Protip: some people are stupid. Really, really stupid.

The ratio even gets a little higher when dealing with retail employees.

Don't like the "no" you're getting from a cashier? Walk five feet to another register.

Still getting crap? Get a manager.

Manager's an asshole? Call the Reward Zone Hotline, complain, and get $20+ in RZ certificates.

When I lived in Kansas City, there was one local BB that I avoided like the plague because it was run and staffed by complete morons. The other 4 were A-OK though.
 
I might try to get AC: R for a friend later, but my BB is incredibly stingy. Pretty much any time my BB has an "out" to prevent you from getting something cheaper, they will use it. So I fully expect to get a hard time from them trying to use a coupon on a sale item.

Hell, on price matches, my BB spends 20 minutes going through 5 different confirmations. The last time I had a price match, I sat there for 15 minutes to get Rayman Origins, and eventually the girl came over and said "Sorry for the wait, we have to absolutely confirm every price match here 5 times over or the manager will have our asses, he's such a prick."

chillax. a return/rebuy isn't considered abuse- its akin to doing a post purchase price adjustment. the abuse he's referring to is buying something, using it for 29 days, and returning it on the 30th day for a full refund- and doing so repeatedly with multiple items. they aren't gonna get mad at you for buying something and then return/rebuying to get a better price w/ a coupon; thats just being a smart shopper, and its something they've encouraged me to do.
 
Picked up AC today for the PS3 with 1 included. Had a really awesome cashier too, she snuck the coupon in my bag so I might pick up a 360 copy if I like it enough for the achievements.

Also, is the Ass Creed 1 included also on the xbox 360 version? Because I might just sell my target one, to get ass creed 1 on my Best Buy copy.

They don't think the pros will bother with cheapy flips takes to long to profit they go for bigger ticket items. You'd need to go over 40 returns at least(there's no "set" # but a pattern will alert & red flag then deeper looking will happen). They will never give the exact #'s b/c then a person would go to the limit & stop.

Once the MSRP reaches $40 CL prices drops another $5 unless your in a place where tax in high. I sell in Philly, NJ, DE & with the exception of DE(tax free) I can sell a $60 game for $50-$55 cash in the 1st month easy. Granted, I have regulars that have purchased from me at least 30+ times, they know my stuff isn't stolen & usually comes sealed or brand new looking disc. I always buy games that come with credit since I know I can sell it for $50 cash, pm it to $40, get RZ points & keep the credit. Rinse/repeat you scored RZ silver from games just to bad they ended the $10 RZ for spending $150 as this was so easy to reach when most games I'd buy came it sets of 3's.

Still not bad if u sell on ebay. CL isnt worth it to me cause of gas/time. Lowest price new is 23 right now. Although the price has tanked since it went live and even a few weeks back when the target tradein happened. Knew I should have gotten rid of my $20 copy from BB. O well it has AC1 on it so w/e

I didn't even think about that. The coupon that I used was that one that was only valid for a day so I didn't think I could exchange it and still get the $20 off. Thanks, I'll try it.
 
Best Buy I went to still had 4 copies of the PS3 one with AC1 in it. 3 now.

Ending up getting a PS3 copy of Revelations with AC1 on the disc when I picked up my Darkness II LE.

The Springfield, Ohio store still has plenty of PS3 copies of Revelations all with AC1. I saw atleast 10
 
I'm a digitial @gamers subscriber and STILL never got this months coupons

What a crock of @!% - I emailed customer support and they said that digital subscribers still would be mailed the physical code

Well they got a few days before they fucking expire
 
so i went into get darkness and AC on xbox. and best buy really wanted to fail hard today.

the guy that rang me up couldnt figure out how to seperate the AC coupon from the rest of them. he tore in half almost trying to. before i took it from and seperated it. real tears almost came out.

Picked up a copy of AC:R for $3 out of pocket today.

Protip: act like it is really difficult to tear out the coupon and the nice customer service girl will just scan it for you, leaving you with a great coupon you can reuse!
 
Picked up AC: Revelations two weeks ago with the @gamer coupon for $20 and went back in today in today to get the price adjusted since its on sale for for $10 less this week. Was denied by the manager because it's considered "double dipping". Not a big deal, just didn't realize a price adjustment would be considered "double dipping".

Ugh! When will Best Buy learn?. And, they mad at Amazon?!:roll: I had someone's grandma trying to haggle me over a price match. Whichever number you call, I DON'T recommend calling 1-888-Best-Buy. I've encountered too much incompetence and attitude at that number.
 
I was able to pick up assassin's creed for $10 at the Orem, UT best buy (using an online scan of the coupon). thanks for the info!

I only just found out that this comes with assassin's creed 1 too. that saves me the hassle of acquiring that one to finish my collection (so far). :)

I think that should be disallowed for double dipping. A price match is one thing but whipping out a coupon is too much loss for stores.

but i have my suspicions because wal mart never discounts prices lower than 20 dollars on anything hardly ever around here. so i also think cheap bums here are mostly stupid.

ah well i may be Mormon but i hate this town. i cant wait till i finish school. as somebody i get along with put it everyone is looking for a circle and square. what we need a trapezoid lol. me personally i blame the damn baby making factory zombie female automatons with the personality of a toaster. oh well i guess till i find females with personalities around here my money will go to games so yay me????

A full return & rebuy would get around it but your store doesn't seem like they'll play ball. Try to follow the thread on when to buy(actually using the coupon at the time of purchase) to avoid a possible repeat scenario. This coupon was no risk since the MSRP was $40 so no need to burn it till a sale took place.

That's a load of crap (from BB). I did this on Sunday. Made the purchase a few days before, came back when the sale price was in effect. I believe they had to do a return re-buy because of how the coupon worked (it made the cost of the game lower than the sale price or something), but in the end, I had $10.xx returned to my card. I even confirmed this would work before I made the purchase, so there's no doubt they should be able to give you the difference back. Try again with someone else at the store, or as someone else suggested, call corporate.
