Mega Man Collection

Thing is, the content is entirely different. The gamecube gets something much more interesting than a cartoon

p.s. X series still ruined mega man.

The level of interest in the interview is only directly proportional to the quality of the information it delivers.

Of course this could be differnt for everyone. Some like X some don't, some like cartoons more than interviews.

imo, cartoon > interview

but that's just me...and b/c i dont have a gc, i got a ps2

If the interview is at all like the Icons special on G4 than it would be a good watch. Personally I do not think either controller(PS2 or GCN) is worth using to play MM. I plan on getting the PS2 version after the Street Fighter controller comes out as the D-Pad and buttons look really nice and it will probably make MM a little easier than todays controllers( with the disappearing blocks and such)

what i said means im dumb?

:?
Don't worry, being called dumb by DenisDFat is like being called retarded by a downy.

I'd pick it up, even though I think MM8 is worst in the series. The price that Mega Man 5 for the NES fetches for is pretty close to the price of this collection alone. It seems like a pretty good value, and I'm pretty suprised that the developer cleaned up the bugs reported in a quick amount of time.

Personally, I'm looking forward to the GBA version a little bit more, as the classic GB Mega Man games are colorized. Also, MM 3, 4 and 5 are pretty damn expensive on their own these days, so it makes this (as well as the console collection) a pretty good value.

portability baby! yea, i dont know which one i want more...more games or portability...tough choice but i'll probably end up gettin both since all the games in the gba and ps2/gc versions are different :D

dumb because of preference of cartoon over interview..

it was not even a particularly good cartoon. I caught it once, but didn;t bother waking up early for it, as I did with Garfield and Dragon Warrior and even the Street Frogs and Karate Cat.

I do not think that the interview will be anything new. The G4 special on Mega Man was really really good and a good deal was spent talking to the creator. (Icons was the best show on G4 IMO )

icons is pretty much the only reason to watch g4, they need to do more shows like that and less stupid shows like judement day

Mega Man 3 all the way baby! Rush, blue dot passwords, Protoman, all the bosses from MM2, dont forget MegaMan staring at you as you pick a boss. I'll be getting the ps2 version, the cartoon was hot.
Anyone else planning to buy this? I know Capcom ran this franchise deep into the ground, but I haven't played since MM3, I think. That far in, they were pretty good.

If I pick this collection up, anyone have a recommendation about which games to tackle first? Well, I plan to start with MM1, b/c, well, it wouldn't be right otherwise. After that, though?
I'll wait for a Legends collection

which would include:
Legends
Legends II
Legends III (new)
and Misadventures of Tron Bonne

all with updated graphics, *sigh* that' never coming out :(

well, i've never seen the cartoon series, so i'd want to see that...an interview could just be written online and i could read that...i'd rather read interviews actually...kinda weird, lol

if they fired Tommy the show would be 10X better.
the cartoon sucked, and interviews are still better and p.s. I hate dumb people like stupid people.
o well, im not gonna buy it for the extras...and i dont have a gc anyway...so o well...

I got mine today

Came with T-Shirt, Poster, Game, and what looks like an iron on or something.

Now the wait continues for Earthbound 64... err, Mega Man Collection for GBA which I pre-ordered at the same time.
