On my Amazon orders with release date delivery, I'll usually get a shipping confirmation email the afternoon or night before the day the game comes out.

Thats how it works, I always thought the reason was they didn't want to break street day by someone getting it early because they lived close to a shipping center. I've always gotten it on release day except once but that was because Fedex gave it to a neighbor on accident.
 
I got an email from Amazon at 359est time that they got more special editions of the x360 version in-stock. By the time I went to check around 750am when I woke up they were already sold out. :( Damn that was fast.

I do too. I hope Amazon at least gets it to us by release day like it claims. I have my doubts though.
 
I've used Amazon's release-date delivery probably about 10 times now. I usually get confirmation either Sunday or Monday before the game is released. The only probably is somethings they don't get it to my house till around 6 at night.

I bet its UPS. Sometimes the UPS comes around 7pm for me or later. Plus when I had my amazon trial they shipped most games UPS. Some was USPS though. Since it claims it will come on release date. It will prob be UPS overnight.
 
Arcade Legacy (in Cincinnati) got three copies from the Capcom store and are letting people play them all day today. Ten dollar entry and it's a stellar pay-for-entry-that's-it arcade... I might have to drive up there after dinner.

The UPS guy rolls around at about 4:30 pm. SOMETIMES, he'll come at around noon. Hoping, if it comes UPS, it'll be noon, but I'm never that lucky.

The UPS is pretty fucking random for me. One time he came at 12:30 then one time it was 4:30,but usually its around 7 most of the time. I hope I would be lucky enough for it to come sooner like some has before,but I doubt it. Since I really want it. It will be 8pm and I'll think where is it!?!?!??!! lol

I was hoping for Ghost Raider too, hope it comes as a downloadable content but I doubt it
 
No stores in Memphis have it early, can't wait for Tuesday. Everyone that is worried about release date from Amazon shouldn't be.. you'll get your confirmation soon and it'll get there Tuesday.

I'm nowhere near as good as most of you guys probably but in MvC2 I had some characters I was pretty consistent with so hopefully it will be similar in 3. Is there a specific night you guys play?

Watching that for a little though did make the game look sort of broken. With Sentinel and the way he kept spamming that attack with Arthur.

I've bought a ton of games from Amazon with release date delivery, and I always get my games on the release day. Don't worry about it. :)

No spectator mode? That kinda sucks, but, at the same time, I'm happy I don't get to see the guy who just whooped on my head whooping on someone else's head. I think once I get the game, and have to sit through a damn menu, I'm gonna miss it though...
 
Dark Phoenix + Hyper Combo on Sentinel might be a full bar KO. That's via chip damage btw.

Great stream. Only got a chance to watch about a hour and a half but well worth it. I know more or less what to expect online next week should I choose to delve into it with the stick I have now. Probably just stick with mission and arc mode until I get the fundamentals down. It was pretty funny watching half of the chat complain about Arthur's keep away though until Marn got tired of it and started cleaning house. After that EVERYONE was ODing on his dick.

That's a fucking shame. After 10+ years you'd think they would at least put in the stuff that was in SSFIV.
 
gotta agree, the lobby system is fucking terrible.

A bunch of player cards bouncing around and watching health-bars drain repeatedly. I like the function to reserve a battle like putting a quarter down, but other than that, terrible.

The game is awesome, but it'll be even better when this shit is fixed.
 
Yeah, I don't understand why they didn't just implement the SSF4 system for online into this. I think they would patch Spectator Mode in, but considering Capcom's support for SF4 and SSF4 have been extremely poor I doubt we'll see a patch or a download.
 
Capcom has already confirmed that they'll be patching Spectator Mode in. I imagine it'll drop the same time that the Ghost A.I. system will be put into the game about a month (?) after release.

Where did they confirm that?

I'd also like for them to let me look at how many bars my opponent has in lobbies so I can kick them like in SSF4 but apparently that isn't the deal here either.

I would not at all be surprised to see a Super MvC3 next year just by looking at it.

I wouldn't be surprised if they re-released the game with all the downloaded content bundled, but that isn't a super edition. Capcom sucks, yeah yeah, but there's no history of them doing super editions of their Vs games so I just find it weird that people keep insisting this will happen.
 
So I think Marn showed pretty clearly that Dark Pheonix is no joke in the right hands, especially when she's in X-Factor.

The questionnaire is extremely thorough. It reminds me of the first time I read a card building FAQ for Yu-Gi-Oh! when its popularity started skyrocketing. Thanks Tom. Definitely something to reference in the future.
