Marvel Puzzle Quest Discussion Thread

I would in no way label Torch as a support character by the way. His Red is arguably one of the best Red moves in the game!
I feel Psylocke is the same way, but the issue is health wise they cant and shouldnt stand on their own. But by contrast I put GSBW as a support person too, she counts because she makes green tiles? She has by far the best Green when put at level 5. God have her on the team with Panther and who's left after a sniper rifle and rage all at once?

The issue I have with torch is his black drains AP although I use his red, He's just too squishy. Mostly I drop a flame jet and hoard greens trying to avoid him in the spotlight. Which is why I call him support. So I try to pair him with Green generators that put him in the back away from harm. Torch with a variation of Hulk/GSBW/Thor 1-2 flame jets and have Johnny sitting there looking pretty. Of course when paired with hulk Torch uses that red (Thor too, since I haz no red for 3* Thor)

So to me he's support, thanks for listening.

Sincerely yours

Tigger

Yeah, I really don't see Gauntlet being worth the effort. I've barely touched it at all. I'm putting my hopes in something usable from the 10 token pack. (About 700 points away which I should be able to get between the last two tournaments)

after this blade one I can hopefully get the last red for my Thor and then maybe a yellow as well.

Attack on Titan Marvel Crossover....interesting....

Personally I want a second season at least to the anime before all that happens.

Also I am really curious how the hell they will work with creating having multiple times for events to end. That seems like much more hassle than it is worth and I am curious to see how it effects bracket generations and such.
European players get the shaft with the current schedule. It needs more details, but it's one of the evergreen complaints in the forums that they are trying to address.

I think the biggest issue is alliance awards. Will anyone pick anything other than the latest end time if they want an alliance award? Imagine sitting there watching your ranking fall and not being able to do anything about it because none of your top performers picked the last end time. The only way around it I can immediately see is that alliances get bracketed based on which end time a commander picks, or nobody gets to see alliance placement until the event is over. Either one has its own issues.

Who really needs rework? Beast or Daredevil? I think I know the answer, but Beast man. After playing with a tricked out blade & knowing they can come out with good characters straight out the gate how does crap like beast or Dr Ock happen?
Beast. I think Daredevil has a place, but Beast is dead weight. His blue just doesn't operate properly (too high a chance of matching away those new tiles because they are right next to each other, or the countdown ends up on an edge and the new tiles don't even get to pop to begin with), and there are better greens. Oh, and a healing power? That worked out so well for She-Hulk. The situational protect tile is nice, but too much work for something other characters do better. For a character I rather like, he's lousy in this game. Even in his PvP I ran into some 249 Beasts, and I wasn't worried beyond the boosted match damage, and wasn't disabused of the notion, either.

Daredevil becomes so much better when it doesn't feel like the AI knows where your trap tiles are. He's not a pushover when the AI plays him against you.

I hate the current times, and I'm EST. Everything ends when I'm at work or sleeping. Noon or midnight generally. One of the reasons I enter tournaments with a day and a half left or so, since I have no chance of lucking in to a good bracket at the end.

I dont see how they will successfully pull off changing end times without making it unfair to some people. Unless depending on your start time you will obviously have a relative begin time then. The problem then though would be that like Koju said, the Alliance stuff will be all out of whack. The Alliance rankings could span the entire event but there would be no way of gauging placement until it is over because certain people would be able to push at different times depending on their end times.

It sounds like a mess. Mix that with this free 20 member alliance bullshit and this game is really getting on my nerves.

And yeah Beast kind of sucks ass.

And the Attack on Titan thing is interesting because many heroes would be able to fight the Titans without issue really. Their main threats normally are agile Asian kids with ziplines. You replace those kids with Phoenix or Hulk or whoever and they really are not as intense of enemies. Still will be interesting to see and they will obviously then make them more powerful to fit in the marvel universe.

I keep trying to watch anime, and the constant verbal 'noise' gets to me. I think I do better with movies, but even that's hit or miss. I've watched Titan in five minute blocks because I have Adult Swim on while I play the last hour of an MPQ event, and I end up having to change the channel.

I dunno. I can watch straight up junk Syfy originals, but anime just makes my brain itch.

So... Marvel vs. Titan does nothing for me. And it's not like any of it is going to get adapted to MPQ before 2032.  :p

Hope it's good for those of you into it, though.

I want to see how they take on the death aspect of it. Think of it: Titans eat, not because they have to, its an uncontrollable hunger. Mix that with a populace who has no idea who or what a titan is. Sure they run and scream and just hope the heroes save them but these things are out to eat.

.......AAAAAAaaannnndddd I just realized this is the exact story of Marvel zombies, just take out the zombie aspect and put in titans and boom same difference. Titans will try to eat the marvel super heroes like the zombies did, wow, rehashed event before it even started......

Hahah damn it totally is! Way to ruin that for us DS, jeez!

I could do without the constant announcements that alliances have 20 spots available. Any way to turn these off?
Yeah it is like they are constantly rubbing it in my face and each time I see it I get annoyed all over again.

Anime is pretty hit or miss, to most americans I think they view it as just cartoons. Its animated, they see it, its cartoons. Then again Im the same way with sitcoms. Take friends, if they did an anime version, it would probably blow the show away. Everyone loved that show, Im like meh. Also the humor and culture is just radically different. I was watching "The devil is a part timer" and found that show hilarious. But because it dealt with the devil & evil I could see a lot of negativity and avoidance of it. Remember where I live southern baptists are crazy & even try to boycott Harry Potter.

Hahah damn it totally is! Way to ruin that for us DS, jeez!
I was trying to be funny but the more I thought about it, Im like damn, really? Aside from Zombie-ism some marvel heroes are going to be eaten and die. Titans are pretty much an equivalent of a giant zombie. Waves of them, insatiable hunger, hard to kill. I enjoyed the anime, but damn was it brutal and the titans were creepy as hell. I think it was their over exaggerated features and faces.

As an animator myself I find love for all things animated hahah

Animated films are the only ones I usually see in theaters too!

In regards to anime though the cool thing is, that there is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH that even if people are like 'Oh I dont like anime" I can almost guarantee there is at least one show out there that just clicks with them. At this point it is just a numbers game haha

Also, any word on new PvE stuff today? I would imagine this or the following one will be what introduces Nightcrawler.

Colossus is the new reward for the Thor tournament.

I ended up with 708 points. Not sure as to what place. The usual event ended screen didn't show up. Oddly enough it told me I finished with 693 points even though I started the last battle (with 2 minutes left) with 708 points.  So....

I am so stoked for the Colossus reward! Screw you Falcon, Colossus gets all my ISO now ; P

But seriously I already have mine with 9/13 powers so even scoring 2 will drastically increase his soft cap. Plus it the Lords of Thunder PvP so I am at an instant advantage there.

I was thinking then of a good team with Thor leading the powered up charge, though really it doesnt matter. When I Broly a PvP event, it really doesnt matter how strong my team is in terms of powers, the most important thing is a solid rainbow team so that I can quickly knock out people with just my match damage and then if I can shoot off a power, even better! So it made me think of probably Thor, BP and Deadpool to get a solid rainbow going. Then I realized how amazing of a full wipe team that is. Every match you always seem to get certain colors more largely available than others and so if you have more colors that could do massive team damage the better. If there is a surplus of yellow then I pull of Thor's Yellow to create more Green and clear them with Call the Storm. If there are a lot of Black then BAM Rage of the Panther or then if there are a boat load of purples then I can have Deadpool throw a whale on 'em. With a team like that you are more likely/ quickly to reach more 'end match' moves since you have a greater likelihood of it. I somewhat rushed through that explanation and am not sure if it made sense hahah

But yeah that last one with Blade I jumped in with 6 minutes left and nailed a solid bracket. I was really hoping to nab the #1 spot for that X-Force but I think I ended just somewhere top 5. Again at this point now I could have made more than 2 fully trained Thor's! Same here though, the end result screen is not visible like it usual is so I have no idea where I placed officially.

Yeah, I'm pushing for a top 5 in the next one. Picked up the purple Fury at the 1300 progression with very little backsliding, so now I know I can reach that when I want to. Considering 1300 gets me an X-Force cover I need and I could use each cover color for Colossus, just need to work out a bracket time. My 1400+ score only put me top 10 in the Blade event, top 5 was still about 100 more points above me. (Didn't need the Thor covers, was just trying to get better ISO/HP.)

Man, I am still kicking myself after missing those Blade covers. Thirst was spamming like crazy with my opponents.

Yeah Thirst is far more useful than I first imagined it to be! That is crazy you are getting that high of scores Koju!!

And DS I don't even know what to say to that hahaha

I'm going to jump in with 16 hours left. Thursday is looking horribly busy for me, so it wouldn't help me to jump in when I can't play for a long stretch after. Friday however, as Spidey and Batman can attest, will be a good day to just half-hide behind my desk.

Damn, must have gotten knocked down in the last few moments. I ended only at the top 10 for the Thor PvP. Ended up completing 4 matches in 6 minutes before it ended.

I feel so bad having sold so many damn Thors but at least this ISO will go to boosting my Colossus

Dick. I jumped in with 7 minutes, and ended with 130+ points... in 217th place. It's like your s/n is in a magical new-bracket-start list, and that whenever you jump in for a tournament, a new bracket is set up.

7 minutes is too late! 6 or less seems to be the hot spot for me.

I still attest that this works in some weird way because my MMR is somehow so permanently effed.

Hmm... there may be something to this theory. Like a large majority of everyone else in your MMR had already started, because they're hardcore players, all stemming back from the tourney for Thor way back when. Hmmm...

Lol I was playing a new zone in Terra Battle so I jumped in 4 minutes before it ended. I got a whole whopping 25 points & one standard token! So um that didnt work, I think I was last in my bracket before it closed, maybe 387 or something?

Standard token got me......IM40 blue, ballistic salvo, which I needed to drop recharge down 1 notch, so there's that. Probably going to work on my season rewards for a 10 pack. I got 2500 points now, so its something to do.

...or packing, I need to do that....

It seems ridiculous but that is the only thing to make any logical sense seeing as I am the only one who consistently finds success with this method for PvP.

What confuses me though then is that Koju clearly pushes really hard as well in PvP and yet after that one Thor launch eventa long while back my entire MMR has been messed up beyond repair.

Great. Next PvE is tomorrow, Juggernaut Heroic. More freakin' overpowered Dark Avengers with a limited roster. Joy.

Oh, and you get to win Mystique. Kind of underwhelmed at the power descriptions at the moment, maybe it'll look better in the game.

Maybe we'll get Sentinel goons to fight soon. Then we can say That was Mystique, not Magneto all day long.
You catch this part at the end?

Marvel.com: Anything else we need to know about Mystique?

Joe Fletcher: While Mystique may be the latest in the realm of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, we’ve got a lot more coming before the end of the year. Mystique’s not the last you've seen of the Marvel Universe ladies this year either, especially if you’re into the more rough and tumble types as opposed to Raven and Natasha’s black ops style combat.

DS, you're the comic expert... who's next?

I actually am really intrigued by Mystique's moves. I see her with a bunch of potential, plus her colors makes her fit very well with most two character combos.

In regards to the next females from the Brotherhood I would imagine Scarlet Witch or Rogue would be good additions that fit that bill.

I like Mystique's moves too! I've been wanting a 3* OBW-type since forever. And now, knowing that she can negate, replicate, and eliminate the big damage dealers for most of the meta teams (Sentry, lick a donger), she's another high want. Helps that I have a semi-decent Magneto to pair with her.

EDIT: Her moves aren't expensive either (8, 9, and 11)

If we're going rough and tumble I can see rogue in there.  Scarlet Witch is Iffy, since she's an avenger as well and not so rough.

We could see the intorduction of Gamora, due to the popularity of the GotG, no one is rougher than the daughter of Thanos.

I just wonder if he means more villians or heroes, as Mystique comes out of left field.  I could see elektra, spider-woman, as they're staples, but they're more strikers than anything.  We've got Nick Fury, why not Maria Hill?

I will say this, it will be someone mainstream, had the GotG movie not come out, I wouldnt even think Gamora.  There's a ton of Marvel ladies out there, Just take a look at all the female x-men.  Although if I had to pick, Id say the next female would be non mutant due to mystique and probably a hero not villian.

As far as excitement I'll hold off, still trying to get my daredevil a blue cover.....and thanks to my botched last minute attempt still no red on my 3* Thor lol oh well.

funny-thor-loki-meme-thor-subject.jpg

Marvel Avengers Alliance just got Blade a bit ago (facebook game). I wonder if it will be another parallel or that was just a coincidence? That game definitely doesn't have Mystique yet. Hell, the current PvE character to get is Morbius haha

Another grind for everyone to get Myst now...which will then be a req char for essential nodes. MOAR HP

On a side note, sounds like she will be a good OBW replacement without the temp healing.

So many teams inside the simulation that gives you 50 pts easily.

I got a red thor cover. No idea where I placed. I unshielded in the last half hour and thought I moved up enough to be top 25, but I guess not.

Got my 10 pack. Three  (3) ***-Star characters. One hood, one Iron man, and one Magneto. I could only use the Magneto.

What a waste.

Apparently the servers for MPQ don't operate on daylight savings time. Event ended at 10am PST. Where as every other one in recent memory has ended at 9am PST.

is the tablet game that same as the pc one. I was wonder how much does it cost to add more people to your team (says 50 coins add one slot- is it 50 per slot or does that slot go up in price) Just started the pc side and starting to see if you dont put real cash into it your going to go nowhere fast. Is the tablet the same way

I play on iPad, I've heard from some the interface on Steam is better. The cost to add new characters does go up as you go on. I'm at 42, and I think it was 550 HP last time. If you get in a decent alliance, you could make enough HP to add slots without spending real money. You also get some HP from daily rewards too.

on steam it takes coins to open to open up slots. 50 to open up the first. was thinking about buying 200 coins for 2 bucks to see if it opened up 4 slots

Here is the pricing schedule for roster slots in HP. 200 coins will get you three more. The in-game costs are the same, regardless of platform.

I recommend working your way through the prologue and paying attention to the awards. There are nodes that give HP as a reward. Here's the list if you want to find them faster. Just in chapter one you can earn that 200. If it isn't obvious, you can repeat fights to try and earn the awards you haven't gotten yet.

This game works as free to play, it just takes a while to get competitive.

Additionally, whichever platform you decide on, note that your profile cannot move from one to the other. Mobile platforms let you syncronize with Facebook, and you can move from mobile device to mobile device (even between iOS & Android - no Windows Phone). Steam does not have that ability, either transferring in or out. Other than interface and the occasional sale, though, they are the same game and you compete with players on all platforms. I find that mobile has the benefit of being able to play whenever + Facebook friend rewards, but Steam gives you a better interface and seems faster.

thanks for those pages though some of the rewards were changed. Like final doom used to give 100 hero points now it gives you two tokens

6th person is 50.

7th person is 100

playing too much in vs trying to find a league that will take my people (twice i got kicked right when the rewards was to come out after putting a few hundred points in the total :(

going to go back to story mode. Got iron man around level 30 where one move can hit for 600 hp of damage with 10 red.. I think the mistake i made was i dumped off a lot of my one star and pushed two stars into the fix when i dont have any covers for 2 stars

Ah, yeah, forgot about that. They used to force you to spend HP on a cover in the prologue/tutorial, and instead switched it to a token award.

Got my 10 pack...afraid to open it. Do you guys think there will be a Heroic roster update soon?
I think they said it will be changing with the seasons from now on. I'll try and find the announcement post on D3P where I read that...

EDIT: Found it.

Great news - we're finally going to add the new characters to the comic packs.

Going forward, new characters are going to rotate into the comic packs in sync with Versus seasons. New characters will be added into the packs, and older characters will be given some time out of the packs. As a result, we'll be getting all the new characters into the packs without reducing the rates of any of the 3 and 4 stars, so your character progress won't slow down.

Our first rotation will happen on October 17th with Season 7.

In: Beast, Captain Marvel, Colossus, Deadpool, Doctor Octopus, She-Hulk
Out: Daredevil, Doctor Doom, Human Torch (Classic), Loki, Ragnarok, Wolverine (Patch), Punisher

The first characters that are taken out of packs will start rotating back in during Season 8. We'll always communicate in advance which characters will be rotating out.

This will put the latest characters into the packs sooner and allow us to work on the characters that are out of the spotlight.

Well looks like I have a minute, lets see if the fingers fly and the points come across.

Tiggers Tournaments: Thoughts, Tips, Tricks, Techniques, Testimonials, AND TIMING!!!!  (Thanks Koju!)

Tournaments, what can you say?  Great way to see the abilities of your teams and get covers.  Also a great way to get frustrated with the game.  As you watch yourself climb up and down the ranks; you try and figure out what the hell you're doing wrong or what exactly you're doing right. Being in the CAGengers and hearing all our witty banter here ( & tons of my horrible pics & memes) we've come across the Broly way to tournament.  So thats where I want to go, is distinguishing regular play from Brolying and the benefits and disadvantages to both.

Regular play first:

First off regular play is more stable.  You have a good idea where you're at and where you're going to be.  Unless you give a super big push or tons of effort; you're more than likely going to be in a top 100 placement.  Not bad, that will give you a decent set of rewards.

Event timimg: sure even when not Brolying timing is important.  Enter when the event first starts you're going to be competing with people who play all day every day.  So you need to find which time suits you the best.  For best luck and decent brackets I find under 24 hours to be the best time to come into a tournament and expect a top 50-100 placement.  12-16 hours is usually good for a normal player.

Season/progression rewards:  Because with regular play, you are playing regularly, you'll get the progression and season rewards.  This also coincides with timing.  Personally I enter my tournaments at 16 hours & get to 600 points when I play.  This will net me a top 100 and x progression rewards.  Also this is stable enough to get a heroic season 10 pack in about 6 tournaments as I also play the simulator when Im not ready to enter a tournament.  This helps get my daily rewards, keeps my season progression points up, and helps me time my tournament entries. Also points can be just as great n the simulator, some upwards of 40+ points.

Last minute tournament playing (Aka Brolying)

The biggest thing about this is its not the most stable way to play and the reason for that is timing.  You have to know the exact time to enter when trying last minute.  The rewards can be very awesome, but if done incorrectly can leave you in virtually last place with bottom tier rewards. Having said that...

It can be the most frustration free was to tournament.  Play >10 minutes of a tournament and end up being #1 in your bracket with all rewards.  Whats better than that?  While everyone shields and has been playing 2 days straight you waltz in and take the cake.

In trade off you wont have any progression points or rewards. Some people dont care about the 10 packs or rewards so this may not be a big thing.

Because its a big issue I'll say it once again: TIMIMG.  This not only encompasses entry in the tournament but the tournament itself.  Since entry requires you to be as close to the end of a tournament there's always a chance that you'll forget and miss the tournament and not get any kid of rewards.  Nothing worse than thinking the time ends ay y when it ends at x, you log in to compete and get pop ups for alliance rewards.

Lets say you do remember when the tournament ends . When do you enter? The sweet spot is less than 10 minutes making sure you have opponents queued up you can easily dispatch, meaning the seed teams.  When a tournament starts you need to click the nodes and make sure you have the seed teams locked in.  Not saying you need the seed teams, it just makes it easier.  The way Broly has done it it seems he needs about 100-200 points to lock in a good position using his technique.  ON average a seed team gives 25 points, you want to beat all 3, with points diminishing per battle its probably under 75, but we'll lowball it at 100 to be safe.

Timing however is not an exact science and can definitely hurt you more than help you.  until you get a groove you will have to play with what works for you. Personal example, I played 1 tournament for 15 minutes: was top 50.  Played another for with 15 minutes left: top 250.  Tried another tournament with 5 minutes left: top 400.  Having said that by figuring out your timing you'll missout on throse precious covers and progression rewards.

If it sounds like Im dissuading from using last minute play Im not.  Its a great way to get some much needed covers easily.  I just want to point out there are some flaws.  Also I look at it from another perspective: you work hard or not in a tournament for covers.  Open up a token and poof, gold cover with no effort.  The game will give you covers, its up to you at the pace you're going to get them.  Makes it hard to work so much for a 4* when Im getting invisible woman covers from standard tokens you know?

Misconceptions about tournament playing

"Im in x place! Wait what the hell, Im in Y place now? But I was doing so good!"

Ive done this, 1 battle Im in top 5.  Awesome me, Im gonna win!  2 days later top 250 and Im getting a 2* reward. What happened? Why did I do so terrible?  The easiest answer is you just started a new bracket, so there was little to no competition, once more people got into your bracket you fell behind.  Its not that you suck or are terrible and you can still pull yourself out of it.

Essentially you're in a marathon or race.  You came straight out the gate top speed full blast and are in front.  As more racers come into the race they will pass you.  As you slow down more and more racers will pass you.  You either get your second wind and pick up the pace, shield, or choose a different time to start the race for better placement.  Its just that simple, you're not doing horribly in the tournament, everyone isnt better than you, its just timing and the way you want to play it.  Remember biggest thing is timing.

If we all push as a alliance we can get x rewards, we made top y in the PVE we can do it!

PVE alliance rewards are completely different than PVP.  In a tournament alliance members rosters and what is able to compete are drastically different.  As some people may have a maxed out roster of 3*s someone else may have only a couple 2*s at mid level at best.  In a PVE those characters could be powered up and give that player an advantage.  PVP only the main character is powered up, and usually most new players are using the 1 cover loaner.  Players with lower rosters arent necessarily happy with the lower tier rewards. Everyone wants a shiny 3* cover, even if they dont have the slots or ability to use that character.  Its really disheartening for those players to compete in a tournament and possibly win something they cant use.  Then if the cover is won, we come to the question should I keep this character I use and leveld up for this 1 cover 3* I may not get covers for a while on.  Sure sounds like an easy choice but how easy is it for you to give up a 3*?

The biggest issue with that is are you sure its for the alliance or its what you want? Plain and simple is we all look out for ourselves, and if we truly wanted to always get cover rewards for the alliance we'd end up being like those "other alliances". I want us to be casual, play together, talk and chat.  Not have everyone worry if they dont make 1k points per tournament they'll get kicked.

Shielding is a waste of Hero Points

Ha this one used to be big.  Is it a waste, well yes and no.  If you've played 1 battle and are top 5 with 2 days left, no shielding wont do squat for you.  If you're top 5 with 3 hours left, hell yes, shield for 3 hours and walk away until the end.  The best times to shield are the last day of a tournament and this will really depend on your placement.  Is it necessary? no, but it will help.  Because it does help so much thats why people have develped play styles based on shielding: Shield Hopping.  Although there's really no telling how often you'll be attacked, its basically up to you when you want to shield.  Speaking of attacking thats the nest topic.

Why do they always attack me? I lost 100 points in the past 5 minutes!

Did you shield? lol  Seriously shielding does play a small part in that, but its mostly with your placement. How many points do you have and what place are you?  Going for a top spot? You and everyone else. Remember we're in a race, if you're gunning for the top, so are other people.  If you're in their way, they're going to take you down. Usually you wont see much competition until you hit around 900 points or so.  Less than that you shouldnt see many attacks. If you're in a small bracket it will be because of your placement more than points.  Long story short the higher you rank, the more attacks you're going to have.

Im facing all 3*s with level 166

Once again: Placement.  I wouldnt call it punishment for doing so well, but in a way it is.  You're up there, top tier of your bracket, so you're facing top tier opponents in their brackets.  Also this may be based on point values, Koju and I have discussed this.  Back to the issue of timing: I come in 24 hours left into a tournament averaging 600 points.  I rarely see a 3* character.  I have mid level points and rank top 100.  My opponents are 2* 94s with an occasional 3* in the 100s.  If you truly want to avoid these teams, dont gun so hard, come in at a later bracket, and keep your score low.  The game goes on progression, the better you do the better your opponents.  Just think of it as PVPs way of scaling.

I think thats all I got kiddos, maybe too long, maybe too short, but I can always get more into details as we discuss.  Does the class have anything to add? Koju did a great job starting it, and I know everyone loves more tips that can help them with their game.

Happy playing and Excelsior!

Tiggers Tournaments: Titillating Thoughts, Tips, and Tricks To Take Top Tier... Today!
; P

That was definitely thorough!

I am by no means going to type out nearly as much as you have but I will just make a few notes.

Timing is everything like you said and I just want to confirm that the 12-16 hour range is a PERFECT range for when to join, at least from my experience.

In regards to Brolying the PvP's I feel I need to chime in here then since well... I am Broly haha

I actually NEVER have gotten more than about 135 points doing this method. My normal points are 75-135. With those seed teams queued up my best bet is joining 6 minutes before, plowing through the three seed teams in a minute each and then do a few quick skips to get a doable 4th team and play that and (hopefully) finish in time. It is important to note that with these speed is everything so having a rainbow team where each of your tiles matches are doing substantial damage is key.

Again however, timing is of course key and I cannot stress enough the risk that is associated with doing this method. I simply do not have the time to monitor PvP like I did before and so if you know you will not have the time for a PvP or really do not even need the rewards, doing this method is a great choice. If for someone you could REALLY use I definitely recommend doing it the normal way as this method is highly unpredictable and like mentioned before, it is very possible to get placed at the very bottom of a high scoring bracket and get screwed.

I think that is all I want to comment on right now but I am sure more will come up. Like I said though, great breakdown DS.

Tiggers Tournaments: Thoughts, Tips, and Tricks (only 5 T's was hoping for more)
Yeah, I wish you could have found another T word that played a big part in your comments.

Event timimg: sure even when not Brolying timing is important.

This also coincides with timing.

The biggest thing about this is its not the most stable way to play and the reason for that is timing.

Because its a big issue I'll say it once again: TIMIMG.

timing however is not an exact science and can definitely hurt you more than help you.

Having said that by figuring out your timing you'll missout on throse precious covers and progression rewards.

Its just that simple, you're not doing horribly in the tournament, everyone isnt better than you, its just timing and the way you want to play it.

Remember biggest thing is timing.

Back to the issue of timing:
