FREE STUFF
I wanted a compiled list of a lot of ways to get free stuff so I figured I would compile my own.

Rewards Programs

Club Nintendo CAG Thread
Inside of Nintendo created games (ie Mario, Zelda, Kirby, etc.) are marked Club Nintendo redeem codes to put to an account to redeem Nintendo promo prizes from desktop backgrounds to promo Nintendo DS games

Disney Movie Rewards CAG Thread
Inside of Disney movies are redeem codes to redeem Disney prizes.
This does take a long time, only do this as a plus after you buy a movie you were going to buy anyway.

GameStop Rewards
Visit your local GameStop to sign up for a free Edge card which will let you gain points for your purchases redeemable online for prizes

My Coke Rewards CAG Thread
Collect Coke codes under neath Coke bottles and other Coke products to redeem prizes from magazines to Nike Gift Cards.

RecycleBank
CAG Thread
A recycling site where you get points for recycling. If you check hunt4freebies.com or the thread in this free stuff section you will find many quizes that can get you free magazine subscriptions and EA discount codes.

Square/Enix Rewards CAG Thread (thanks blindinglights)
Similar to Club Nintendo, Square Enix games have code vouchers that you can redeem on the members website. Every year they give out prizes based on the amount of points you accumulate. The inaugural year had an engraved iPod touch as the ultimate prize.

WB Rewards
Inside of Warner Bros. movies are redeem codes to redeem WB merchandise.

Free Samples
US
Check out http://hunt4freebies.com/, they post many free samples and free magazines online
Extra free sites:
http://www.ilovefreethings.com/ (thanks tankyroo)
UK
Check out http://www.wowfreebies.co.uk/ (thanks Michael Essien)

Online
Bing Rewards (thanks Redeema)
Read SwagBucks.com description but it is run by Microsoft this time. If you dont trust SwagBucks try Bing. Or do both for more free stuff.

Club Bing CAG Thread
Microsofts game site which you earn tickets to redeem on Microsoft prizes. Previous prizes have been Xbox 360 consoles, games, Windows OS's, etc.

SwagBucks.com
A search engine site that allows you to earn "swagbucks" to redeem for prizes such as Amazon Gift Cards, PayPal funds, etc.
Many people post their referrals in the Referral Central do NOT post them here

Computer Bild

Visit http://www.computerbild.de/ it is a german website I believe, it is where people have gotten those Halo Banshee, Carrot, and Fable III codes. No real reason to visit unless they are giving away those codes.

User Website Section

This section is not made to have twenty blogs on it.

Standards/"Rules"
1. No GPT sites, massive referral sites, and NO Lockers
2. This thread was not designed for money to be thrown at you, if you buy Coke hey save your caps, if you watch Disney look behind the pamphlets, etc. this is for you to realize different ways to get free stuff
3. This is for CAGs if you want free stuff you have to post ideas for other stuff that you currently use although you must refer to rule #1.

I updated the post

from now on, if someone posts a great idea for free stuff I will give them credit (ie see Bing Rewards (thanks Redeema))

Thanks op!
I already use most of these, but it is nice to see a new member contributing. As opposed to begging for free stuff.

thanks I updated the OP with your recognition and site

Update: now I will have direct links to the peoples pages who post ideas for free stuff next to the free stuff

mypoints.com

You get emails sent to you, click on the email, get points, redeem for prizes. I get a $50 gamestop gift card in about a year.

I've always tended not to promote rewards programs, because I feel it increases the amount of people who go into stores and steal the rewards or promotional codes off of these items thereby making it harder for legitimate members to use the service. I'm referencing the top four programs. :(

yeah, but I know people who own Wii's and I go over their houses and they dont even know about Club Nintendo

or how about parents that buy Disney movies for kids when they could be getting free stuff for their kid

I hate people who purposefuly buy a certain item they wouldnt normally for extra reward points

so I am right there with you

and at the other poster

mypoints.com i believe is along the lines of many GPT sites, I dont want to post to many referral sites on this thread, I am trying to keep it clean and simple

but thanks for offering friend

If you're going to have Club Nintendo, you might want to add Square Enix member rewards as well.

Also, is the new GameStop rewards program free? I used to have to pay for my Edge card, but if the new one is free I'll pick that up when I go to GameStop tomorrow.

How about houseparty.com? In April they will restart the Playstation Rewards program which does not require you to throw a party. It's the easiest rewards program ever. All you do is blog on their site and post pictures. The rewards have been premium themes, game add-ons, ps home dlc, ps gift cards, move bundles, and full games.

Not really a valuable thread... the free stuff requires money for many of them. its not like these are contests. but who knows, maybe you'll find something amazingly awesome. you could also link to many of the threads on CAG about these "massive ways"
