They need to take their time with it. They've been taking the meat off the grill while it was still pink a lot lately. Now's the time to take things slow. Now's the time to be patient. Now's the time to treat this thing like two porcupines fucking: very god damn carefully.

Ummm I like my steak medium rare! Chicken - not so much... Wait - so your saying they need to smoke that brisket! Man I think I'm hungry now...

Run away and let someone else deal with it.

jk.

The Disciple is pretty good at stunning them, if the hits register before they OHK teleport.
With both weight skills and a few weapon mods/levels I can carry a SMG and Disciple while still having the 200% recharge.

Did change my mind about using the card.

Set the powers for both male & female last night, then played a few silver rooms.
Good against most enemies and bosses but very similar to the Asari Adept, minus Stasis.
Blech, Kaidan is my least favorite character in the series. Hopefully they're bringing all the other major characters back too.
Kaiden? Oh yeah, that guy. I killed him off years ago (literally) and haven't seen him since. I forgot he even existed. Like others have said, Ash isn't much better though - was not thrilled with her having such a big part in ME3.

He means that bitter aftertaste most people tasted was, quite possibly, salmonella. Or mad cow. Whichever is worse.

Damn I still have yet to get my pack. I played 2 gold games. One was a loan survivor and the other was a partial extraction.

I was in a silver match where two of the people were idling for the first 7 waves (One of the leechers was almost rank 1,100). 3 of those, I won completely on my own because the other person actually playing died (couldnt get to him in time). We ended up winning with only a partial extraction because I tried to revive one of the culprits and ended up dying myself and when we got back to the lobby, instead of voting to boot the leechers, they voted to boot me.

Gotta love it.

Sounds about right. In a gold game I died about once every wave. That was after others had died and me trying to get to them. I also had the second highest score. What did I get 2 people wanting to kick me so I just dropped out. In the past I have had people want to kick me because I had the highest score.

My advice for dealing with leechers is to flat out quit the game and stop carrying them. Most of the time during the earlier waves you won't lose your equipment for doing so and it's the only thing you can do to guarantee your time isn't wasted. All the while screwing them in the process since the average lobby will fall like a stack of dominoes when one person leaves. If your the host or carrying the team then it's guaranteed.

As for the run of the mill elitist teams who boot you for any and every reason known to mankind? Just ignore them. Personally I go out of my way to avoid playing with mic teams in public so I'm less likely to deal with that shit. Of course the skill level of those you're likely to run into will plummet, but they'll be less likely to kick overall. What they will do however is leave when they realize someone scored higher than them.

The entire kick system is horribly flawed in general. I'm just glad they had the foresight to not implement the system to work during waves otherwise all hell would have broken loose.

So the multiplayer is on each disk right, I could lend one of the me3 disks to a friend and he'd just have to buy an online pass to play mp. I know I'll need both if I play sp again but that will be a while.

If you could do it in the waves then I don't think many people would complete them. Only way to complete all 11 waves would be to have a group of people you know or play with often. No group of randoms would last past wave 3.
It's only fair...especially if Kaiden's VO got new work. But good news, nonetheless.
Yeah, I hope there is a significant amount of dialog in the EC... we're gonna need a LOT of it to attempt to smooth over the ending.

Hoping we hear from Ash Sroka and Brandon Keener soon. Some news on the ME2 squadmates would be nice, too.

Hopefully they're focusing all of their effort on this and will get it right the second time. With all of the buzz we seem to be finding about it, let's hope all of the VO talent gets some time in the booth.

I wonder how much they are adding. I really hope you get to see more of a battle and it includes all the allies you were able to get. I wan't to see the Elcor fuck some shit up. Really though some ground fighting would have been nice to see. Hell even more of the fighting in space.

I want another easy challenge of promoting or something. As long as it's not bonus xp. Bonus credits against a certain faction would be cool, but I bet if they did that it wouldn't be geth to discourage ggw.

Operation Silencer is a go:
Cerberus defectors have verified key intel on Reaper banshees to help provide us a vulnerability to exploit. Banshees are created from a specific kind of asari that cannot be replaced quickly, so we are diverting forces to focus on an all-out banshee extermination effort.

This task is an onerous one, and many of you are right to dread contact with these particular foes, but rest assured that we are prepared to reinforce your battalion with reserves. The vorcha want in, and as soon as they complete combined-arms training with our technically-skilled personnel, we will let them loose.

It’s time to make our enemies scream.

Allied Goal: Kill 3,000,000 banshees
Squad Goal: Survive until a full extraction on any map against any enemy on gold difficulty.

Successful completion of the allied goal will grant all players a Victory Pack.
Successful completion of the squad goal will grant all squadmates a Commendation Pack.
After Exorcist I have no interest in carrying any randoms in Gold so if I can't find a team I won't be going for it.

Oooh, Geth/Gold/White. I'm so sick of you.

I'll be on this weekend for some teamups. We'll have to get together, Ink. Ever since seeing how crazy Sabotage can be against organics, I kinda want to try the Quarian Infiltrator again.

Ian: I'm down and yeah I heard the Sabotage Backfire buff is ridiculously overpowered w/ cloak. Problem is you don't actually get credit for those kills. Balance wise they are supposed to be buffing Adrenaline Rush, Marksman, Lift Grenades, Shockwave and a few others later this week. I'm interested to see what more they can do BESIDES the obvious (health/shield buff) to make people resist the urge to kick Human Soldiers in lobbies. The only thing that comes to mind is a full shield replenish then I'll actually have a reason to spec melee instead of duration so I can spam the hell out of it.

Shrike: I'm pretty sure the top 10 on Xbox are all well over 5,000 N7. Not sure where they find the time or interest personally.

Also judging from the Vorcha mention I'll take that as hard confirmation that the Rebellion DLC rumors aren't rumors at all. All this leaking is starting to spiral out of control.

Some of us aren't so blessed with the amount of free time.

I think with the amount of "leaking" going on about it, Rebellion DLC is pretty much assured to be out sometime in the future.

Hopefully we'll have some comments from Mark Meer and Jennifer Hale next, plus Courtenay Taylor (Jack), Yvonne Stravhoski, Seth Green, Steven Barr (Wrex), as well as anyone else I'm missing.

Hearing news of someone like Quinton Flynn (Kolyat) coming in to do work would be really exciting. Would likely mean they were going all out in terms of closure,
especially for Thane fans.
I'd bet good money on all the ME2 squadmates getting screwed (again) on this one.
I really hope not. Extended Cut isn't going to completely fix the ending, but it's a chance to address not only the closure concerns, but the shafting of ME2 squadmates and romances as well.

Yeah, that's my fear too.

As amazing as the huge 12-man squad and anyone-can-die Suicide Mission was in ME2... it really put them over a barrel for ME3.

Obviously, there's numerous VAs they can pull back in, depending on where they want to go with it.

I'll be on here begging for help this weekend. I feel as though if me and my brother had two other good players we might be able to beat gold. I've never made it past wave 6 in gold.
I'll be on this weekend, Inky. Afterall...

It's Dangerous to Extract Alone :D
Good. Your Valiant and Banshee magnet powers will come in handy. Oh, and the fact I can trust you to actually kill whatever is in front of you helps too. I'm sick of babysitting and every single time I've tried to revive randoms I've gone down and had to waste equipment this week. I'm running out of medi-gel. Also went five straight FW/G Gold games yesterday without an extraction so yeah. I'm fit to be tied when it comes to public games. I swear Exorcist taught randoms the worst lesson - joining higher difficulties is a'ok because someone will carry you.

Even worse the join in game progress keeps attracting Bronzers to my Silvers. It's f*cking ridiculous. It's called a damn filter BioWare. I can't blame them for the stupid shit your game is capable of.

Ryu: Understated. There's also the fact that none of this would even be happening if not for the fan outcry. Oh, and it's free of charge for us. Not to mention it would be VERY unlike EA to be that thorough for something like this. It isn't even a rewrite like most of us wanted so it wouldn't be out of the ordinary for them to cut costs by keeping the VO work restricted to your Normandy crew + squadmates.

Sorry for the double post but the MP changes are live:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
May 9, 2012
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shockwave Power
- Base damage increased from 200 to 300
- Base force increased from 600 to 700
- Rank 3 damage and force bonus increased from 20% to 25%
- Evolution 3 bonus to biotic combos increased from 50% to 65%

Incinerate Power
- Evolution 3 bonus damage-over-time increased from 40% to 50%

Lift Grenade
- Base damage increased from 500 to 750

Marksman Power
- Base cooldown decreased from 8 to 6 seconds

Adrenaline Rush Power
- Base cooldown decreased from 10 to 6 seconds

Ballistic Blade Power
- Fixed evolution 2 to increase the cone angle to 110 degrees instead of 360 degrees

Cerberus Centurion
- Reduced ideal range from target from 12 meters to 8 meters
- Reduced ideal max range from target from 40 meters to 35 meters
- (Silver) Increased max amount of shields regenerated from 50% to 60%
- (Silver) Reduced delay before shields start regenerating from 7.5 seconds to 7 seconds
- (Silver) Health increased from 1125 to 1240
- (Gold) Increased max amount of shields regenerated from 60% to 75%
- (Gold) Reduced delay before shields start regenerating from 6.5 seconds to 6 seconds
- (Gold) Health increased from 1687.5 to 1860

I can't say I'm impressed at all. I don't understand why a simple range and radius buff which would make ALL the difference for Shockwave is apparently taboo for BioWare. I'm not giving up both range and radius upgrades when you need perfect accuracy and have to be within kissing distance to guarantee a hit otherwise. More force though which leads to guaranteed staggers is always a good thing.

The enemy buffing also has to stop especially for the easiest faction. Just release a god damn Platinum difficulty and be done with it already. Stop penalizing everyone else especially new/inexperienced players just to cater to the whims of your official forum trolls. 90% of those clowns only use the most OP set ups and classes in full parties on Gold and won't play anything else for christ sake.

The only great news out of all this is the Premium Spectre Pack and Jumbo Equipment Packs now being permanent additions to the store. Now I can FINALLY re-up on medi-gel on a regular basis. Thank goodness.
Bring back Jenkins!
Yeah, put him "back to work". Har har

Seriously though, the more VO's the better but I don't expect anything from non-ME3 squad mates.

I guess it's time to start playing MP again. I dislike that the goals keep getting harder instead of something fun. It would be nice to see some new game types rotated for operation weekends.

Extended Cut: Scene 1

Jenkins awakens in a hospital room on the Citadel.

Dr. Karin Chakwas: Jenkins! You're awake!

Lieutenant Shepard: Jenkins, we thought you were a goner after you got knocked out by that laser blast. Do you remember anything that happened on Eden Prime?

Richard Jenkins: Guys... I had the strangest dream...

This was exactly the first thing I said at work after beating the game. :applause:

I havent played the game in a while and I just came back to it....I never used asst rifles before and I kinda dont get their purpose.

There are only like 3 asst rifles all are so weak that you might as well not use them...and other others are a assault shotgun...an 2 grenade launchers and sometime type of slug?

Where are the real asst rilfes or should I be using one of them nade launcher things?

Sadly, that's the problem I have with Mass Effect 3. I play a Soldier and like to use Assault Rifles. But all the ARs feel like slightly better SMGs. In fact, the only "true" AR is the Revenant and with the nerf from ME2->ME3, it doesn't work without certain powers (Marksman) to offset the hit. All we have now are burst-fire (lame), single-shot (also lame), or mini-grenade launchers? None of the ARs have any real power.

"Where's the MEAT?"

Bring the Revenant back to its former glory (better accuracy, more damage, bigger clip, faster reload). Or hell, make new ARs. Ones that are preferably more in line with what a REAL AR is (good accuracy, good damage, decent clip size, great fire rate, and good reload speed).
