Medal of Honor Heroes 2! IN STORES! 32 Player Lag Free! 60FPS? IGN: 8.4! GS: 8.0!
Perhaps you shouldn't play then, teabagging is immature and foolish.
I'm glad you take me seriously mr mature robot face.
Sounds lke somebody's been bagged a few times and didn't enjoy it.

ANYHOO.
If what they say about the campaign is true... "Going back to the MOH roots" that's enough to get a buy there. The series hasn't been that great in a long time. I remember the magic that was MOH1 and Underground. Great games.

Not that the rest sucked, but it lacked something that the first 2 had.
And the different control scemes sound damn fun. Shoulder bazooka anyone?

I read somewhere(I think IGN since they're in love with this game x_x) that the sounds are so good when you get a headshot on a soldier in like a long narrow way, the helmet will actually bounce off the wall, make the clutter noises, and have a little bit of echo

This game, Mario Galaxy, and Super Smash Bros are all examples of how Wii games can have good graphics if developers put some effort into it.

I would literally orgasm if voice-chat came with it. I think there are voice commands though, right? Teabagging would be effin' hilarious. If someone gets knocked down like a teammate, you can point the cursor at your teammate, press the "A" button on the Wiimote, and you will run toward that person. Then, you will see your balls on top of the persons face. You must shake the wiimote for a proper teabag. Once done, press "B" to exit. :p

Why would anyone enjoy 'it"? BTW this robot face is MF Doom. Hopefully it'll come out next week and I will see you(no hearing, booo nintendo) on the internets.

Watched some of the IGN videos, and the controls look really nice. Very fast, very mouse-like.

Definitely one of those "couldn't be done with dual-analog" situations.

8.4 on IGN. Even though they've been speaking positive about it, I expected a lower review than that. Nice.

What it is, however, is the best controlling, most entertaining first-person shooter on Wii, and a no-brainer for hardcore gamers. Everything from IR sensitivity, horizontal and vertical look sensitivity, and dead zone (the amount of space the IR can move without beginning to push the screen) is fully customizable, allowing for near-perfect control via the Wii remote. With a few minutes of tweaking, most players will find their sweet spot, though with the options always on-hand we ended up making fine-tune changes throughout our entire first playthrough of the game right up until the review. Now that we've found exactly the right feeling though, we're deadly, and it was well, well worth the time it took to tweak it; online results are proof enough of that.

As the final portion of the MOH trifecta, online is an impressive first effort on Wi. The game runs with 32 players online and does so with very little interruption. With the option of playing deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the flag, players will have a decent list of options to work with, resulting in easily the best pure online gameplay on the system thus far. Simply log on EA Nation, create an account (used instead of friend codes), find a lobby, and start playing. At any time you can initiate a vote to kick players or change the map, as well as outfit your soldier with different weaponry or change control style, making the experience extremely seamless for Wii's first online FPS. Since EA Nation also supports friend lists and quick-chat commands, MOH also allows for these options, so when logging on you'll instantly be able to tell which friends are playing where.

They were bugged about lack of online voice chat (a non-issue for me).

I'm disappointed it got an 8.4. However, I liked this part:

Rather than beating around the bush with the topic of Zapper control we'll just come right out and state that it could be gone tomorrow and we'd never shed a tear, and that goes for any game out there that supports it. It's not a knock on Heroes, it's a knock on the peripheral itself, as it only proves to slow down your aim (twitch control is best done with the flick of the wrist, not by pivoting a huge chunk of plastic) and poorly simulates a light-gun experience. We get it, the Wii is our weapon; no need for the shell itself. Some casual gamers may get a kick out of using it, but for us - hardcore gamers that we are - we just don't see the appeal.

See, Wii Zapper sucks. Which is why I haven't even thought about getting it in the first place. :D

How can it be the best controlling most entertaing FPS but score lower than Metroid Prime by 11 points?

Definitely getting this game now. I've been waiting for a good FPS to come along. Finally, some decent online multiplayer.

It is odd to me that EA was able to get away from using friend codes (I was under the impression that Nintendo made every developer use them), but they did not (were not able to) put voice chat into it. Will Nintendo not allow developers to put voice chat in their games or was it a decision that EA made themselves to leave it out?

Either way voice chat is not that important to me, I'm just curious.

The problem for EA isn't getting Nintendo to let them use voice chatting. If there was already a voice chatting system for the Wii available, they would use it I'm sure. The problem is that there is no system and they would have to design it because Nintendo doesn't seem to give a shit.

No voicechat is seriously gay. Just age restriction the whole thing. It's all about safety these days. First of all, there's already a headset for the Nintendo DS where you can chat with your friends. If there's one for the DS, then there is no excuse to bring it to the Wii. Second of all, parental controls. You can already restrict certain ESRB rating games from being played. Heck, just add an option "ABLE TO USE HEADSET YES/NO".

Support quality third party games on wii, cmon guys.
EA are hosting the servers themselves, go out and buy it, dont let this flop

read the review, no split screen co-op. deathmatch,CTF, team deathmatch, all included. Dunno about bots. They haven't actually said anything with the performance on online with 32 players.
32 players online? That's a lot of friend codes.
lol... i wonde if 32 ppl will even buy this. most wii owners are casual and wait for the marios

YES! They should just have the damn parental controls have that option for those stupid paranoid parents! We want vocie chat...especially for Super Smash Bros Brawl!

??? what do you mean less than 32 people buying it. At LEAST 1milllion people will buy this. Don't worry about it, its the first worthy online WWII shooter on the wii, of course people will buy it.

Man, I'd totally get this tomorrow if it weren't for the TRU B2G1 next week. I've been waiting for an online FPS for the Wii... a poor man's paintball substitute, haha.

I'll be picking a copy up at the TRU sale alongside Battalion Wars 2 and Geometry Wars.

Lots of war titles. Hmmm.

I think I'll wait for Christmas to get this game.... all of these games + college is just to much!

Eh.. I'll bite, as soon as I get the Gamespot review. If it scores high, I'll get it.
Edit: Nevermind. I'll order it anyway. 32 Player online, here I come!

Been playing for the past 2 hours online, instead of Galaxy of course (my brother got this as well so we've been playing together online). No lag at all, and I've been playing with full on 32 players in each room and I've had notorious lag in Strikers because my router is so far away. Only about 5 weapons per side, but everyone will find a weapon they will like. Sniping is amazing (which I end up doing for every game) and I was logging head shots like no tomorrow. I haven't calibrated my options, its smooth right now but I get the feeling I want to tweak a few things. Really awesome game and its delivering a great multiplayer experience so far, a great substitute over some 360 games.

My EA nation name is zerowing1991 if anyone wants to add me or anything.

Hate to be a game killer but I cannot find any sort of offline multiplayer mode, everytime I select "multiplayer" it sends me to the EA Nation log in. The back of the box has the Wiimote symbol with a 4 but my second Wiimote won't turn on (its synced). So yeah I think its only online multiplayer which really sucks because this would be an awesome game to play with some friends.

Confusing statement. Please clarify
Confusing statement. Please clarify
My router is far from my Wii, I tend to lag in Strikers, get DCed in Madden 08, and my computer in the same room drops the signal quite often. But in this I've played 2 straight hours and no problem with connecting or staying connected.

During the game there was 0 lag and everything ran smoothly, think Metroid Prime 3 in a multiplayer enviroment, its that smooth.

I will be joining you next week, zero, provided my TRU gets it in for the sale.

And even then, I'll go pick it up elsewhere at the worst.

As a huge WWII shooter fan I am definitely going to get this on the Wii. Is it even available on the 360?

I loved COD3 and replayed it twice I think. Popping people in the head on teh wii is just so much more fun.

SO you will be able to use the zapper in campaign mode right? that could be really cool if you could use it there instead of just in the arcade mode, I'm not sure and looking for an answer.

Either way this is a MUST buy for me. when does it realease?

a.) According to the IGN review, it sounds like you can use it in all modes.

b.) Available in stores now.

I don't have the game yet, but I read elsewhere that the four-player mode is for the arcade railshooter mode only. Course, I can't verify it, but someone else can.

Nice way of looking at it... or a northern state/winter Paintball substitute.

I'm confused about information I've been reading about this game. Is Jimmy Patterson in it or not?

And are there undercover missions? "Papers, please. ...... You're Jimmy Patterson!!"

I was waiting for a player review regarding lag, thank you. Lag on my Strikers games was hit-or-miss, which made me especially nervous about multiplayer on MoH because of the terrible things I've read about online Madden.

How would you stack MoH's online graphics against Metroid Prime 3? And would you say MoH online in a full game is as smooth as in single-player?

The online graphics are meh, player models look kind of bad, probably last gen stuff. Some of the enviroments do look pretty good, but Metroid's graphics would win hands down. I can't really comment on single player because I've only played about 5 minutes of arcades and the rest of my time online.

Since I do very little Online gaming (more lan on my two "basement pc's")

What is the preferred connection speed with this game? I have a wireless card (yeah I suck) thats pretty much the only way to get the net besides through a dish provider.

It's a fairly solid game for what it packs in.
Regular mission mode, Arcade zap mode, and the online play.

I gave all 3 a healthy shot last night.

Mission mode: Pretty much like every other MOH game. This time though it's pretty meaty with firefights and the levels feel a bit smaller. The main attraction here is the control, and it works well. Twisting radio dials with the wiimote, setting charges, shooting the shoulder bazooka. Everything feels pretty natural. I actually found myself turning up the wiimote volume finally. It's straight forward but presents itself well.

Arcade Mode: Oddly enough I enjoy this a lot. Pickup and play you can't go wrong. The only issue is that when it's on rails like this and you zoom, you are just zooming to the center of the screen. So if someone is off to the side and you zoom, they go out of frame and you can't hit them. And it insists that you have the chuck attached. I have no idea why unles sit's used later. But as far as i've been you just use he zapper.... and the chuck dangles there. *shrug*

Online: There's only a few gripes. One of them would be span points. Not enough of them for sure. Be ready to explode a few times on entry. Character models like said are a bit odd looking, but they only seem that way after you die and view from another player. I think they did this to keep the framerate going, and that goes well. I've had SLIGHT lag, but it only lasted for a second and never longer. There's some decent maps, but not enough. But the ones they have are pretty large in size so that almost makes up for it. You can drop instantly in and out of games, setup your own, and have a friends list so that's a plus. And ... NO JUMPING (thank god). So you won't see dickbags hopping all over.

For every down there's an up, but I reccomend it.
Not an A+ but it's def fun to be had.

Gamespot gave this a 8.0, which really surprised me. I was expecting at most in the 7s. The review itself is also surprisingly positive for Gamespot.

I'm have trouble deciding between MoHH2 or RE:UC. One I can get tomorrow with the TRU deal, the other I will push off until Christmas. If arcade had multiplayer, I'd definitely pick this up first.

No bunnyhopping, nice. I'm pretty much getting this for the multiplayer. To be honest, Multiplayer is where it's at. Once people actually get the game and start playing, Multiplayer will kick ass. The campaign mode is really just a plus for me, as well as arcade mode and whatnot. The only downside I've heard about multiplayer are two things:

A. Invincible mode. Basically, when you spawn and press the "HOME" button or something, you turn invincible (no one can shoot you). But, you can't do this out of spawn. So basically, if you're getting raped at your spawn point, just press it and wait til they go away then exit out. It's effing common sense, yet people complain about this. So, who knows.

B. Apparently it takes quite a clip (-- as in 1 and a half clips or something) to kill someone. I'll see how this is.. but it makes it challenging anyway. This isn't Counter Strike, where it's spray and die in 1 sec.

Its probably to balance the easy aiming?
But, that sounds not cool, it shouldnt take more than like half a clip to kill someone.
Counter Strike is kind of silly, random spraying will get you kills from people in cover. That and you can also shoot through anything thats not 10 ft thick walls.
Hopefully thats not true or there are headshots or something

How does everyone else like the controls? I am having some trouble adjusting the controls to my liking.

I think I am in the minority that enjoyed MOH Vanguard and I don't remember having as much trouble aiming and moving around. Other than that I am enjoying the game. The shotgun motion is awesome.

Picked this up at TRU today, split the b2g1 with some friends, and used the $35 giftcard I got last week from SMG and Castlevania.

Played only a couple campaign missions. Fun so far. Very smooth, spotty AI. Though I wont have time to really get into it until after Tuesday.

From what I hear, you can definitely set up private games. So we should get some CAG game nights going :D
