena to level people under 20. I just made it to chapter 6, but the leveling is so much slower in the regular game. I don't know how to get tickets(I assumed they cost real world money), but the arena does open for certain time periods as well. I think you only need a ticket if it's closed.

I honestly just cant add more games to my mobile plate. I barely have time for MPQ lately. Bah. Time.

Back on MPQ track, I see it has been noted in the game chat but we are getting PvP rewards from a way prior I believe it was Combined Arms? Scored ISO and another red Spamarock. Not all that useful but hey I will take it!

Also, I decided on Falcon. His soft cap is 102 so I will just try to get him there and hope for more covers in the future. Already have him to like 76.

Don't wait. No benefit whatsoever to starting later. Get in early, so your team can heal before moving on.

Three gauntlet events and it looks like they must each be unlocked Sequentially. The final progression reward for the first event is freaking Ares. Daken and Black Panther are the rewards for the other two if I remember.

No tiers, no ranking.

I need to work to 3000 points in the Season to get a yellow stormhawk cover.

You need to complete all the essentials to get the progression rewards. Only needed to use a single health pack for the first sub... but I also couldn't play the essentials - so no Ares cover for me. Considering that 75-80% of their player base doesn't have Blade, it's pretty messed up to have him required to earn rewards at this point.

I am happy that Black Panther is the absolute final reward because mine is already maxed. Looks like I will be hoping for that Daken and then Capt Marvel.

Not to rub it in or anything ltrain, but HOLY SHIT Blade..is really freaking good. Haha for your sake not just for this event but in general, I hope you are able to score him from the event tokens.

His moveset is how Doc Ock's is supposed to be I feel like. It has direct damage, passive tile creation and AP stealing... all of which works really well. Plus his colors are perfect. Gah, now I want more of him.

I have been thinking of teams he could go with and I honestly just kept coming up with them because he is a really versatile character. I feel like Patch, Steve and Blade would go really well as the best rainbow team and with Patch's healing, Steve's defense tiles and Blade's AP stealing I feel like it would be a VERY sturdy team.

I can't remember who it was but DS needed the one character, Captain Marvel I think, the whole event and then he got her last day in a token and just rocketed up. If you can get through all of the nodes you can, hopefully by then you can score a Blade from the reward tokens to get you through the rest!

I think I could swing most of them in three tries or less except maybe those last two. The health on some of those are going to be crazy, almost requiring Punisher's red and someone who can stun.

I finished the first tile, haven't started the second yet. Considering I only need the Captain Marvel cover in the third's progression, I might not bother finishing every node to get the 500 ISO BP cover.


I've noticed that I really haven't been hurting for covers, and my HP really only goes to roster slots. I also noticed I sit on about 80% of my team ups waiting for 'that tough fight' that never comes. Is anyone using team ups regularly, and has your usage changed now that you only have a 20% chance to replace it?

I ask because I had a thought to buy a roster slot for the express purpose of having a team up to lend out. I'm thinking a single cover 1*/2* for something low AP, useful, and a low patrol time. I'm leaning towards anything that doesn't scale with character level - a stun power like Modern Widow/Venom/Cap, a board shaker like Juggernaut/Storm/Hawkeye, or something else more specific like 1* Hawkeye's critical or even a Widow Recon. I'd want something fairly easy to build from tokens, and wouldn't feel bad selling if I need the roster spot.

Would you guys actually benefit from this? Or would I just be helping the randoms?

Speaking of covers hell yeah you are set. You pretty much have everyone maxed it is crazy. I don't know how you do it! Whenever I feel like my roster is getting badass and super useful I just go look at yours to put me in my place!

Those groups are insane, I'll be lucky to get Daken from the second ladder.  I might be able to win a few on the third, but I don't know if it would be enough to get the token or Captain Marvel.  I would think using Deadpool's red if you had it maxed to chop tons of health at the start and Punisher's red to finish the job, but I'm not sure the max DP can take if fully leveled.

I just tried the Neo Bahamut event in TB, and I can't even get past the first battle.  I might be able to make it if I wait for a Power Up, but the two healers fully recover everyone every turn.  I just gave up, looks like I won't be getting the piece for the second job.

I'm through the events I can play on the second ladder, which includes the second set of essentials. They finally let me play a few with Captain Marvel. Looks like LDaken is required for the second set on the third ladder. Not sure about the first set on that one.

My first token yielded an Ares. Blegh. One more token chance. There is, however, a Captain Marvel event that starts today with Blade as the reward. To me, that's going to be an event that I jump in with 24 hours or so to go, and play as much as I possibly can and shield when I can't. The HP will be worth it to score some blades.

Terra - I have Grace's second job leveled to 20, and at that level, her stats are better than what she is at 23 on the first job, and she can have all of her first job's powers. Going to try the Neo event, just to see where I stand, but not counting on winning it. Thanks for the reminder, Gravel.

EDIT: Didn't fare much better. Got through the third node after half my team got wiped on the first. The drakes took out my healer on their first turn, so I was essentially screwed from the get go. No reason to try and play that again at this point. Even if I would get to Neo, there's no way I'd be able to beat him.

I plowed through the first ladder and just did the main nodes and now I have 4 more to complete in the 2nd one for my LDaken and then on to the 3rd! But like I said, since I don't need that BP I will just do enough for Marvel and then likely be done with the event.

DO NOT use OBW's Anti-Gravity Device when Colossus has Immovable Object out hahah that was really dumb on my part and I ended with like a 7 turn countdown for Colossus and sure as shit that tile was in an impossible to reach spot.

I'm glad the AI isn't that good. Facing Colossus in the second ladder, it used Immovable Object repeatedly even if there was a countdown tile still with a few turns left. Also, nothing good on the horizon for daily rewards after IW. I'd like a Fury or a Thor at some point, but then that would only be a 1 cover 4 star.

Terra news- 7 free energy because....JAPAN!  so that def helped, netted me two A classes with that.  One day I shall get something above A class.  One pull got me another Korin, so just boosted his skills. I dont know if Im glad to get a same character for the skill boost or I want someone new to have someone new. Still no Bahamut for me.  Neo Bahamut OMG, those healing goats are a bitch! I got to the 6th battle before I got killed and said screw it.  I can only imagine how horrible neo bahamut is.  Speaking of Bahamut drops, when you defeat him does the little dragon icon pop to let you know when you get him like normal beasts? I never see it & just hope after the results he'll pop up.  Oh & when I get a new cover if MPQ would have some of that catchy upbeat music Terra has, that would be great.  Even if its a crap character that snazzy Terra music makes it better.  Considering who does the music though, I shouldnt be surprised.

AS for MPQ, Im on the 2nd run.  Does scaling kick in on this one?  All the enemies are around level 100, nothing too terrible, but it makes me worry about the next level.  On the blade essential nodes, Im finding that (since they're powered up) Blade, Ares, and Laken are a pretty good combo.  I sliced through most of the essentials in easy without a scratch. 

Speaking of Laken, I looked at Broly's roster for ideas on who to level up.  So its just not me with the Laken Purple.  Black and Blue easy peasy but that purple cover, I only have one, as does Broly.  I never seem to get that one.  Anyone else?

On the Laken front, I just leveled him to 166 today. And once I get through the second Gauntlet, I'll be able to spec him the way I want - 5/5/3. Right now I have him 5/4/4, and I find I just don't use his blue. Sometimes it's because I want to keep the blue pool for Falcon, other times I don't want to remove strike tiles, and most of the time, I forget he has the power.

I have not been using him in the Gauntlet much so far, because I've been saving him for PvP. I want that X-Force black progression at 1300, and wanted to see if I can effectively shield hop without a maxed Sentry or a black-spec'd Hood. Seems to be working for the most part, just a little slower. My last hop was for three fights, and apparently the game saw me get 1300 points. It said I earned the cover, then the screen popped that I had been attacked for 36 points, and no cover for me. Tease.

As much as I would like to keep a top five finish for some Cap Marvel black, I don't know that I'll hop much further beyond 1300, and I'm in fifth right now at 1266. My HP expense so far is well below purchasing the cover I want outright, so I think I will settle for what I aimed for and not be greedy.

I don't see much point in pushing for those cover progression rewards in the Gauntlet.

Ugh, completely forgot about Beast event and why I wanted to do it... Could really use that 4th green Ares right about now.

Doing OK in Gauntlet. Haven't lost a toon yet, but have gotten close. Since my Laken is a still a baby at 1/1/0, I have been using oBW with Ares and Blade, and subbing in my 3/5/3 Cap** (whom I *finally* put some ISO into due to this event) when oBW was out. Not sure what I am going to do on that first node of the 3rd sub, since Ares is on their team. Shooooot.

Anyway, I am on Node 21, Colossus/cMags/Psylocke. L95s here. Those pics from earlier made me shite my pants. Thankfully, my roster is nowhere near the level to deserve that kind of punishment, lol.

Now, Capt Marvel... are you guys telling me she is Essential in the 3rd sub? So, in the off-chance I do make it all the way to the end, I can't get BP without having her?? If so, damn... that means I need to dump someone to pull her in, just to possibly dump her again to free up that slot. Ugh.

And her PvP... that is going to be BRUTAL. Sooooo many ppl pushing and shoving, I bet it is going to be like the last one I tried, where I ended up at 275 after started at 83 and thinking I had a chance to get to 25... Isn't that the same one that Broly won with one match???

This fight is the first one that wiped my team. I fought them at level 295. Man, that yellow on Carol is dangerous. I keep forgetting you need to treat her like Hulk and either slowly pick away or bring someone to stun. Hit her hard enough and you start to take Blasts and Punches to the face. And considering Hypersonic Punch stuns, it starts an avalanche of pain.

Still, got the covers I wanted. Just playing with the last few nodes to see if I can beat them or not.

So... I got greedy and managed a top 5 placement with 1452 points. Once I got my 1300, I put a lower shield to see where I would be in three hours. At that point I was 4th and less than 100 points behind 3rd. Since I had some 40s in my queue, pushed another 100+. I threw up an 8 hour shield to get me almost to the end of the event (an eight and a three cheaper than a day). Twenty minutes before the shield was to expire, I'm in sixth and only 14 points back from fifth. So, I figure what the heck, I can't possibly get knocked out of top 25 placement. Got slowed down in one match and ended up getting hit for 92 before before throwing up another shield for a net gain of about 6 points. Well, crud. Thirty minutes before the end of the event, and fifth place hasn't budged in points. Play the skip game and find a generous X-Man with 49 points. Ten minutes before the end and fifth still hasn't moved. Well, at that point, Sunset Overdrive got paused and I waited until five minutes on the clock. Slammed through that fight as fast as I could and shielded again. Dunno if fifth was watching or not, but didn't respond. Woo.

Key learning: While it's less expensive than outright buying covers, high end shield hopping will cost you. Not just in the shields, but the ISO to skip your way to valid targets and the AP boosts. Also, not having the metagame Sentry/Hood combo will slow you down. My maxed Daken/Thor was fast, but I wasn't getting the less-than-a-minute speed to avoid retaliation losses, and my defensive win ratio was super low.

Now I need to talk myself out of trying this again for a first place finish for the Captain Marvel event - blue is my only missing cover for Fury, but everyone is going to go hard for more Blade covers. Bah.

I was 26 in the Capt marvel tournament when I went (back) to bed this morning. I'm surprised I'm getting attacked this early. Dropped from 500 points down to 425. Maybe once I get back to above 500 or close to 600 just start shielding?

I'll definitely be getting at least one blade cover from this, but would really like to stay above top 25 for two. I don't have any of the ugly captain marvel's so I'm a little deficient there. Thankfully my Psylocke can now me be fully leveled. (If I had the ISO)

In 5 hours  I was attacked about 8 times. Lost a few hundred points and dropped a hundred places. Every team that attacked me was three star 160 level characters. (I'd been picking on the two star 94 guys to move up)

I got to chapter 9 in TB, and there is a metal zone 2, I'm wondering if I can get XP for people over level 20 in there once it opens up.  If it does, there's an outside shot at the item for Bahamut's second job.  My current party is level 27, 26, 25, 23, 22, and 22.

Got Daken from Gauntlet 2, I don't see myself getting very far in 3, so I might skip it.

Yep, but only lvl 20 thru 29 party restriction. Wasted 3 energy points fighting neo boss to revive my lvl 27s party members and scored nothing. So lel up as much as you can b4 tackling the arena. GL
